This book is basically the entire hard to love series compiled as one. The entire series was all consuming and honestly I'm still reeling from the aftershock!

Hard To Love ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So in this book Laura is still grieving her father's death and Seth is helping her with it. After a while they start dating, and it's been two years since they've been dating now, when Laura is applying for colleges as a nurse and Seth is trying to rise high up in the hierarchy to run the streets. Laura and Seth have many differences. Laura doesn't like Seth's lifestyle and even though they have disagreements at times, they love each other too much to leave. But at the end of the book, tragedy strikes and Laura leaves, stealing from Seth and only leaving a note behind.

Desperate To Touch ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

8 years have passed since Laura and Seth have last seen each other. Seth is working with the Cross brothers now and finally decides that it is time for Laura to pay for stealing from him. Laura knew that Seth would be coming to collect her debt which is why she starts collecting information on Marcus. Laura and Seth get together again in this book but certain revelations only drive Laura further apart from Seth but tragedy strikes once again at the end of the book which brings them closer than ever.

Tempted To Kiss ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

After the cliffy ending of the last book, Laura is in jail and Seth is captured by the enemy. Laura starts acting stupid and even childish at times in this book. But she starts redeeming herself towards the end. But the cliffyyyyy OMG!! It was one I did not see coming!! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE SETH'S REACTION!! I MEAN I KNOW HE LOVES HER BUT STILL.

Easy To Fall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was my fav from the entire series. I loved the way Seth reacted to the news. I'm not gonna give away much, cause its better if you read it but this book revolves around how Seth and Laura overcome their past and start working for a future together. There were A LOT of tragic moments and the two definitely hard to work hard for their HEA but it was well earned.

And the end..well there are no words for it. WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?! WE GET A POV FROM MARCUS AND HE FINALLY REVEALS HIS IDENTITY TO DECLAN BUT THE BOOK JUST ENDS!! I MEAN C'MON WHO THE HELL IS MARCUS!!!! DECLAN KNOWS WHO HE IS CAUSE MARCUS REVEALS HIMSELF AND I WAS LIKE OMG I'M FINALLY GONNA KNOW WHO TF HE IS BUT THE BOOK ENDS!!

Needless to say W. Winters really knows how to keep her readers on their toes..I'd give this book more stars if I could cause this book was just amazing!! Bravo, Miss Winters you really stole my heart away with this book!

Oh, she did it again!!!Finally, here is the mysterious Seth King’s book!! This takes place before meeting the cross brothers. Laura Roth and Seth King’s beautiful journey together is coming to an end in the fourth book of the series. Laura left us with a shocking discovery at the end of book three. How will she tell Seth and what will he do? With everything they have been through can they finally get their happily ever after or is it too late? I cannot say much more other than this is a must read and Seth is absolutely perfect!!! This is a Breathtakingly heartbreaking yet beautiful, perfectly written book. It was everything I was hoping for and more. You will get all your unanswered questions answered and have a few tissues handy too. Bravo on this touching story!! I’ve fallen hard for this couple! There's parts that will make you hold your breath, break your heart but yet make you heart feel ahh. So this book is basically the entire hard to love series compiled as one. In the table of contents you will know which chapters are from which book in the series, so I have decided to review the books individually and also the entire series together.

So my rating for the entire series: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Seth and Laura basically are star crossed lovers, even after being separated for a few years they still found their way back to each other. They both had their insecurities and trust issues but they eventually overcome those obstacles and found a way to be happy together. Their journey wasn’t easy at all, trust me half of the series I was so annoyed with Laura. I honestly was not able to understand her at all! She frustrated me so much to the point I was just reading the series for the mafia story line (Marcus & Cole) and for Seth. I was not interested with Laura or her feelings or whatever she was going through because she was just pissing me off so much with her actions. But then finally towards the third book did she finally make sense to me, still pissed me off when she was hiding stuff from Seth but I finally started enjoying reading their love story again. Also I CANT BELIEVE MARCUS IS GETTING HIS OWN BOOK. I’m so excited and scared at the same time, because I was instantly attracted to that character, even though we were never officially introduced to him. No one has seen Marcus he is like the boogeyman. So color me surprised when I read his POV towards the end and got to know he is getting his very own book!

Hard To Love: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So Seth and Laura have been together for 2 years now, Laura is applying for colleges so she can be a nurse and Seths trying to rise up in the hierarchy and run the town. Laura doesn’t like Seth’s lifestyle but she knows he is never going to leave it. Seth wants Laura to become dependent on him and let him take care of her, but Laura keeps on refusing his offers to help her out as she wants to be an independent woman and doesn’t want to be indebted to Seth. So basically this book is revolving around these issues faced by the couple, you can tell they both love each other a lot but are walking through needles around one another regarding Seth’s way of lifestyle. Until towards the end of the book, tragedy strikes and Laura runs away from Seth.

Desperate To Touch: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (When Laura was pissing me off)

Now 8 years have passed by and they finally meet again, well Seth decides its time Laura pays him back for what she stole from him before running away. Laura is a nurse now and Seth’s working with the cross brothers in New York. Now here Laura pissed be off a lot with her actions. Every time her POV came I was like ugggh not again.

Like she felt guilty for leaving Seth when I don’t understand why? The “tragedy” happened because of Seth and his refusal to give up the lifestyle. So I don’t understand why she felt so guilty that she was agreeing with everything Seth was saying. She would internally complain about it or get pissed and when I think oh finally she is going to stand up for herself she doesn’t. She had no self respect in this book. I only continued reading for the mafia plot of this book related to Cole and Marcus. I was just so intrigued by who this mysterious villain was that I didn’t care if Laura was pissing me off. I honestly was not interested in Seth’s and Laura’s relationship in this book at all because it was just so confusing.

In case you are wondering what the mafia side of the plot I’m talking about is : -
Cole is an ex FBI agent now cop looking for Marcus a mysterious guy no one has ever seen but everyone is afraid of him. The cross brothers and Seth are working together to find out anything they can on Marcus so that they can hand over the information to Cole in exchange for whatever evidence he has against them.

Tempted To Kiss: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Towards the end I finally started liking Laura and omg the ending fuuuucck)

Again Laura making no sense to me. But then finally towards the end she starts redeeming herself and becomes an understandable character. Finally we see progress between Seth and Laura that was long overdue, it was really cute. But omg the Plot twist towards the end. I was like NOOOOO WAAAYYY OMG I CANT WAIT FOR SETHS REACTION.

Easy To Fall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (My favorite from the entire series)

I don’t want to say much without giving spoilers but this book was the best from the entire series, it’s solely revolves around Seth and Laura and how Laura is finally saying goodbye to her past so that she can have a future with Seth. And OMG WE GET A POV FROM MARCUS TOWARDS THE END. I WAS SHOCKED WOULD BE AN UNDERSTATEMENT AND DECLAN KNOWS WHO MARCUS IS BECAUSE MARCUS SHOWS HIS FACE TO HIM AND IM LIKE OMG IM FINALLY GOING TO KNOW WHO HE IS AND THE BOOK ENDS. Was that a spoiler? I don’t think so. 😂.

Just when you think she can’t get any better, she goes and does it again!! The way her characters are all intertwined in this Cross world blows my mind. There is so much emotion and feeling with every word of this story. I am simply and equivocally blown away by this book.

I was sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for this story to unfold. With all the twists and turns, you are just holding on for dear life. If you love alpha males, suspense, and total obsession over a book, WWinters is your girl. She is a master at this.

This starts Seth and Laura’s book. And boy is it a doozy. I’m still trying to recover. They both have a history that is really hard to overcome. They support each other, but crap hits the fan and tough decisions must be made. The twists and turns will leave you asking what just happened?? It truly is a must read for romance lovers and alpha male lovers. Seth and Laura’s story is one you won’t forget anytime in the near future.

SERIOUSLY!?!? Willow Winters - what they heck have you done to me?!? I need to be picked up off the floor!! Once again, a cliffhanger that I can handle because I know the next one won’t be too far behind. One that will make my world right all over again. One that is worth all the anguish and pain you endure when reading this continuation of Seth and Laura!!

I never have the right words to describe Willow Winters books. They’re these little nuggets of magic that totally drug you. She has such a way with words that it will make you part of the story. Her descriptions, attention to detail and overall storyline will rock your world and heart, and not put them back together until she’s ready!

I am never ready for Willow’s stories, but this one got me all the way to the core. It has completely rocked my world. The way she leaves me hanging - I might have wanted to throw my kindle. I might want to cuss this beautiful, amazing author - but I will forever love her series, characters, and just her as an out of this world author!!

So let Seth and Laura’s story continue. Yes - you will want to strangle someone. Hit something. But it has so much attention to detail, situations that you won’t predict, and overall steaminess that is signature Willow. Their story is one of suspense, unpredictability, and darkness at its best. It’s a rollercoaster of every emotion possible, with steaminess that doesn’t disappoint.

Need a book that will keep you the edge of my seat? Buy this one!! How about an unpredictable author that continues to throw twists and turns that leave you questioning what you read?!? Yep, she’s your girl!! This book left me never being able to predict what was coming next, and floored me by the characters problems and situations.

Seth and Laura. Holy COW!! These two have caused many cold showers in my life. This book just continues to show that their chemistry literally feels like it’s real life as you read. Between the secrets and twists, I fell even deeper in love with Seth and Laura.

The ending - well let me just say I need the last book NOW!! Willow’s books are well worth the frustrating, long hours that are spent counting down the minutes until the next book is released - part of a series or not!!

An absolutely, fabulous, 5+ star read that all romance suspense lovers need!! You will miss out on an amazing couple that will completely change your top list of book couples!!

This book (and series for that matter) are the type of books that consume your every thought, make the hours, minutes and seconds fly by so quickly you wonder where the day could’ve possibly went when you were in your Seth and Laura obsessed world. She makes the world around you disappear so you can be one with them. It is seriously unputtadownable and you won’t want to put it down!!

I was amazed, emotional, utterly gutted by this final book with Seth and Laura. The way this story twists and turns, breaks your heart, takes your breath, and then puts it all back together is so epic and sensational. It is a true testament to what Willow Winters is capable of and how she loves to make you her slave to her words! W. Winters continuously proves her incredible ability to write a story that you are completely and fully invested in, heart, soul and mind.

This story fulfills all your wishes for Seth and Laura. You get to see how their story unravels, and it is one steamy ride full of steaminess, secrets, negotiations and doing whatever you have to do to protect those you love. There are still questions left to be answered, as expected with Willow. That is just one of the reasons you will fall head over heels with Willow Winters books and characters.

HEART-WARMING MEMORABLE FIERY PASSIONATE ROMANCE!

This series seizes your attention from the first page. A rollercoaster of pent-up emotions aching to be released. Each book in this set is a memorable page-turner read. Breathtaking scenes wow you, emotional moments tug at your heart, the suspense is spellbinding, the horrific danger is spine-chilling, the chemistry between Seth and Laura burns with a fiery passion and the happy forever is well worth the wait.

“Hard To Love” Is the start of how Laura and Seth came to be. Both have known Mafia life from a young age. Laura is known as the good girl; she is an outstanding woman, a wonderful friend, and she loves Seth with every beat of her heart. She yearns to know the secrets Seth keeps from her about his Mafia business. His priority is to protect the only woman he has ever loved.

“Easy To Fall” Seth and Laura have suffered many trials throughout their relationship. This story pushes the boundaries of friendship, loyalty, and true unconditional love. Marcus asks Seth for a favor. Though Seth is not a Cross, the brothers prove to him they are the family he needs. Seth and Laura face a few hurdles before reaching their happy forever.

Fantastic captivating, well written reads with exceptional character interaction.  The author does a fabulous job showing what true unconditional love is. Relishing this gratifying set, I voluntarily reviewed a pre-release copy of this story via the author.

There was really no need for so many parts for this story. One or even 2 books would've sufficed. By the time I got to the last book, I was ready for the story to be done. Tried reading this Author's works in the past, and though this is the first time I completed any of her series, I had the same issue as I did when I first tried to read her books - I hate her timelines (the way she bounces back and forth). I also find her writing style a little confusing.
Anyway, the other characters have their own stories - and while I felt this book left so many things unanswered, this series exhausted me, and I'm too done to go looking for the answers.
3 stars only cos I finished it.

This was sexy book with love,hate,betrayl and so many emotions. I really like ww writing now. She write exactly how i like it. so this was such a good read for me. The story takes place in time lap the before and after. so there after story is really something. I really appreciate for the details she put into this book. i like seth nd his arrogant behaviour but laura is the heart of the story.

Please prepare yourself because this book is going to make your heartache. Seth and Laura's story will quickly suck you in, pull you under and leave you breathless. If you are familiar with the Irresistible Attraction series these characters will be known to you and If not, you are still fine because this book is a perfect jumping in point. This is a book that hits the ground running and keeps a energetic pace that doesn't cease until you reach the cliffhanger at the end of the book. Your own emotions will go on a wild roller coaster ride as you learn the rich history of these two characters and the painful past they share. The gripping storyline will have your nerves stretched to the breaking point as you read this brilliant blend of intensity, drama, tension, sweetness, intense emotional turmoil, suspense, danger, passion and love.

Desperate to Touch (Hard to Love #2)
This is the second book in Seth and Laura's romance. You must read Hard To love, book one first to get the full story so far or to catch up and be prepared to read this book. Also, just so you know, this book also features characters from the much bigger Merciless series. You do not need to read them first but I truly believe once you get a taste of the incredible world and characters that this author has created you will desperately want more. As the story picks up the emotions get deeper, the suspense thickens and the tension just builds and builds. I like Laura and Seth and my heart aches for them both. It is so easy to feel the sweet connection that these two share and their chemistry is simply off the charts steamy. Unfortunately for them, the also have a very painful star-crossed lover cloud of doom hanging over their heads causing plenty of strife, angst and heartbreak for this couple. The engaging and complex storyline captures and holds your attention easily with a compelling blend of drama, mystery, heat, heart, secrets, lies, bombshell revelations and big, jaw-dropping twists. Try to prepare yourself for a huge cliffhanger and boy was it a stunner!!!!

Tempted to Kiss (Hard to Love #3) (5 Stars)
Holy Moly!!! What Did I Just Read!! This book has left me speechless, gutted and an emotional wreck. This is the third book in Seth and Laura's story and these books must be read in order. Right from the first book this couple's story has been intense, angsty and filled with heartache, but I never even once dreamed we would end up where this book took us. There is just sooo much I want to say but I simply can't. This book is a must read and trust me when I say that it puts a different spin on EVERYTHING!! This couple is truly breaking my heart. As the devastation around them grows so does the desperation of their love until the tension and poignancy is excruciating. This book does end on a cliffhanger and IT. IS. HUGE!!!!

Easy to Fall (Hard to Love #4) (5 Stars)
This couple's romance and relationship has been epic and tragic and emotional. There have been so many twists and jaw-dropping bombshells as the story has unfolded, with the most mind-blowing and devastating one being at the end of the last book. My heart literally broke and I admit that my faith in this couple and the profound love that they share was shaken to the core. After all, even the deepest connection and strongest of hearts can only handle so much and as much as I enjoy this author's work I had doubts that even she had the skill to help these two weather the torrential and devastating storm she had thrown them into. After reading this book I am absolutely thrilled to say while the trip was often harrowing, painful and emotionally gutting it was worth every tear I shed, every moment of anxiety and every single ache my heart had to endure. If you want to be completely consumed by characters that will capture your heart, be pulled into a world that will captivate you and make you never want to leave it and bear witness to a love that is as beautiful and pure as it is at times ugly and cataclysmic, you need to read Laura and Seth's right now! I know you won't regret it.

It’s been a long time since I read the Merciless series about Carter Cross–like, last november or something–and it was a difficult and emotional read. Since then, Carter had stayed in a corner of my mind, as well as Willow Winters’s writing style and atmosphere. But I hadn’t revisited this world, until now. And damn if it didn’t become even more powerful.

This time, the story is about Seth King, a right hand of the Cross brothers we met early on, and Laura, the love of his life who left him. As this book is a collection of the 4 books of the Hard to love series, plus the short prequel Longing to hold, it’s a long and painful journey for them–especially since it started years before, when they were still in high school. A lot happens, and I don’t want to spoil anything, but let’s just say that some people are really cursed with bad luck.

Set in the Merciless world, we meet again with all the characters we met before: the Cross brothers and their significant others, and of course Marcus, the mysterious puppeteer who plays with everyone’s strings. There was a strong sense of coming home as soon as Hard to love began. I also enjoyed that we actually see little of Carter–sorry–but a lot more of the other brothers, especially Jase and Declan. The relationship between them and Seth is strong and beautiful. We usually read so little about male friendship in romance novels.

I had mixed feelings for Laura’s character. Though everyone says she’s strong–and yes, she still stands up despite a shitty life–she spends her time hiding things and crying. There’s only one moment she shows real strength–you’ll know it when it happens–but it should come with a trauma we never see. I really loved Seth’s character though. The way he loves is all consuming, be it girlfriend or friends. He’s loyal and protective and ready to make sacrifices to assure the happiness of the ones he loves. Beautiful.

Willow Winters knows how to create an atmosphere with tiny details, words and actions. You feel what the characters feel, and it’s often painful. Prepare some tissues.

Hard NOT to love 💕

Book one - I’ve been waiting with baited breath for Seth and Laura’s story and I can honestly say I experienced a rainbow of emotions. I felt joy, sadness, fear, anxiety and loss much like these characters did. Also the story was a bit different to what I expected as well initially, not in a bad way at all. It dealt more with the past but as most readers know, we love a bit of a backstory and this has it all😍

Looking forward to more in this series and the Cross world❣️

Book two - Seth is Desperate to touch Laura🥰

You know how you feel the day before Christmas? The excitement of getting presents and spending time with family and friends and eating yourself silly......yes, well imagine that excitement as Seth is once again trying to win over Laura and her affections...but after unwrapping your gifts you realise nothing is as it seems😭 This book is that in a nutshell❣️

Book three - Tempted to kiss is the next instalment of Seth and Laura’s story and should not be missed❣️Picking up right where the last one finished off and ending with a cliffhanger I definitely did not see coming, I want to get my hands on the fourth book ASAP😇

Book four - Easy to fall, yet hard to love 💕

Wow, an emotional and heart wrenching story to conclude Seth and Laura! I did not want to stop reading this book at all, it completely captivated me which had me devouring it in hours😍

I’m not going to say more than that as it truly is a book you need to experience for yourself but suffice to say...this is the best book of Willow’s in the Merciless world and I’m so excited to find out more about Marcus and his identity....even though I already have one or two ideas😉 One question I still have that I feel wasn’t tied up but I’m hoping it’ll be revealed in Marcus’s story next❣️

Not My Heart to Break contains the four books and prequel that make up the Hard to Love series. While some will say this series can be read without knowing the other details of the Merciless world, I would argue otherwise. I went in without having read the Merciless stories, believing it was possible to enjoy this as a separate series, only to find myself lost for most of the story. When I did wrap my head around things, I was left disappointed because elements were left open to continue the overarching story in the future books.

While part of my rating reflects the fact that this was difficult to enjoy without having read the prior books set in the world, mostly my rating reflects that fact that I was not a fan of the way the story unfolded. There was nothing that really grabbed me, and I never came to care about the characters. There were some interesting elements thrown in throughout, but it was not enough to change the fact that I was indifferent throughout most of the story.

From the high ratings, it is evident that I’m in the minority with this one. Most people loved it, yet I found myself giving the stories in this either a one-star or two-star rating. Clearly, this was not for me.

Just one of the most heartbreaking series ever!! I loved it but this one is not for the faint hearted; by less than the 30% of the book my heart just broke, I was crying, laughing, and putting together my heart once again!

The world where Seth and Laura live is not a fair one; they fell in love while being kids, their love was pure and strong as they could make it; but after everything Laura lost she was not willing to lose Seth, because losing him would be her end, so she did the only thing she thought was right at the moment, not knowing that her actions would only break the love of her life.

Not My Heart to Break is the compilation of the Hard to Love series by Willow Winters, if you ever wanted to read one full series without waiting a second to turn the page and knowing the full story, this one is a winner. Believe me when I tell you this is going to break you and build you stronger with each chapter!!!

Willow did an amazing job on this series! This is the first set of her books that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. This series will take you on an emotional roller coaster that you never want to get off. I absolutely loved the chemistry between Laura and Seth.

Joe and Samantha did an amazing job on the narration. They really know how to bring the story to life.

I loved that Teddy came in on the end for the voice of Marcus to set up the next series in the Merciless World.

I would highly recommend this book if you love romantic suspense.

Willow has done It again and made a beautiful bundle of joy in Not My Heart to Break. This is the Hard to Love Series all together in one which is perfect to read the series all in one place and that cover has to be my most favourite of Willows!

Seth and Laura’s story was the first I’ve read from Willow and the first in the Merciless world and boy what a story it is! Willow doesn’t pull any punches in this series and there are many *gasp* moments, some heart wrenching moments plus some scenes that’s were panty melting!

Willow is an exceptional storyteller, this Merciless world is full of intrigue, twists and turns. Anyone who loves a Mafia romance has to read meet these characters for sure, you will not be disappointed!

I read each of these books and I fell deeper and harder for both these characters. Laura will forever be one of the heroines I can identify with on so many levels, and Seth, wow he’s a hella bad boy with so much swoon. He’s a mafia king in his own right and he wears his bleeding heart on his sleeve!

This series is the perfect binge read, as Willow Winters takes romantic suspense to a whole new level. With each book, each series, her writing supersedes the previous. Not My Heart To Break is a whole new level of phenomenal- it packs all the intensity, chemistry and suspense that Willow delivers with utmost precision. But, it’s the sheer emotional rawness of both these characters that brought me literally to my knees. I felt my heart splinter over and over only to have it priced together again by beautiful poetic words of hope— but hello plot twist— so freakin cruel, but still so beautiful. Everything about this book held me, hostage, from the start to the very end, and even still in the aftermath, I feel so much- 𝐼 𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑓𝑒𝑒𝑙! As far as beginnings go for a journey, Hard to Love was pretty epic. My heart was trippin guys! Like full on palpitations thru the entire read! I was always feeling , sometimes happy sometimes not, but always passionate ! This author is addictive. Her style and voice gripped me. The storyline gripped me. I felt like I was chasing a high at every turn of the page and I could not wait to find out how every little thing would unfold!

As the journey of Laura and Seth continues in Desperate to Touch , the depth of the story blew me away. We were only in book two of a four book journey, so I expected a lot things to happen (maybe?) but the level of depth and growth the author builds with both Laura and Seth and their story is awe-inspiring! I became even more invested in this story. The tangled web of electrifying skeletons, both in their past and in their present, were starting to clash and I felt I was in the eye of the storm as a reader. It has been a really long time since a fictional couple has gripped me this way. Seriously, where has Willow Winters been my whole life?!?!

That takes us to Tempted to Kiss and what I can only describe as a full-on heart attack! #holdme (if you follow me or even just know me, this would be the part where I tell the author to FUCKTHEFUCKOFF mostly because she/he made me feel too much or they just epically blew me out of the water.) I seriously have never been this alive thru a story of this proportion. Four books so far (if you count the prelude, Longing to Hold) and I am still jonesing for more like a thirsty addict! Exhilarating beyond reason with unimaginable plot twist and turns and that will leave you staring into space long after you finish …. #JesusSaveMeFromThisStory

Easy to Fall ... I was equal parts anxious that the story was ending and how it would conclude. The range of emotions that this love story brought out of me was surreal. I felt every page. I didn’t want to stop reading about Seth and Laura’s journey, but I also wanted to read (very badly) how Willow would bring everything together and she killed it !! The suspense and angst of their story was perfectly blended with their love for each other. This was a bittersweet read for me but a read I easily see myself reading again and again. I like the author’s voice and style and I just connected with her writing this year so I’m super stoked to go back to the beginning and read all the interconnected stories she has already done!

I know countless people have said this but since I was one who did not heed the warnings, I’m gonna repeat it for those of you in the back … You’re not ready for this. You’ll never be ready for this. You know nothing. You will feel everything. It’s gonna hurt … in the best possible way. #TRUST

This is where I want to scream.... LOUDLY.
This is what I dread most after reading an amazing book. Trying to word a review to give the book justice, and truly I don’t think there is any words that will.

Willow Winters has the amazing ability to suck you into a plot so deep that you lose time... and Hard To Love did just that.

It’s no secret that Willow is one of my top favourite authors, having only discovered her just over a year ago, she’s become a must read author, an automatic one-click, so it was no surprise to me that I would love this book just like all her others..

This little gem here was jam packed with suspense, heat, passion, lust, mystery and SO MUCH MORE. I love how Willow can lead me into a plot, basically blind and just when I think i’ve come to figure it out, when I have THOUGHT I knew what was happening and what was to come, and BOOM... she throws in some plot twists, twists that kept me on my toes from start to finish, twists that had me wanting to scream, and had me begging for more..I literally devoured this book in one day. I even went as far as going shopping with my kindle in my hand.
I got some weird looks, but it was worth it!!

Seth is EVERYTHING. And when I say everything...
I mean
E. V. E. R. Y. T. H. I. N. G.
He’s bad ass, when he wants something, he will get it at any cost. He’s ruthless, domineering, and puts up with no bullshit! Everything he claims ultimately turns blood and pain.. He’s the definition of the perfect boyfriend in my opinion..

Laura was unique in her own way too.
She was smart, beautiful, and good.. she was everything Seth needed, but knew he shouldn’t want.. he knew he was about to ruin her, he knew he was bad for her, but she became his escape, his way out of this crazy world if only for a moment in time. She was his addiction and he was to selfish to walk away..

Can he walk away? Or will this love go up in flames just like everything else he touches?


Wow, just wow.

I cannot fault these characters in any way. They were perfect for each other, and when I say perfect... I mean Laura was his light in the darkness that is his world. The chemistry between these two was insane, the push and pull was enough to send me crazy and the tension that continued to build as the plot progressed was intense. I couldn’t get enough, I could not put it down!
This is a true Willow Winters book, the darker side of romance with epic twists of passion, lust, want, need, love, hate, and epic suspense! It was highly addictive and definitely a book I’ll be re-reading time and time again.

As always, Willow’s ability to weave her words into an unforgettable, all-consuming and addictive plot blows my fucking mind!

Willow was in her element when it came to Seth and Laura. Seth King? Oh man... I don't even know where to begin with him. As always Willow writes a complex, compelling and hot as hell alpha male. Seth is EVERYTHING. His whole personality is perfect, in every sense of the word... But we see more of him in this book. We see different sides to this man. I mean he was everything and more in Hard To Love, and Desperate to Touch? The author takes him to a whole new level. This book picks up where book 1 left off... Seth is working with the Cross brothers, and he knows Laura is in town, he wants nothing more than to bring her back to him and keep her all for himself. He has issues to work through and has to find forgiveness after what Laura has done, but even without it, he can't live without her and once she is in his grasp once more, his possessive self isn't about to risk losing her again. No fucking way.

Laura is strong, confident and isn't afraid to speak up for herself when need be... and I love that about her... but at times I think it does not work in her favor, and there were times were I just wanted to reach in and slap her and show her what was right in front of her... The fact that they are literally the same person, only opposite genders? That made things even more interesting.

And fuck me, if you thought book one knocked you on your ass, well be aware that book two is about to throw you through the wringer... So much more was happening, questions were being answered, yet, even more, secrets were coming in to play, the more answers I got the more I needed answering.. The sexual chemistry between them only heightens in this... The tension, the push and pull, the game of chase between the two of them just intensifies multiple times over. I swear I was about to snap my kindle in two, while it melted into my hands. SO HOT! But there was so much more,... More secrets, more betray, more hurt and pain, more angst,... JUST MORE. SO MUCH MORE. I was an addict to this book. It was as though as soon as I got my fix, I needed more... And I NEED MORE NOW!

This was captivating, all-consuming, insanely hot, addictive and unpredictable and left me cursing out the author... Oh, I wanted to say a few things to her... But I know whatever she has up her sleeve next will be worth the wait. Ms. Winters went above and beyond with this... I can feel her passion for this book with each word I read. She never disappoints and she didn't disappoint with this bad boy.


𝗧𝗲𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗞𝗶𝘀𝘀

Once again, Willow Winters throws me through a tunnel of emotions and plot twists I didn't see coming.

I'm still reeling from everything that transpired throughout this book. One thing I can say is that this author never disappoints... And as much as I want to curse her out right now, I also want to bow down to her. She is a genius and a master at her craft and she has mastered this world and continues to blow me away with each book that releases.

I was a mess... Especially that ending. It cut like a damn knife and now,... Now we wait... But I know one thing for sure! She will make the wait worth it.



I'm going in for round two, but I knew the moment I closed the book on the first round that I wouldn't be able to keep away... and well to be fair. It was a given I was going in for a second hit when it comes to anything Willow Winters.



Gahh...I honestly don't know where to begin with this. I want to scream but cry, and curl up into a sobbing ball... I was not prepared for what I got. In no way was I. I knew this was going to knee me in the gut but Jesus Christ... the emotions that surround this entire book were pulling hard on my heartstrings.

Tempted to Kiss picks up where Desperate to Touch left off and Seth and Laura are trying to work out where they are going in this relationship, and it seeming to be harder than expected. Nothing about the world they both live in is easy and this relationship isn't about to be either. Seth has started to open up on how he feels about Laura and admit and realizing what his feelings for this girl are and what they mean. Laura is keeping secrets, which could ultimately mean game over for them... Seth is doing what he can to keep Laura, and to keep her from leaving him...


AND THAT ENDING... Yeah, I'm back to that... Ms. Winters, are you trying to kill me?
My heart... My heart is hurting and I don't know how I am meant to be feeling right now...
I did not expect that ending... And I feel like I have been throat and gut-punched so damn hard and this is days after reading it.


𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘆 𝗧𝗼 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹


So we are at the end of Seth and Laura's story and it's bittersweet, gut-wrenching, and tragically beautiful all in one. These two were something and their love story is one that will go down in history for me and one I will continue to go back to.

Willow weaves her magic and paints an epic conclusion that had me on my knees begging for mercy. Begging for more? Begging for something! This series wrecked me beyond belief and I don't think I will ever recover from this emotional love story, but would I have it any other way? HELL NO! Willow Winters is a master at her craft, she writes with perfection and Easy to Fall was nothing less than perfect from the start till the ending scenes. She captivated my heart, she pulled it out of my chest, stomped on it, picked it back up and by the very end, just when I thought my sanity is gone, she pieced it back together ever so slowly, just like she always does.

I want to dive it, but why when experiencing this entire series is so much better.

Sit down, buckle up, and hold on tight you are in for one hell of an emotional ride that you will never be prepared for.

Bravo, Ms. Winters... Yet again you blow me away with your ability to capture my heart and steal it away.

This collection is fantastic! I loved this series and now with all four books in one book, it makes my heart so happy. I devoured each of these books and could not get enough. Seth and Laura are going to be your next obsession! This is one of my absolute favorite Willow Winters collections with such strong characters, a great story, lots of twists and turns and plenty of swoon worthy moments. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

Hard to Love
I can't say enough about Hard to Love by Willow Winters. I love how Willow introduces us to various characters throughout her books and then tells their stories through follow up books. It was fun connecting the dots of what I knew about Seth and Laura from past books, and loved the "AH HA" moments that were revealed through this book. So many questions that were in my head of HOW Seth and Laura knew each other, and WHERE the large sum of money came from that Laura gave Bethany. I felt like a detective making the connections.
Hard to Love was intense. The back and forth of Seth and Laura's banter, stubbornness, strength, love and commitment towards and for each other was heart wrenching. I couldn't get enough of them and I want MORE!!!!! I am a die hard fan of alpha males that can be tamed by a strong, loving woman. That is what Seth and Laura represent in my eyes. It is their love for one another that is admirable, but also the cause for so much struggle, and pain. The battle between what one wants but also of what one needs for survival.
This is by far one of my favorite couples to date by Willow Winters. I can't get enough of Seth and Laura and am desperately waiting for Desperate to Touch to come out.

OMG Willow Winters, OMG!!! Desperate to Touch was everything I expected from Willow Winters and so much more. Laura and Seth's story continues from Hard to Love. Seth and Laura shared a past that set their heart and soul on fire but also brought so much pain and regret. Regret for the decisions and choices they made and how those choices changed them both in the end. Now that they have reconnected, the innocent and carefree love that they once shared is long gone. In its place is longing desperation, and revenge. Seth wants Laura to submit, and feel the loss that he felt the day she walked away from him. He wants to make her his again, but on his terms. Laura knows that she can never stop loving Seth and wanting him, but she struggles to give him complete control and letting go of the guilt she owns for the part she played in it all.
Seth's past haunts him and he knows that the truth is catching up to him. Especially when he starts to encounter messages from Marcus who is always one step ahead and always in the know. So, when he finally reaches his breaking point and he reveals a truth to Laura, what he feared the most comes true. He might just have lost her forever. However, danger is always lurking in the shadows and when Laura is once again threatened Seth is there to save her. Only this time Seth finds himself in the greatest danger of all.

WHAT?!?!?!?!?! Willow Winters once again has shocked me and blown me away! Tempted to Kiss is the continued story of Laura and Seth. They have been through so much in their past that you think, "Hey things can only get better, right?" NOT. Poor Laura has been put through the wringer in this one, and it doesn't look like things are going to get any better for her anytime soon. All she wants is Seth but that means she has to try and forget what Seth has done, which she is willing to do for love. However the things that she has done to survive and the secret she is keeping from Seth might just be end of her. Seth is willing to do whatever it takes to keep Laura from running again. He can't forgive himself for putting her in danger the night he revealed the truth about her father. That is the night that set it all in motion. The night that decisions were made and the consequences following had major repercussions. Seth went through hell to get back to Laura; to the point I sat on pins and needles wondering if you would make it back alive or even in time to save her. Oh did my girl Laura shock me with what she was willing to do and did to survive. Bu it also changed in her in a way no one should have to.
This story had me riding on an emotional rollercoaster. From the suspense, lies, secrets, revenge, power struggle, mystery, need, trust and overall denying love that Seth and Laura have for another, boy am I spent. Oh and that ending?!?! Really Willow? Ugh I want the next book NOW, PLEASE! What I really love about Willow Winters is the passion and depth behind each of her characters and how her readers are engulfed in the story from the very first word to the very last. Always wanting more and never wanting it to end.

Easy to Fall
Easy to Fall is the final book and conclusion to Seth and Laura's love story. They haven't had the easiest life and love together BUT what the bond of their love and souls is one that can not be broken. Even with all that they have been through and continue to endure, instead of breaking them it only makes them stronger. Seth is Laura's person and Laura is Seth's person.

Danger still lurks when Marcus is around. His motives and methods for helping are untraditional but we finally start to get a little glimpse of why he has and is doing what he is doing. Seth is willing to sell his soul to Marcus to save Laura even if it means losing himself. Laura is also willing to do what is necessary to help Seth figure out who Marcus is. In the end will it be Seth and Laura who will have more to lose?

Seth and Laura have become one of my favorite couples of Willow Winter's. The depth and risks that each will do for the other is unbelievable. They have had their highs and their lows and throughout this series they have grown so much. What an emotional ride that this series has put me through, but I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Great ending.... I can not wait to learn more about Marcus in This Love Hurts.

This is one beautiful love story that will have you on the edge of your seat and on a roller coaster of love and its ups and downs! A must read and enjoyable to read again!!
Hard to Love - Wow! This is an amazing start to “Hard To Love" Series about Seth and Laura. Their story takes place prior to Seth working with the Cross brothers. You will not be able to put this book down and be ready as this emotional roller coaster will have you in the edge of your seat until the end! The love Seth and Laura have for one another is just something special and you can feel in the words on the page. Seth takes a stand when Laura drawls the attention of the main mafia man and Seth takes action to protect her. There is major fall out with many losing their fathers and then taking action to run things and keep their town of Tremont safe. Laura was always the good girl, studying and staying out of trouble and Seth was the bad boy who did what was necessary. Once these two share their passion and love for one another do the secrets become to much for Laura. With Seth doing what it takes to get the bar and underground fighting ring up and running there are outside evilness waiting to take him and his men down. Seth will do anything to protect Laura from danger but once those out to prove a point do with Laura’s best friend Cami all bets are off! How does one stay with a broken heart with losing who they are? I am anxiously waiting for the next part of their story! I enjoyed how this story ends even if it’s a cliffhanger. Desperate Touch - This is the 2nd story about Seth and Laura that is an amazing and beautifully written story that continues giving us more details of their journey to finding a way to love one another without the ghost of their past. These two have an undeniable connection that only grows with their story. Seth knows he wants Laura and will make sure she is his and the way Laura stands up to Seth just shows how strong she is which allows Seth to show how hurt he is all these years later due to Laura leaving him the way she did. Seth and Laura walk on egg shells around one another and you can feel their emotions come alive on the pages and when they come together it’s magical. The Cross Brothers give Seth a hard time about his distraction until they realize that Laura is in trouble and Seth does what is necessary to protect her. We have those who are evil out to cause more harm and the whispers about Marcus. We know Marcus is out to cause trouble for the Cross Brothers, their business and personal lives but it has not been revealed why and who he is. There is a small window into who he has cared for over the years so hopefully we get to the bottom of his intentions. We are left on a cliffhanger and I am anxiously waiting for the next story, Tempted To Kiss! Willow is a superb story teller and gets to the end only to leaving you wanting MORE! Tempted to Kiss - This is the 3rd story in this series Hard to Love, I definitely recommend you read Desperate to Touch, Longing to Hold, Hard to Love to understand this book. As with any GREAT series by Willow you will be on an unforgettable emotional roller coaster with twists and turns you’ll never expect and your heart and soul will be touched each time. This story does not fail and one I am so deeply touched by. To say Seth and Laura have had a hard struggle in their relationship is an understatement. They have loved as young adults and Laura walks away to Seth finding her years later. Laura is now keeping secrets from Seth that is a game changer for each of them and Seth is at his limit with the fear Laura will leave him again. They both struggle to navigate and support one another as there is a genuine love but all the outside evils seem to creep into their lives. Seth knows he needs to open up more to Laura and he does but the ending in this story is one you will feel in your chest and leaving you feeling hollow! Easy to Fall - I must say this is the final book in the Hard To Love Series and what a beautifully written story with a perfect ending to Laura and Seth’s journey. This is definitely one series that I will enjoy reading again form one book to the next! Laura has her secrets and Seth does what he can to keep Laura by his side as she has said it takes more than love. Seth does what he can to protect Laura and the Cross brothers understand and do their best to keep them both safe. With the shocking ending from Laura in book three Seth is left to figure it how to handle saving their relationship and much more. Willow gives us a heartfelt love story that will bring tears and sadness throughout their story and then the end is the end! This is one of a kind couple.
