The follow up from the Good Husband, get yourself comfortable for what can only be deemed as the Roller Coaster of all Roller Coaster rides. A page turner and a gripping read, full of delicious erotic scenes, on the edge of your seat drama with a bucket load of danger and more than a smattering of intrigue. If I could add more stars then this book would definitely qualify. The only problem is that I have to wait for the next in the series, fortunately Mr Bane has promised this will be within the next two weeks. In the meantime why don't you settle down and read his other books which are equally as entertaining and I promise just as thrilling.

Intriguing, intense, twisted
Yet again Lucian Bane has left me with my mind spinning with so many scenarios as to where he can take this story. Why does he continue to do this to me? Oh I know ... he wants me to use my imagination! Yeah right ... not gonna happen, I'd rather use his.
THE BAD HUSBAND is the second book in Mr Bane's Husband Series, and the continuation of his psychological mindblower, The Good Husband. Once again, he takes his reader on a dark, erotic, warped rollercoaster ride. Never one to be shy with his words, Lucian has the distinct ability of being able to manoeuvre his reader's mind to where he wants them to be.
As Benjamin Rabinowski's story continues, along pathways only Lucian could dream up, the reader learns more about Ben, Cheryl, Charlie, and Alice. Not wanting to give away any spoilers, you will definitely come across many jaw dropping and seat squirming moments. These had me constantly saying to myself ... "did I really just read that?" "No way, no way would Lucian do that!" Well guess what ... he did and he will continue to do so.
I'm addicted. I need more. The story is brilliant, unique, and the characters ... you just want them to succeed in their endeavours.
I want the next one NOW!!!!!

Wow! Dark, Erotic & Totally Freaky is exactly what it is!
Lucian Bane has excelled in the dark, erotic and freaky in The Bad Husband. Ben has survived his head transplant and is now dealing with dark erotic twisted mind of The serial killer, Frank Ward. Charlie and Alice are uncovering the meaning of the tattoos on his head and the will that was shown to them by Frank’s mother and the painting in her barn. There seems to be some kind of link between them all that is scaring Charlie and Alice. Is her father involved? Who murdered Frank & why? So many questions!
They must leave Nebraska to find safety away from Frank’s killing fields. Small moments of the The Good Husband, Ben come through but more and more the Bad Husband, Frank, is taking over and he’s out of control. He’s hurting Cheryl & himself. Can Charlie and Alice save the day and put a stop to a seriously out of control Frank/Ben before he does too much damage? What is the twisted link between them all. Lucian really knows how to keep us on edge and wanting more. Another great read and I can’t wait for the next episode!

I don’t even know where to start. This, a much-anticipated sequel in the Husband series was well worth the wait. Lucian Bane, did it again! The Characters are well developed, complex and believable. In this installment you go on Cheryl and Ben’s journey to find out more about where Ben’s new head came from.
Not only do you get the thrills and suspense that come with that journey, Bane laces this story with the undying, may I say five-alarm love Cheryl has for Ben, but it also gives you the sweet love story of Charlie and Alice’s fresh, untarnished love. Dare I say, there is something for everyone in this sequel.

I give a 5 star rating when a book draws you in and keeps you engaged. AND, most importantly, I will want to read it again.
I will, definitely, be reading The Bad Husband again...and again.
A story that is told in a way that you can believe it could happen.
A story that makes you FEEL invested in the characters... You FEEL what they are experiencing...you WANT things for them.
And, the best part? A WOW (aka holy crap) ending that makes you anxious for the next piece of the story. AND, an author who is planning on delivering that piece, to you, within WEEKS...not months...not years.
Definitely Recommend this series... Start with book 1, The Good Husband.
Trust me...you will be glad you did.
All in all a great read.

✭✭✭✭☆ - I enjoyed this book a lot! I really loved the characters and/or the story, and would defiantly recommend you start reading this series.
In the authors' books about the Bones Brothers you encounter a man with multiple personalities who believe they truly are separate entities living within one body. This series takes that concept to a whole new twisted level.
By the cliffhanger ending you are left feeling like a detective, a profiler, and a psychotherapist for everyone in a depraved version of Wonderland. The Cheshire Cat's words ring true about we are all a little mad. What a magnificent, twisted, decent into madness.
Book 3, I can't wait to read you and puzzle out the next Mad Hatter clues.

Lucian Bane makes my jaw drop and my mind explode after reading The Bad Husband, book two of The Husband Series. Lucian will take you on a dark, erotic, twisted ride that you will never want to get off. The way Lucian can capture the psychotic breakdown Ben is experiencing will make your heart palpitate with anticipation and anxiety. The mystery surrounding Frank is continuing to simmer but you know it is going to boil over soon, especially with the way this book ended. I must say Lucian is the master of the cliffhanger and he does it exceptionally well as it leaves the reader desperately wanting more and questioning what will happen next. I cannot wait to see what Lucian has in store for us in the next book of this series.

First, get The Good Husband! Right now...read that, then there won't even be a question whether or not you should grab this baby! It's an amazing, wicked, crazy, funny, scary steamy, fast paced ride that leaves your heart pounding, and...as all Lucian Bane books do...dangling from the edge of a cliff that you will hold onto for dear life, until the next installment. His books never disappoint me. Always so uniquely creative and full of characters and storylines that take hold like a vice grip, and keep you coming back. Normally, If I know a book ends in a cliffhanger, I won't buy it... or I'll wait! I cant do that with this author. It's just toooo good!! Highly, highly recommend that you check this out...and then all his others books!!

This is the wickedly captivating follow up to ‘the good husband’ which if you haven’t read yet I highly recommend you do!
We continue to follow Ben, Cheryl, Charlie and Alice’s journey on the discovery of who is Frank?
While doing so, this story gives us so many what the frack moments and most definitely always leaving ya wanting more.
It’s wickedly steamy, darkly humorous and just an all round crazy rollercoaster. That you want to cling on tighter to, at the same time screaming let me off all while having the time of your life.
It leaves you so invested in the characters that you can’t help but want more.
So if you’re a little twisted like me, I cannot recommended any higher!

First and foremost - reading The Good Husband first is a must, so you are up to speed with what is going on. Now?
I just finished this book and I am speechless yet on the verge of screaming for the next book in this series by Lucian. He has definitely outdid himself - I swear I was white knuckling my kindle thru most of it. This man can definitely write one helluva fantastic story packed to the hilt with suspense, steam, and mystery. I loved how I found myself feeling connected with every character and completely engaged and sucked into the story. I may have even yelled out “no!” when I reached the end because I have to know what happens next.

The journey of Cheryl, Ben and Charlie takes you into another dimension of emotional experience. I even stopped breathing that's how this Story and their Characters pulled me in .
That's why I would rate this Series with 10 Stars

Their story continues and it has never been so intense. More actions are made and plans are put to motion... The discovery of new things is just getting started and the plot is getting more and more tangled up. The dark side in Ben is prevailing and he has never been so tempted in all his life, Cheryl's strength and urge to survive are getting triggered every day so it is up to Charlie and Alice to do their own research. I highly recommend this book. The story is only getting better, darker and more complicated because the end of it all is not nearly close... Oh, you wanna stay tuned for more!

Holy freaking crap - this series gets more and more twisted as you go along. The twist and turns this has taken have totally had my head spinning. Frank seems to be fighting his way forward leaving Ben behind - Cheryl and Charlie are both scared and are trying to work together to help Ben. I love the little bit of detectiveness thrown in with Charlie and Alice - puzzles - I just love puzzles - so freaking good!!!! The intensity, drama and suspense was certainly amped up in this one for sure!
OH my their sexual interactions totally took a turn as well - hot hot hot!

On the edge of your seat suspense
Wow! The second book in this series has all the angst and intensity left over from book one. This one has quite the ending. Not quite a cliffhanger but something you want to see to its full completion. As the mystery evolves and more clues are revealed, Charlie enables Alice's help while Charlie's mom, Cheryl battles the beast, Frank. Cheryl and Charlie feel they are losing Ben more and more to Frank and need God's help and guidance. This thriller keeps building as the story progresses. Less horror now and more suspense-thriller. I do like the psychological aspect to this story that keeps the reader attentive.

Book one had me gasping for air. Now here I am thrashing and yelling through my gritted teeth, because I need more! The riddles, the puzzle pieces and the sheer mystery surrounding Ben and his precious family seemed to be roaring to the surface. Then BAM! Another puzzle, wrapped tightly and just out of reach. Lucian you have given us yet another gem. Just when I think you've written your best work. You deliver something out of this world delicious. I definitely recommend reading this in a quiet space with a beverage of choice. Cheers!

First off, make sure you read The Good Husband first. This book picks up where the first left off, and the ride just gets bumpier from there. The author does an amazing job of weaving the dark and twisted, with the erotic. You'll want to buckle up and hold on, because things start getting intense, and I cannot wait to see where this goes.

Omg! It literally left me on the edge of my seat!! What!
This is book 2 in the husband series. It’s shorter than the first, but it packs a punch, full of suspense, mystery and eroticism. I wouldn’t say it’s revealing on who Frank is, more like the bread crum trail really starts here and it ends in a serious cliff hanger, but no worries! Book 3 is out now, which is where I’m heading!!

There is only Lucian Bane that could come up with a story like this and make it work.
It's getting more intriguing and scary the more i read.
I can wait to start the next book The Psychotic Husband.
I just hope Ben's son Charlie and his girlfriend Alice can come up with some answers for him before things get even more out of hand.

Carries on from where book one finished, and boy what a great read it was.
Absolutely amazing storyline and great characters, with every page you read it seems so believable, that you think it could be a true story. Fantastic, storytelling at it's best.
