*I received a free copy from the author for an honest review*

This one was as good as the others. I am still more addicted to the series and I can't wait for the next book.

The story was well written and it flowed without any hindrance except for the start. The change of point of view was a bit tough to get used to at first but then it felt natural as the tale progressed. I had been totally looking forward to Gabbi's POV for a while now. And I can say that the author has done justice to her story. Gabbi is one such character who won't appeal to everyone. Her story turned out as engrossing as I expected. But there were few scenes where Gabbi turned me off with her behaviour. It was all expected. She was meant to be hard and it all added to the complexity to the tale. All other characters, old and new, were portrayed well. They added layers to the already complex and intrinsic plot. The plot progressed at a very fast pace in certain situations while few others went a bit slow for me.

It never failed to tug on my heartstrings with the various emotions experienced while reading it. And that makes a great book in my opinion.

So I can't recommend it enough to those who love dystopia genre with this vibrant continuation.

Infestation by Jamie Thornton is a book about a new kind of zombie. A plague that has taken over the city, and possibly the world. Four kinds of people now exist. The V’s, infected and vicious attacking everything. Faints, lost in their memories, just existing but barely. Feebs, those doubly infected who can still think and function, but have memory issues on occasion. And finally the uninfected, those few who don’t appear to have contracted either disease through some lucky fate.
This book follows Gabbi’s point of view. It starts before the ending of the 2nd book, and tells things from Gabbi’s perspective. It was nice seeing how she felt, and why she seemed to despise Corrina. The book continues swiftly as she fights to free her friends and evade capture. The uninfected seem to want to use the Feebs as though they are sub-human slaves.
Jamie Thornton has shown that she isn’t afraid to kill a character or two if the story calls for it. There are a couple of characters that I wish I could have gotten to know a bit better before they met their untimely demises.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I do wonder if the virus has spread worldwide, or is contained in a country or to the continent. Who unleashed the horror on the population? I hope to find out more in the final book.
Fans of dystopian societies and zombies should definitely give this series a shot. There is some excellent world building, and I feel the characters can definitely be relatable.

The World hangs precariously off in shambles, and Gabbi has top conquer everything,. including herself to keep her friends alive, even those she would rather defend against the notion of being friends to. While repeating the same sense we discovered in the first book, only this time through Gabbi's eyes, we as the readers grapple with choices she makes and why she made them.Trying to explain her reasoning to constantly wanting to run away, even when things are going alright for the group. Her hatred simmering between Corrina and the jealously that Dylan ended up with someone like Corrina and not her.

A fantastic read. Its a fast past read with epic scenes, the scenes are written so well that I can picture them in my minds eye. This Author has done a fantastic job at bringing this story to fruition. I love how the characters are developed and brought out. Its is a real page turner with twists and turns that keeps you enthralled with this read. This would definitely make a great Netflix addition. I definitely recommend this captivating read. You’re in for a wild ride! Great series!

I love zombie apocalypse books, tv shows, and movies. I have read and watched many different series and I have to say this series has been extremely enjoyable! I literally can’t put the books down! I even play them on my Amazon phone app or echo when I’m unable to actively read the books. They are a wild ride and I’ve been strapped in since the beginning!

Infestation is the third book in the Feast of Weeds series written by Jamie Thronton. This story continues on from book number two (Contamination), but this time from Gabbi’s point of view. Gabbi is a character first introduced in Germination. Gabbi has a fierce loyalty to her friends who have been taken and are being held captive. Gabbi is determined to free her friends, but will doing so cause disastrous results? With V’s on the outside, Feebs on the inside, the unifected hunting the living, the stakes are high for Gabbi and her friends. Will she get them out alive and finally make it to a safe haven?

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Infestation. I feel that it had a great continuing flow from book two and keeps the story alive. I feel that this book was a lot better written than the last two and that Jamie Thornton is really growing into an accomplished author. I however, no matter how much I tried, could not like Gabbi’s character. She was just too mean, self-centred and cold hearted. She did kind of redeemed herself towards the end but I still could not grow to like her. She was negative all the time and did not give anyone a chance. I understand that as a character she had a very difficult upbringing but it was just really difficult to sympathise with her at all. I however have become deeply attached to Corrina and Maibe. I would love to read more about them in the next book. Having the next book from Maibe’s perspective would be fantastic because I love her.

All right, onto the nitty grittys…. The memory flashbacks were very distracting in the last book so I was glad to see less of them in this book. I also enjoyed meeting some new characters and the world building. I really enjoyed the interactions between that characters and learning about their backgrounds. Some of the actions scenes were a little confusing and I felt as though they jumped sometimes to a point where I was like, did I miss something?

Overall I really did love this book and am giving it 4 stars. I am excited to continue the series and read the epic conclusion to the feast of weeds series. If you have not already read any of the other books in the Feast of Weeds series I highly recommend them. If you love a good adventure filled with sharp twists and some ‘zombies’ then go ahead and start reading!

Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

~ I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This is the third book in Jamie Thornton's "Feast of Weeds" series. Books One and Two were absolutely phenomenal.

This is a post-apocalyptic zombie series, but unlike any other series you have ever read. In fact, I hesitate to call this "zombie fiction" since the "zombies" are not the typical walking dead that is written about in most books of this genre.

Book One is available free of charge on Amazon and since it is only novella length, readers will whip through it easily.

In INFESTATION, twelve year old Maibe is still with sixteen year old Gabbi, but the rest of the band of young runaways have been captured and it is up to Gabbi and Maibe to figure out how to rescue them.

This book will suck you in. Once you begin, you will not want to put it down.

The zombies aren't really zombies. The "cure" for the zombie virus works, but it messes you up, both physically and psychologically.

I don't want to give too much away, but if you want a riveting read with atypical heroes and a story that is packed with action, adventure and emotion, then this is a MUST READ.

I give INFESTATION 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and am eagerly awaiting the fourth book in the series.

Stay alive. Don’t get caught. Gabbi is a tough street kid who finds little difference between her life in the apocalypse versus her life before. Taking a step back we see what unfolded while Corrina was stuck inside Cal Expo in the previous book (Contamination) and it isn’t much prettier. Gabbi and Maibe must find a way to get the rest of the group out while fighting back their memory-rushes, the Vs coming after them, and the Feebs they encounter.

Since the beginning of the second book, I was really looking forward to hearing the story from Gabbi’s perspective and this book did just that. A girl with such a dark past, struggling through the apocalypse, possibly losing the ones she relies on most while keeping young Maibe alive. Each book in the series is better than the last and this book is no different. Full of suspense, you’re left rooting for the runaway group, flipping through the pages as quickly as possible to find out what happens next. I don’t have enough words to express how much I enjoy this series and I can’t wait to read the next one.

I highly recommend this book/series to anyone who enjoys the genres of YA and post-apocalypse/ zombie.

Please note: I received this book in return for my honest opinion as part of the author’s launch team. Want to learn more and get in on this awesome series before the end: www.ZombiesAreHuman.com

Gabbi is a tough street kid and nothing has really changed for her. Stay alive, keep your friends safe, and avoid the V’s and the humans hunting down other humans. But with Gabbi’s friends being held captive her desire to free them could get them killed. She is determined to free them but that might cause more problems. The question is if they will make it to safe haven, if there is even such a thing.

Gabby is a really tough character to like. I can understand why she is so hard but it doesn’t make it any easy to like her. But she is bound and determined to get everyone, or as many as possible to freedom. I loved the new characters you meet and can’t wait to see how they play out in the next book. And it is sad but not everyone is going to make it through this book. Although there are some of my favorite characters you can’t have a great apocalyptic story without someone biting the big one.

This is a great continuation to an awesome series. I love where Jamie Thornton is taking the story. I can’t believe that there is only one more book for the series. I guess I’m going to have to start on the other books Jamie Thornton’s written.

I have mixed feelings about this book. I received a free copy of this book from the author for an honest review and I immediately started reading it. I was so excited to read the next installment in the series but it's taken me 2 weeks to sort out why I did not enjoy it as much as the first two books. The main reason was that I couldn't connect with Gabbi. She's a tough self preserving kid and I might be too old to sympathize with her. But I think it was just hard to switch from Corrina to Gabbi as a main character. I think the change in characters from Mary to Corrina was smoother because Mary's story was short and I wasn't as vested in her. I felt that in books 1 & 2 the infection was one of the main characters but I didn't feel that way about book 3. It really was all about Gabbi. The book it well written and the fact that I have had it in my mind for two weeks tells me that the author wrote it well, I just didn't like it as much as I did the first two. I will read the last book because I need to know how it all ties up. So I'm still hooked!

I absolutely loved this book.Jamie Thornton is exceptionally talented at world building and portraying well developed, yet flawed characters that I care about. She has a real insight into the feelings and life of homeless and abused street kids.To me this is what makes this zombie series engaging and unique. The book continues the story of Corrina and Maibe's struggle to survive with the help of a group of homeless teenagers. They fight to retain their humanity and protect their group from the Violent infected and the cruelty of other humans.I can't wait to read the next installment in The Feast of Weeds series.I highly recommend this book to any fan of the Zombie and Post-apocalyptic genres. This is the third book in the Feast of Weeds series. I really enjoyed the first two books but I didn’t like this one as much.

Thornton’s writing is great as always, it’s just that although most of the book is fast paced, it felt to me like not much was happening. It was all about Gabbi in this book, and this is perhaps why I didn’t enjoy it as much as the other books. Gabbi is a tough character but I felt she wasn’t consistent throughout the story and I couldn’t get involved in it as much as I did with the previous books.

I liked this book but I thought books 1 and 2 were much better, but I will read the fourth and final book in the series to see how it all works out.

wow what a great three book. i really enjoyed the first and the second but since this book was mostly centered on Gabbi. i found it even more better. because since the first book i read that she was a street kid. i wanted to know why was she. ans what had happened to cause her to leave. I'm glad i got those questions answered. the plot of the story thickens and now i can't wait for the fourth book. really great read.

I love these books! It's hard switching from one character point of view to the next between books but you get drawn into their personal story/point of view. Gabbi has a personality that can be hard to deal with but I was drawn into the story and cannot wait for the next book! I highly recommend this book and the rest of the series.
