Uh I really didn't enjoy this one. I really liked the first volume but this one completely lost me.

And it's not even only about the way female bodies were drawn and portrayed through this one!! (But seriously did they all have to de dressed in mini dresses?) But where did the plot go? Yeah I'm not expecting some complicated plot with twists and turns, but when you back out of confrontations MULTIPLE times like an "oopsie!" and when you avert hostile engagement MORE THAN ONCE by somehow CONVINCING people to be nice to each other?? Like c'mon. Oh this elder demon is chasing after you, what will we do! Turns out she was friendly all along. That's such a let down for me, like you could have done so much with that,

Am I overthinking this series, is it any worth to continue reading?

This volume wasn't as much fun as the first, but it was still fun. I'm not so fond of Halkara, but Beelzebub is an interesting character, and I thought it was funny how she handled the blue dragons.

The library has been awesome and now I have up to volume 8 on the table beside me.

Well the wholesome part when out the window in that last chapter (although pretty much all manga have at least a fan service chapter where the girls either go to the beach in bikinis or in a hot spring only covered by convenient smoke)

Although I still thing the overall premise is rather wholesome and fun so far, especially the recent mini arcs regarding beelzebub & the dragon wedding

Looking forward to getting the next volume!

I really enjoyed the first volume in this series, partly because there was so little fanservice. Well, they made up for lost time here, adding two fanservice characters. Totally ruined the book for me. Dropping the series now, and annoyed.

How very anime of Azusa to make friends with everyone she fights, or maybe… Maybe it’s more so that Azusa is a magnet?!
The elf Halkara shows up on Azusa’s doorstep, begging for sanctuary from demon lord Beelzebub who is in pursuit of her. Later, everyone is invited to Laika’s sister’s wedding, but chaos ensues there too! Will Azusa ever catch a break and taste peaceful life again? Or will every day be a new adventure from here on out?


Having lived peacefully for 300 years… it’s no surprise the boisterous and adventurous life has finally caught up to Azusa. But even though she prefers a quiet life, she’s really active in all the activities and isn’t reluctant to involve herself if it’s a situation involving a friend. She only expresses reluctance for new disruptions.

I'm really enjoying this.

Such fun. Interesting story. Ok the beginning premise is kind of, meh, but once you get past it & into the story, it goes well. Art, very good. Dialogue, a little silly, but good. Characters, believable, interesting, & likeable, & in some cases, adorable. Pick this series up. I see good things coming.
