I write contemporary romance and women's fiction. I always give my characters their happily ever after, but I love to make them work for it! It's a long road to love, so sit back and enjoy the ride.
I am wife to the love of my life, mom to a special, beautiful son, and a friend to those living with autism through my charitable foundation.
This epilogue was amazing. It was fantastic to be back with the power couple Maxim and Lennix. An epilogue that gave me all the feels and only showed why I love this couple so much. There’s so much mutual love and respect between them. Of course Kimba made an appearance. I’m so happy.
I waited to write my review for Rebel King until I got this epilogue. WHAT an epic epilogue it was! Not only was it from both POV, and wrapped everything up in a nice bow....it was PANTY COMBUSTING HOT!!!! Whew😅holy smokes!!!!! I love the dynamic between Max and Nix. When it’s sweet it’s drippy and when it’s hard and passionate it’s like fire! They have a chemistry that is amazing!
I could not have asked for anything better. We got to see snippets of the big event, got to see Max in the Oval Office and Lennix in her element. It was so worth the wait!!!!
This was so sweet. Although it seemed like they barely had time for each other during the day because they are busy bees. They stole all the seconds they could. And at night, it was just them. Forget the world.
I loved how happy Maxim was with the news. After reading Queen Move, I already knew what it was but it was amazing to see that moment in their povs.
And of course can't forget to mention how hot this was too! These two have always been FIRE together. That's still there.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "I married a tsunami. You don't try to control a woman like Lennix. You love her and let her wash over you."
This was short and sweet and everything I wanted in the ending of the duet. To see them both shine in their element with hints for the future. It tied everything up nicely. And gives you a peek into Kimba's story in Queen Move, which I've read and loved too. Definitely download the bonus epilogue!
I didn't expect it to be that short, I thought it would be longer like >100 pages but nope it just 33 pages.
It basically show us a glimpse of their life after The Rebel King and tell us something important 😏, I can't say what it was because it'll be major spoiler why this novella is made. I like it but it's too short for my liking. Beside the novella about Maxim and Lennix it also contains sample from Queen Move, Kimba's story.
For anyone asking where you can get this book: signed up for Kennedy Ryan's newsletter and you'll get it.
FYI - this is a much needed Epilogue since the ending of the series duet has a lot of loose ends that need tying up!!!!!i So definitely don't miss it. I believe you can get this through the authors website/newsletter. in reference to order - I actually read this epilogue after I read the Christmas crown novella because technically this epilogue takes place after their story. But it is not necessary at all to do that and probably should just be read immediately after finishing the rebel king(book 2).
I love it when authors give us these free extras where we have the chance to spend a little bit more time with characters that we forged a connection with. This bonus epilogue was super sweet and it only made me more curious to read Kimba's story.
Yep ... I cried, so much love filled this whole series I didn't think Kennedy could add any more ... but she did ! X10 I'm gonna miss Maxim and Lennix so much
This is the epilogue that needed to be at the end of The Rebel King – it provides the closure that I so needed for Maxim and Lennix as we get a glimpse into their future to see where their dreams take them.
It’s funny, sweet and super steamy, and I finished this one feeling immensely satisfied, now having the closure that I needed.
It’s hard to find, given that it seems it was a promotion when you sign up for Kennedy Ryan’s newsletter. I’ve provided the link here for those who are interested - http://subscribepage.com/allthekingsm...
It’s a must-read for fans of the duet.
4.5 stars (same rating as Rebel King, because I consider it a part of that story).
As a person who wants to see an independent person in office, I know this book is not real, but it gives me hope that one day it will happen. I think change is good and Kennedy reprsented the USA's issue in poltics, moreso, the two party system that we have.
But, I am glad to see a first baby being born and one of my favorite couples happy.
It's been a year since I've read the All the King's Men books, and I still think about this power couple often. I just love how perfectly this epilogue ties their story up. Their future looks so promising; I can't help but smile.
And now, I think I might go back and reread their duet again.
I loved this epilogue for such as an amazing couple. i love this powerful couple and it was good to see that with all the hard work and drama from the last book that Maxim and Lennix stayed strong and won the Oval Office together. I look forward to hearing more about them in Kimba's story as I want to know what they had. Such a feel good story.
I thought that they had another book🥲 so color me confused when i realized that there was not another one! But I’m glad I got to know them, And I’m glad that he won And that they’re married! I’m just so glad that they are still together and happy and now welcoming a baby to their home! I love the endlessly bye /
Ok, so I could go without reading this. The duet covered the essentials of Lennix and Maxim's story. This just informed that Maxim was elected president and Lennix pregnancy. And of course with these two there was a steamy love scene. That's all folks .
What a nice way to end this duology. I really enjoyed this last chapters of my babies Lenix and Max, the way this shows how both acomplished their goals togheter melts my heart. I willl reacomend these books to everyone who listens.
Got a book hangover from finishing The Rebel King? This bonus material is a heady cure. *** It's short and sweet. Chapter length. *** It reads like a Pixar perfect short film. *** You get a Kimba update! I was so happy reading her scene! *** And, yes, there's spice.
