Wanna know what's wrong with NYC? I'm happy to tell you. Small businesses got pushed out by crazy rents. Chain coffee shops and drug stores started popping up on every block. No one is safe. I worry constantly about what my landlord will do when the lease to my bakery is up. No one is immune, not even little old ladies. Mrs. DiBennedetto, who owns the dress shop across the street? Her landlord tripled her rent. She got the boot. Now the actual heir to the Easy Shoppe Drugstore Chain is moving in. Unbelievable. The enemy doesn't deserve to be that good looking. Over six feet of Man Candy. And every time he bends over... No. I'm old enough to know better. Pretty on the outside does not mean pretty on the inside. I will make myself stop staring out my window. Focus, Edie, focus. Just keep calm and carry on. I'm not going to do anything crazy like fall in love . . .
I am addicted to Romance, every thing from Jana Aston and her dirty doctors to Kristen Callihan's sports romance to Ruby Dixon's blue aliens, and Sherry Thomas's everything.
I live in Manhattan where you'll probably find me with a coffee cup in my hand.
Edie owns her own bakery and isn’t a fan of the man that moves into the storefront across the street.
Easy can’t understand why the bakery owner doesn’t like him, but he’s going to figure it out. He works hard to gain her trust and treats her to some amazing surprises.
Another sweet book. Edie has been hurt and is stand-offish at first, but Easy makes it easy (ha!) for her to fall in love.
I love any stories where the main character is a baker. This was a sweet, sexy read. You fall for Kinley aka "Easy" very fast and I rooted for Edie to come out of her shell the whole time! I will definitely be reading more books by Dakota Issacs
