Rate this book
Maggie Lane is a professional Wing Woman. It is her job to teach men how to attract the woman of their dreams. Her goal is to give men the tools to create lasting memories, and she is very good at it. One day, after a mind-blowing one-night stand rocks her to her core, her best friend hires Maggie to teach her shy, older brother. The problem? Maggie hadn’t seen him in years, so imagine her surprise when she discovers that her best friend’s brother is the man she had the one-night stand with. Can Maggie overcome her personal feelings and help him find the perfect woman?

James is fit, good looking, and financially stable. He also has difficulty speaking to women. The thought of engaging with them in conversation makes him want to dive off the nearest cliff. He wants more out of life but isn’t sure how to get it. One night, after a couple of drinks, he decides to take a chance and approach the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen. She takes control and gives him the wildest night of his life. The problem? She’s his younger sister’s best friend. Now she wants to help him find the woman of his dreams, even though he thinks he’s already found her. Can James find a way to tell her how he feels before it’s too late, or will his fear cause him to settle for someone else?

***Warning - Wing Woman is a standalone, and is book one in the forthcoming The Ladies of Orias series. This book contains strong sexual content, language, and a brief mention of cheating. It should only be read by mature audiences***

This is my first book by this author. I did enjoy this book and it won't be my last by Lawrence Hall. What a original concept of a wing woman. I have read books on match making but this was the first wing woman. If I could I would have gave this book 4.5 stars. I have to be honest they were parts that I felt like it dragged.

I wish we knew more about Maggie and James past relationships. Plus it was just mentioned in one sentence about James parents died. Why couldn't he see Bella wanted to marry him now for his money.

Maggie have always wanted James. Unfortunately he's her best friend brother. That will be breaking girl code. She will never want to upset her best friend and wreck their friendship. James always thought Maggie didn't like him because of his age. James is a hot guy but so shy. He never knew how to talk to a woman. So his sister hired her best friend to help him out. Maggie never thought ne needed some help too. It's cute to see them learn and grow in their relationship.

Strong Female

This is my first book I have read by Lawrence Hall and I truly enjoyed it.
The main Character Maggie was a very strong woman. She was a no nonsense type of girl and I loved her for it. Her business is teaching men to have confidence and go up to the woman they think is unattainable and get to know them, draw them in, respect them and think of them more than just as something to just have sex with.
In comes her best friend's brother, James, whom she hasn't seen for years. Also come to find out it was the man she had the most amazing one night stand with the night before not realizing who he was.
Throughout this book the romance is a slow burn romance but ones that gets all the feels in your body that you know they have to get together. There back and forth banter is great. There are also some great parts that make you laugh.
This is truly a great slow burn romance with some comedy.

This was not just another boy meets girl and fall madly in love with each other. I loved the banter between James and Maggie. They are not your normal couple. This book was a real page turner. It kept me engaged along with kept me laughing and routing for the couple. It has been a long time since I've read a book where I was so invested in the story that I couldn't put the book down. I don't want to give away any details about the story, but I all I want to say is Maggie is very good at her job as a Wing Women until James walks into her life. This book is for anyone that is loves a good romantic comedy with strong characters. I would recommend it to anyone.

This was a great refreshing read. For me reading about a wingwoman was novel to me. Maggie runs a business where she coached shy and socially anxious men on how to work up the courage to take to woman. I loved this take on it, so refreshing to have the strong female lead, yet not emasculating James or other male characters. Once again there’s a plethora of one liners and banter that kept me chuckling and turning the page with the will they won’t they.
Overall a quick, light and refreshing read.

Right from the beginning this intrigued me with how Maggie takes control of the situation and I was left smiling from that first encounter. I love the friendships she has and the chemistry between her and James is explosive. It does take them a while to admit and realize their feelings but that's also what makes it fun. There is a back and forth and sometimes it also made you want to slap both of them. I couldn't put this down.

This book was wonderfully written, filled with banter, humor, drama, and chemistry. A fantastic read and one I highly recommend.

Wing Woman by Lawrence Hall is a quick and fun read. Maggie is a strong woman who thinks she has it all figured out when it comes to love. James, on the other hand, knows he’s a hot mess who has nothing figured out when it comes to love. The romance with James takes her by surprise on top of that James us her best friend’s brother (DRAMA 😱😱😱)— Maggie has to decide if she can come clean and claim the love she deserves. Sweet, sassy, and steamy 🧖‍♀️ 🧖‍♂️ .

This is the first time I am reading this author's work and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved the strong female character, Maggie Lane and James who had difficulty speaking to women but knew whom he wanted. I loved seeing James grown into a stronger person. The supporting characters really add color to the story. This captivating story has fun banter, drama, and a beautiful romance. I could not put it down. I look forward to reading more of this author's work.

I really enjoyed this book. It’s one of my favorites from Lawrence so far. Maggie’s business is to help men get confident in themselves when looking for the right woman and how to approach her. James is a successful business man and Maggie’s best friend brother. They have a great connection and hot chemistry. This is a great and unique (at least to me) story and I love how it’s written. Highly recommend it.

Wing Woman was my first read by Lawrence Hall. It won't be my last. This story was a fantastic feel-good read. I loved Maggie's determination and fiery personality. James is the swoon-worthy, bold hero. These two had it "bad" for each other and the reader has the pleasure to follow their story at a well-written pace.

Wing Woman

I liked Wing Woman. It was different, funny, and the characters were great. Having a woman trying to help men with the way they should approach a female and how to act was pretty good. The lines they use are getting old and don’t go anywhere. It was a nice read. ❤️

Great Book

I wasn't sure what to expect when I started reading. I was hooked from the first chapter. I laughed and held my breath a few times. Maggie is awesome and one smart woman. I don't want to give anything away, there is a HEA and a definite must read.

Unique concept, dull story

This book was just ok. The concept seemed interesting, if a bit sexist, but I just couldn't get into the characters or story, ended up skimming a lot of it.

Well....

I loved this book. I was skeptical at first but the more I read the more I loved. The two Main characters in this book are just adorable. In a good way. In an enticing way. A pull you into the story way. Def recommend.

Entertaining with a few twists!

Fun, entertaining read with a couple surprise twists that I definitely did not see coming.

By the way… Only Lawrence can write a book and mention Lawrence (a couple times). Join his FB group and you’ll get it.

Such an enjoyable book!

I loved James. It can get a bit boring at times always reading about the arrogant, cocky alpha male. So it was refreshing to read about a handsome, successful, yet unsure, introvert. The instant chemistry between James and Maggie was explosive. And Crystal is a hoot!

Wing Woman is a fun read and I think I'm really going to enjoy the new Women of Orias series! Maggie is a professional "Wing Woman". She helps guys get dates through hand on lessons. She is the proverbial "those that can't do, teach". She can't be bothered to date herself, so she puts all of her time and effort into helping other people find their happily ever afters. James is a successful in business, not in personal life, sort of guy. He also happens to be the brother of Maggie's best friend, Crystal. I absolutely adored Crystal, she was a no nonsense, tell it like it is great BFF for Maggie. Their banter was hilarious. I hope that she'll get her own book in the future!

Another fantastic read by Lawrence Hall. In this romantic comedy Maggie's occupation is a Wing Woman. She instructs her male clients on ways to attract women. James is shy and his sister hires Maggie to help him attract women. The book is a slow-burn that I found refreshing. I really enjoyed the characters and found them well-developed. There were times I wanted to shake some sense into James and Maggie. I liked the push-and-pull between the two. I really enjoyed this book and looking forward to the next installment.
