Then Came You

Rate this book
You met them in DREAM A LITTLE DREAM OF ME. Now prepare to fall in love with THE YOUNGERS, a brand-new series from Iris Morland, full of sexy men, passionate women, and the love stories you can't get enough of.

BOOK DESCRIPTION:
After witnessing his parents’ doomed love affair, serial playboy Ash Younger decided long ago that love was not meant for him. With his charm and good looks, he’s never lacked for beautiful women. He may push numbers as an accountant by day, but by night, he’s only interested in having a woman in his bed.

Yet the night he encounters a mysterious—and gorgeous—widow who doesn’t immediately fall under his seductive spell, Ash realizes he wants her more than he’s ever wanted another woman.

Following the loss of her husband two years ago, Violet Fielding wants to focus on two things: her jewelry business and beginning her life anew in the small town of Fair Haven, Washington. She doesn’t have time for men or romance, and she certainly doesn’t have time for a man who’s a well-known playboy and younger than her.

Violet already found the love of her life in her husband, and after his death, she knew she could never love anyone again.

But when Ash kisses her, all of her plans and promises are turned upside down. A passion stronger than either Ash or Violet could imagine envelops them both one night—and that night changes everything.

As old heartbreaks threaten to tear the couple apart, both must find the courage to see that, of all things, love is worth a second chance.

Heartwarming, sweetly thrilling and emotionally engaging romantic journey for two people with heartbreaking pasts to overcome.

Violet Fielding lost her husband and move to this small town to live with her mother-in-law. Ash Younger is a care free spirit and good time guy hiding a sad past and not looking for forever. Despite their best efforts the unexpected happens. Highly entertaining, emotional and uplifting story, would recommend to any romance lover.

Then Came You was a very sweet read. The slow burn chemistry between Violet & Ash was beautifully paced.

Ash is a good guy who is a love ‘em & leave ‘em type of guy. Violet is a widow who is having a hard time moving on from the death of her husband. Ash is confused by his lingering feelings for Violet after they have an explosive night together. Especially since she had sneaked out of his bed the next morning. Could this mean that Violet is the one that will be able to break through the barriers that he erected because of his hurt-filled past?

Violet is also trying to come to grips with a past that she cannot let go of. When her husband died, she lost her best friend and the love of her life. But there was also a mystery about her husband that came to light that she has a hard time coming to grips with. With Ash’s help, can he help her heal? Will she let him be there for her as she wants to be there for him?

This was a sweet book, filled with real life struggles that are sometimes missing in other books. I loved the way the author dealt with the challenges these characters went through and how she was able to help them figure out how to move past them. The angst was subtle, but real. The love was there, but not overwhelming. It was steady as a heartbeat and I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

This was a sweet read.
Going in, I was unaware that The Youngers Series takes place in the same small town as the earlier series, The Thorntons, and that these two series are interconnected in the Love Everlasting universe. I have not read any of The Thorntons stories, and I was a smidge confused by the number of character names thrown out in the beginning of this book. Fortunately, after chapter three none of that made a difference.
I found this story sort of "fluffy" and I'll admit that this disappointed me. There are some heavy topics in this story, but I was never totally drawn into any of it. These issues should have broken my heart, but even the characters were sort of blasé about them most of the time.
All in all, the story was sweet, and ultimately uplifting.

This is the first book in a new series, The Youngers and is my first read of this author.

After losing her husband over two years ago, Violet went to live with her mother in law and nothing has changed since. She is still mourning her husband and has not moved on with her life despite the pushing of her mother in law. Finally succumbing to the pushing, Violet goes to a singles night at a local bar, however the man who peaks her interested is not part of the singles night. He is also younger than her.

Ash is at his family owned bar to celebrate his niece’s birthday. When he eyes the beauty at the bar he takes a chance at chatting her up but finds she is not an easy target like his usual conquests are. With a bit of gentle persuasion from Ash the pair take a tentative step in getting to know each other but Violet has walls so high, it seems an impossible task to penetrate those walls.

Apparently The Youngers is a series within a series and at the start of the book all the names and connections of other characters in other series were thrown in. I found this very confusing and hard to understand who was who and why they were relevant to this story. As a standalone it was not required for the reader to know all the other characters that had come before as they didn’t add anything to this story.

The romance was a slow burn and a little frustrating in parts, especially with Violet and her reluctance to even give Ash a chance, I just couldn’t understand her reasoning. Overall though it was a nice storyline (without the added complications of other books’ characters) but I would have liked a longer ending. Three and a half stars.

This book is a part of the LOVE EVERLASTING series, which is one large series following multiple families and friends. Each book can be read as a standalone (unless otherwise noted), or they can be read in order of publication as one long series. Each book is interconnected, with many of the same characters showing up in multiple books.

Violet Fielding moved to Fair Haven two years after the death of her husband William to take care of her mother in law. Still grieving for her husband her mother in law convinces her to go out to a singles night. At the Fainting Goat bar she spots Ash Younger attending his nieces birthday party and they are instantly attracted to each other. I love how Violet and Ash work through their relationship with dealing with grief and trust issues. Iris Morland has the ability to write a wonderful story that you become emotionally involved with the characters of the story. I highly recommend reading it and you will enjoy becoming involved with Violet and Ash story.

2.5 star book for me. I listened to the audiobook and the narrators did a good job. I liked Ash but I wasn't a fan of the Violet's storyline because no matter what happened it always came back to the same thing thru the whole book until the very end.

A well written but sad romance, this novel speaks of two wounded people who have the ability to bring healing to each other, provided they can climb over the stumbling blocks in their paths. Violet is still grieving her husband, but when secrets emerge she is devastated to realise that he wasn’t the man she thought he was. Ash on the other hand, saw his parent’s destructive marriage and has sworn off long term relationships on a permanent basis. That is, of course, until he meets up with Violet at his brother’s bar. The attraction is instant and despite their inner vows, they find themselves attracted to one another. Ash is a “fixer” and he has a history of broken relationships where his fixing has injured and insulted people. He hasn’t learned his lesson, and when he goes behind Violet’s back to fix her situation, he is shocked when she walks out on him. Both Ash and Violet have to take a new look at their relationship and decide whether there is something worth salvaging. I enjoyed all the characters in this book and despite Ash’s managing ways I thought him a delightful hero. Violet is a sweet heroine, and even though she has had to take some really hard knocks, remains a gentle and caring person. This book is part of a series, but is nevertheless a standalone with a cheerful ending. I received a copy of this book from Booksprout and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Violet and Ash are finding that in each other they have found the pieces they didn't even know they were looking for. Violet has taken everyday of the last 2 years one day at a time. Losing the love of one's life is world altering and she has been trying her hardest to live in the wake. But with a mountain of debt looming things are starting to crumble in on her. Everyone in her life is also encouraging her to try and spread her wings a little as well and that is just what leads her straight into Ash Youngers arms. Ash likes his carefree approach to woman. No expectations or plans - meaning no one should get hurt, just good old fashioned fun. He saw first hand as a kid the destructive power of love and marriage, so he is all set with that holy institution. When Violet blows his mind in every conceivable way with her brains and beauty, he is instantly hooked. For the first time, Ash Younger feels the need to chase after a woman - but Violet is not sure she wants to be caught!

Then Came You, is a wonderful start to this new series, The Youngers. If you have read the awesome series, The Thorntons,
you have already meet the oldest brother, Trent. It's a touching story about
Ash & Violet. Ash loves women, just not commitment. He unfortunately has had
a bad example of love, & marriage.
Violet is new to Fair Haven. Her husband died two years ago. Violet has moved in with Mother-in-law, to care for her.
Martha tells her it's time to go out & have fun, meet a man. Violet finally agrees.
She ends up at Fainting Goat, for a meet & greet. Ash & Violet, see each across the crowded restaurant. He joins her at the bar. As they spend time getting to
know each other, their connection is undeniable. But, is Violet ready to find
love again. Or, is Ash willing to give love
a chance. I loved their story, & really
enjoyed reading it!!
A MUST READ FOR EVERYONE!!!

Life and love are hardly ever what we imagine they will be. When two lonely people meet they put one another on a path that will lead to love if they're open to it. But if they're not, they'll be stuck forever in isolation without the freedom and peace that comes from truly fulfilling love. Both Ash and Violet will have to decide if their pride is more important than happiness and their hearts.

From the very start of the story I was drawn to Ash and his carefree cockiness that hid something sweet and vulnerable. I loved Violet's sass and inner strength. Their first interaction was exciting, funny, and engaging. Once things heat up it's clear that their passion was going to be intense and life-changing for them. Their personalities had the potential to be a great match for one another and I was looking forward to watching them grow closer and struggle to make their connection last.

And struggle they did. Unfortunately, I found the couple quite impulsive and reactionary. Each of these characters also spend a lot of time in their own heads which exacerbates their issues with one another. Despite the lives they've lived I found them both a bit immature. And while I can absolutely understand where each of them are coming from, I'm a bit more on Ash's side of things. I value honesty so very highly that I was disappointed in Violet when she got so very upset for Ash showing her the truth of things.

Following on the heels of my disappointment in Violet came the disappointment in Ash for being so caustic toward Violet's deceased husband. Seeing the financial discrepancies but not trying to dig deep enough or offer Violet support in finding where the money actually went was petty and I thought he was better than that. The way he was so negative about William was difficult to swallow. I had my own hard feelings for William when we hear how unsupportive he seemed regarding Violets' business and her money management, but we're only getting one side of things.

Well, one side and then a biased third person who's trying to show he's better than her dead husband instead of just doing his best to prove he's the best for her here now and for her future. I would have felt a lot better about Ash if he hadn't been so biased and intolerant toward William and then for him to throw it in Violet's face was the epitome of uncool.

Violet seemed to enjoy guilt, blame, and being a martyr. I mean, it's not like anyone will actually admit to liking those things, but I believe it's what we keep close and choose to hold on to that shows what we enjoy above all others. In Violet's case she seemed to want to take responsibility for the actions of other adults just because of her loneliness and guilt. She refused to see another side of things, refused to see that her mother-in-law chose to do what she did, that William reacted just as badly as she did. That attitude grew tiresome very, very quickly.

And even though all that ranting and criticism makes it seem like I viewed this story less-than favorably, I actually liked the story. There was an overwhelming sense of redemption, healing, and forgiveness throughout the entire story. We're not all rational humans all the time and we all react badly when we're hurt or backed into a corner. We take the emotional cues from those around us that are important to us. We often emulate those examples even when those role models are actually horrible warnings and sometimes it's to our detriment.

Ash struggled watching his parents' twisted version of love, he can't seem to make what he sees in Trent's relationship with Lizzie or her sibling's romances comparable to something for himself. Even the errors of his own history don't sink in until he's faced with losing Violet. He gets a chance to make things right for them and fully embraces who and what he is and what he can be.

Violet suffers under an immense weight from grief. What she saw of her marriage was wonderful, soul-altering, a once-in-a-lifetime love. But when what she knew, what she felt, all comes to a crashing halt she's unable to move on. Helping her mother-in-law gives her purpose but her ostrich impression isn't doing anyone any good. It isn't until a young, confident, incredibly sexy man sets his sights on her that she sees something more for her future. If she can't shed her grief in favor of her future, if she can't make her pride make peace with humility, then her only future is a stagnant, lonely, bankrupt one.

Together they had immense potential and fell short at times. Ultimately though, they were real people who struggled and weren't perfect. They were the kind of people we can truly feel for because we can relate to their feelings and imperfections in a way that is unique in a romance novel. These two damaged, sad people had so much to offer one another and my frustrations weren't strong enough to discount the fact that this book was moving, the writing was so effective that I was made to feel for and about the characters. I'm looking forward to more from The Youngers with Thea's book, Taking a Chance on Love.

Willingly read and reviewed this ARC from the author.

Love heals

This kind of May-December love stories are admirable to me. Plus the down to the earth character, kiindess and simplicity of Violet got to men in the end, Ash realized what love means and he loved deep. Good one Iris!

Readers will find themselves drooling over the near-perfect hero in this small town romance of a widowed woman struggling to start over and the guilt holding her back from the HEA he tempts her with. From the first page to the last readers will be taken on a rollercoaster ride of emotions that will take you from blushing to feeling warm fuzzies to feeling frustrated by the heroine’s actions. By the turn of the final page though you’ll be left satisfied yet ready for more!

Ash Younger’s footloose and fancy-free, happy to be living the single life in a town where he’s well-known for being a player. The night he sees the captivating new girl in town though his life changes irrevocably as he begins feeling things he’s never felt before. Before long he finds himself fully immersed in her life as he forces her to hear painful truths that could end their relationship before it’s barely begun. Ash is a delicious hero, confident and flirtatious who oozes sensuality whenever he’s around a female. He finds Violet a challenge at first and makes it his mission to win her over in a burgeoning romance that started off fun and flirty before becoming more erotically-charged the closer they got to each other. Ash may seem superficial early on, caring only about instant gratification, but as the story progressed we saw a more mature side of him that had him putting his heart on the line in subtle and bold ways that endeared him to me.

Violet Fielding lost her husband two years ago in an accident that she still feels guilt over. She’s been punishing herself ever since, living a life of loneliness while being caretaker to her mother-in-law. After much goading she finally gives in and meets a man that turns her life upside down. From the moment she meets Ash she’s attracted to him, but recognizes him as a player, and takes him on a merry chase as each tries to verbally outmaneuver the other. When the temptations become too much though she finds herself giving into the erotically-charged banter that quickly becomes more romantic. She always thought she and her husband were happy but being with Ash has her discovering what true love is as well as some painful truths about her dead husband’s actions. Her reactions to these truths frustrated me immensely and had me wanting to shake some sense into her. I was further frustrated by her reaction to Ash’s help as her anger was unwarranted as were her quick assumptions. She pushed her chance at HEA away to continue wallowing in self-imposed guilt, guilt for someone who clearly didn’t deserve it despite her trying to justify it. While I liked Violet early on I became increasingly frustrated with her and it wasn’t until late in the story that I was once again on her side.

This was a satisfying romance on a whole with a decadently delightful hero who pulled at my heartstrings while making me blush from his naughty talk. Ash’s sexiness quickly turned to charm as he set out to win Violet in increasingly romantic ways until a grand gesture that completely won me over. Violet too evolved through this story, but not always for the better as she often left me frustrated in the latter half of the story. Despite my issues with her I still found them to be a crackling couple with witty banter and interactions that oozed sexual tension in a romance that became more about the heart and soul. Surrounding this likable main couple was a cast of secondary characters, some whose stories have already been told as well as those with stories yet to come. One of those characters is Ash’s sister Thea, a wild child who longs to find herself. She’s a feisty heroine who tells it like it is, and with a compelling epilogue laying the groundwork for her romance with a man who’s her opposite in every way, I’m breathlessly awaiting the next book in this series!

That first kiss....Hot and romantic.

Then came you is a hot and sweet romance with witty comedic lines to relieve the sexual tension between Violet and Ash. Iris Moreland is a new-to-me author, and I really enjoyed her book, especially the first kiss scene, *fans oneself.* Hell, it not only rocked Ash’s world, but mine as well!
Violet is a 33 year old Jewellery Designer with her own business, and she has recently moved town to be with her Martha, her mother-in-law, to help with Martha’s health. Since she lost the love of her life to a car accident two years ago, not only was she devastated, but it was William who had done her accounting. Since his death, they’ve gone rapidly out of control, and she is hugely in debt.

Strongly encouraged/signed up to attend a singles meet and greet at a local bar by her feisty mother-in-law, Violet sees a gorgeous man with striking berry coloured hair across the bar. He’s in a different group, celebrating the birthday of his young niece.

Rescuing Violet from a terminally dull man during the singles meet and greet, Ash Younger was struck by her beauty. Violet is certainly attracted to him on a level that shocks her, but he will also be the first man who has attracted her since she married William straight out of college, and she initially blows him off. Ash is not exactly the hit-it-and-quit-it type, but he certainly doesn’t like to hang around much after an evening with a woman. So, when Violet sets out to actively avoid him after their night together, he can’t believe that he’s more than a little put out! He also can’t believe is how hard he is working to see her, and ends up checking the accounts of her business when he overhears how bad they are. What he find out about William’s accounting, shocks and angers him.

The secondary characters round out the first book in this family series perfectly, and lead you nicely into what will be another standalone book on the next family member. Characters from a previous series feature, but even with this being the first book of Ms Moreland’s that I have read, it is a complete story in itself, and even though I want to check out her other books, I certainly was not left confused as to who they were.

Then Came You is a beautiful book about over coming loss, your childhood experiences, and the thing that defines my life as a mother to my children - realising that you are not your parents. Another key thing for me in this book is something my mother did say many times to me, “Don’t let anyone you love leave when you’re angry with them. You never know, it might be the last time you see them.” Highly recommended read. 4 Stars.

Too blind to see

Firstly, my ebook was faulty. I have never previously experienced an ebook that says "downloading now" at the beginning (and sometimes the end) of every chapter. It never finished downloading. It was a free book so I read it anyway, because the story was very interesting and I was able to figure out what was happening most of the way, except for the end of the story. That was very bad!
It merged into a peep into Thea's story, which looks like great fun.
Getting back to my book, I thoroughly enjoyed what I could read. It is a really good story, nicely written, about a widow, still grieving two years after her husband's crash which caused his death, when she meets a very attractive man at a singles evening her mother-in-law persuaded her to attend. She had moved to her mil's just 2 weeks earlier to help care for her since she was diabetic.
He is there because his brother owns the restaurant and his family is celebrating his 2-year old niece's 2nd birthday.

The attraction is mutual. Sadly, both of them have plenty of baggage, some of which he starts to uncover when he offers to do the books of her jewelry business after witnessing a summons being handed to her for non-payment.
He is an accountant with close, loving siblings, but a past where their mother took her own life and his dad was a very mean drunk. As he goes through her books, he realises her husband was stealing from her while running her jewelry business down. Her business is in financial trouble. He takes out a loan to help her out, but she reacts very badly to that, seeing him as controlling and not consulting her first. His kind intent is seen by her as disrespect for her business acumen. While they both struggle with these matters, their mutual attraction is off the charts. A lovely love story!

Then Came You
by Iris Moreland
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I loved this book..Iris Moreland is the best! Violet Fielding has spent the last two years mourning her husband William's death and feeling guilty about the possibility of moving on, she's only 33. She lives with her mother-in-law Martha and spends her time making jewelry for her business. When Iris is out at a bar, which is completely unusual for her, she meets 27 year old Ash Younger. He's usually a hit it and quit it kind of guy, but Iris peeks his attention like no other. She turns the tables on him though and doesn't see him for a month, until she accidentally runs into him at jewelry show...and he will not let her get away again! These two characters are wonderful together, but Iris still has issues to be taken care of. It's frustrating her inability to move on with someone who clearly wants her. I feel Ash is to die for, he's not only great looking and intelligent, but he understands Iris's pushing him away. He understands, but doesn't like it. Ash realizes where Iris is coming from and tries to never push her. What these two go through in their relatively short time together is very enjoyable and engaging. You just want them to finally be able to have a life like Ash never knew he wanted. Ms. Moreland gives these characters warmth and feeling. Thoroughly wonderful!

Violet is a 33 year old widow that makes jewelry for a living and is in dire financial circumstances. Violet also never gets out her only entertainment is hanging with her roommate whom is a older lady her mother in law.

Ash the hero of this story is 28 years old, which makes him younger than the heroine, never wants to settle down. Once he's done with a lady that is it. He is funny has good looks and most females like him, but Violet is on to him. She is also hesitant towards him she knows he is only out for a good time and she has not had a relationship since her deceased husband.
Ash is sort of sweet and a child at heart on their sort of first date he brought her to a playground.

Violet described Ash as a man who kissed like the devil 😈and had the smile of an angel.😇 Ash and Violets relationship is a difficult one she lets him in only to push him away thinking she is betraying her husband in some way, but Ash doesn't give up on her. He even decides to help her with her books for her jewelry business. All the struggles and heartache Ash was there for her even when she found out her beloved deceased husband may not have been whom she thought he was.

This story really pulled all my heartstrings. This was truly a beautiful story and makes you believe their really is true love out there.

Ash is a man who portrays the image of not believing in love. He had a childhood that was horrible and no one should have to live through, so he always enjoys a woman's company once and lets them go. When he meets Violet in his brothers bar, he is drawn to her. I
Violet is a widow who has been living with the regret and guilt of how her last conversation with her deceased husband ended. She is taking care of her mother-in-law, running her own struggling business, and is in denial that she needs to start moving forward in her life. When she first sees Ash, she is drawn to him and moved fast, then regrets it because she feels like she us being disloyal.
There were some twists and turns, which I figured out before they were revealed, but they kept the story interesting. Learning how to rely on someone again was hard for Violet, and I wasn't sure if she would be able to open up and let go.
I liked the chemistry between the characters. When he took control of a situation, I knew the underlying reasons, but also knew that it would blow up in his face. I also understood her feelings, but felt that she over reacted for too long. Can he admit that he over-stepped and can she admit that he over reacted? Can they find what they both need to be happy together

Violet Fielding moved to Fair Haven, Washington to help her mother in law of her deceased husband. It has been two years since he was killed in a car crash and she has not gone out with anyone. Her mother in law encourages her to go to a singles event at the Fainting Goat. She meets Ash Younger who is a known player in town, but she doesn’t fall for his lines. This makes Ash more interested in her.

I loved that this first book continues in the same town from the Thornton’s series. It is always fun to see players fall in love and what they go through. Ash had made fun of his older brother Trent when he got together with Lizzie Thornton. Now Ash is getting pay back. Poor Violet is having problems with her jewelry business that was a problem between her deceased husband and her. It is so funny how men always want to solve problems without talking to a women. Women do not always want their problems solved, especially when they are stubborn! I loved this romance story and can’t wait until the next one. I strongly encourage you to read the book. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.

I received the ARC of this book in exchange for my review from Hidden Gems. This is the second book by this author that I received in the ARC program. Since the other book I received was Dream a Little Dream which introduced the Younger family, this book just felt like a continuation of the previous characters. As with any of these family series, you do not necessarily need to read the prior books, it just gives you a better picture the background for the next story.

This book had great characters that continued from the Thorton's series but was focused on Ash and Violet. They meet and the attraction is instant on both sides yet each of them have issues they think will prevent a future. It showed the challenges of recovering from childhood trauma and grief. My feeling is that this might have been examined a bit more. Yet I liked the idea that Ash had these issues previously but it took the right woman for him to understand how to handle them.

Overall, it was a good romance with interesting characters and setting. The more I read this author the more of her I want to read other books by her. I think this series will be as good as the previous Thortons series.

This is another wonderful author that was recommended on Facebook. I enjoyed Then Came You so much I purchased some of the other romances. This is a stand alone with a happy ending at the end of the story but it does have other characters that fade in and out of the story line.

Our heroine is a widow, who lost her husband in an auto accident two years ago. Deciding to make a fresh start she moves to the small town her mother in law lives , to take care of the woman who is like a second mom to her. She scrapes by making a living on jewelry she designs and sells. Our hero is a CPA who also has a reputation of being a bit of a player. They meet at a bar/family restaurant, where our heroine is showing a group of ladies her jewelry line. They make eye contact, now if you want the rest of the story you will have to read the book. I highly recommend this story....The characters are well developed and the story line is great. Sensual level I would give a sizzling hot 7 out of ten.....I know it is just one book but I have a feeling Iris Morland will become another favorite author for me...….

Jewellery Designer Violet Fielding hasn't looked at a man since her husband William died 2 years ago ... until she sees the handsome Ash at a bar, and he catches her staring at him. Playboy accountant Ash Younger has never been turned down by a woman, until he meets the beautiful Violet. Ash isn't one to give up and after a fun time together, takes Violet home. The next day, Violet knew she'd made a mistake and avoids running into Ash which isn't easy in a small town. Ash hasn't been able to stop thinking about Violet and when he runs into her, talks her into a date. The more time that Violet and Ash spend together, the more the spark between them grows and Ash talks Violet into dating him. Ash soon realises that he loves Violet, but Violet is afraid to love and lose again. Will Ash be able to convince Violet to take a chance at forever with him?

Iris Morland delivers a fun, charming and steamy story that will appeal to the romantics at heart

I loved the books about the Thortons and was not disappointed when with this book about the Youngers. Trent's brother is a love 'em and leave 'em kind of guy. After watching his parents he does not believe that love is for him or that he wants that kind of relationship were the other person can hurt you to the bone.
Violet is trying to get over loosing her husband and trying to save her company. You can feel her anguish about her husband when she speaks but you can also feel that part of her that wants to live again.
When these two meet chemistry is there but she feels guilty looking at another man and he can't believe he found someone who said No to him or that he can't get off his mind.
You'll understand Ash's need to fix things and believe he always knows what's best because of his upbringing and his ability to fix that. As these two deal with the demons in their past they begin to see that there can be a future. One they never thought they would have found.
I can't wait for the next book. Which sibling will it be?
I was given this book for an honest voluntary review.

This is the first book in Iris Morland's new Younger series. I really enjoyed meeting the large Younger family and I look forward to more books in the series. This book focused on Violet Fielding and Ash Younger. I really liked these two main characters. Their relationship and feelings are very real and believable the way Iris Morland has written their story. Violet is a young widow struggling with making ends meet with her jewelry business. She also is trying to get over the guilt she feels for how her husband died. She wants to start dating again but is not quite ready to let go of her dead husband. Ash never believed in falling in love. He is struggling with his parent's relationship and his mom's suicide. When Ash and Violet first meet the sparks begin to fly. I think this is one of Iris Morland's best books! I received an advance copy and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

**I requested and received an advanced copy of this book and this is my unbiased, honest review**

From the very beginning I was wrapped up in this book. I fell in love with the writing, the characters, the scenery, the storyline, just all of it. Before I knew it, it was a few hours and several chapters later and my family was complaining about wanting dinner! I was so enthralled in the story, time completely got away from me.

This is a wonderful, well-written romance between two people who one never thought she would find love again after the loss of her husband and the other who never thought he would ever love due to his destructive parents. There is heartbreak and healing, revelations and hurt, letting go and moving forward with life, but most present is undeniable chemistry and lust which turns into a beautiful relationship. I think one of my favorite scenes is when Ash takes Violet to the park that first night.

I can’t wait for more in this new series!

Then came You by Iris Morland was a great love story, the story caught me from the very beginning. It is a story of two people both dealing with some heartbreak in their past and now when they meet each other there is an instant attraction. These were some really great characters. Violet lost her husband in an auto accident, now she lives with her mother-in-law to help take care of her while running her jewelry business. Ash is a love them and leave them kind of guy he doesn’t believe in love, after witnessing how not to love from his parents. One night while out at a local bar he see her and boy is this where you are really drawn into this fantastic book. There are some ups and downs that just keeps you intrigued and wanting more. I highly recommend this fantastic story if you love a true romance with some steam this is definitely the story for you. I voluntarily reviewed a advance reading copy.
