I barely survived my first encounter with the three kings. Try as they could, they couldn’t ruin me.
They know who I really am. They know the secret to my past.
A secret that goes far deeper than I can expect. A secret that’ll change my world—and theirs—forever.
But my ordeals are just getting started.
I thought I gained an upper hand. But they’re about to teach me the consequence of defiance.
This time, they’ll show no mercy. This time, they’ll pull no punches. This time, they’ll push me to my breaking point.
Until I know just what it truly means to be hated.
Warning: Not for the faint of heart. This slow-burn reverse harem novel about three arrogant bad boys and the girl who stood her ground contains dark themes, drama, angst, swoon-worthy sex, and and some potential triggers.
I fall more in love with this group as the series progresses! While Anna continues to dig into the mysteries surrounding her birth, she grows closer to another king. Even while she becomes stronger in so many ways, it opens her up to be vulnerable to her enemies. Each king may want her for a different reason, but is anything that is developing between them real? As things heat up, some secrets will be uncovered that might be better left buried. Will Anna be all alone or will any of the kings be there to support her when it really matters? If one of them is, should that king be the one she gives her heart to and shares her birthright with? So many decisions to make and each choice comes with ramifications that can’t be undone. I don’t know how she will ever choose between the first boy she gave her heart to (even if he broke it), her knight in tarnished armor, or the fallen angel... I would have to keep all three!
read the first book and was in the midst of reading the second book when I spoiled myself by reading the reviews for the third book. Anyway, apparently she ends up with one of them? Which is fine and all I guess but I don't get why it's then advertised as a RH. I don't wanna end up with a soft spot for all of them just for her to end up with one of them. Which I'm assuming is Royce? I honestly did like Arther, but it was quite anticlimactic as he fell for her so easily. By the second book, you could tell the purpose of his character was kind of fulfilled. I liked Max too, he had a lot of potential- but his character kind of felt like a ghost. Especially in the first book, he was always just kinda there but didn't really serve any purpose. I also enjoyed Royce just as much as the other two, and I guess it makes sense for her to end up with him out of the three. Not gonna read the rest but it was fun while it lasted.
Book 2 follows on from book 1 with Anna (FMC) trying to find out about her parents and where she fits into this new life. This is book is slightly darker than the first one (or i think so anyway) as Anna uncovers more hidden truths. Some that are hard to hear. Sexual tension boils over between Anna & Royce. Its great that he showed a different side to himself in this book. As with the other guys..............Max is an enigma. He seems to be the more honest out of the three of them but im still trying to work him out though? Arthur is another story after the stunt he tried to pull in the last book but to be fair they were all in on it. Still this book is starting to up the pace now & it feels like Anna is starting to come into her own. Now that shes getting wise to the way things work in this new life. im totally loving this series though so much
Hate me is the second book in the new academy series by Nora Cobb. In this book, we delve deeper into Anna's past and who she is. There's romance, hot scenes and mystery throughout. We get pulled into Anna's story and her journey navigating the king's and their intentions. I loved how well the story flows and that we get to see Anna build up her strength and determination. The king's are intriguing characters that will have you second guessing everything. I loved the multiple povs and the feelings this story gives the reader. That ending will have your heart in pieces and you will want book 3 to watch Anna have her revenge. Amazing book, beautiful characters and a story that will have you hoping for a happy conclusion!
Man do things really pick up in book two!! This book is starting to uncover some secrets but also learning more. Anna continues to try to find out the mystery surrounding her birth. While doing so, she has grown closer to one of the kings. I will let you read to find out which one it is. While another king tries to get back in her good graces. Which if you read book one then you know which one this is. There is a good question that Anna keeps asking herself and I do no blame her. Will the kings stand by her or is this just another trap to use her?
Once I started Hate Me, I could not stop. The characters are great, the plot is interesting and the pace is spot on. I would highly recommend this series.
Wow! This book picks up where book 1 ends seamlessly and it does not disappoint! I actually think I liked this books better than the first in the series.
The relationship between Royce and Anna starts to blossom, which made me so excited! I always love the cocky bad boy. I am glad we got to see a bit more of Max as well, and that Arthur did not have a large part of the story line. I’m still a bit angry with him from book 1.
This book was filled with plot twists that kept you on your toes! I don’t feel this story ends in a cliffhanger and it is actually an amazing ending. It left me wanting to read more and see what happens next but it wasn’t going to leave me with a book hangover for days.
So we continue with Anna and her kings . This time we see her interactions with Royce whom I love more than Arthur , Max is slowly sliding in . Love his lazy smile and he plays with swords . I cannot believe this headmistress , she needs to go down . Seems like Ana will have some help with her kings pledging to her ; such an awesome scene . My main issue is the same in book 1, I just cannot connect with Anna, sometimes I feel like we are dealing with a 12yr old , how can you let people influence you so much in a short time . Seems though she may be getting her back bone in book 3.
The secrets are starting to unravel in the second book of the series. Anna is starting to get more then she bargained for at her elite academy. The kings are showing their hands and Anna has to decide what her future is worth. I'm really looking forward to the group working together to protect Anna and their collective futures.
It seems as though Nora is basically writing each book with one of the Kings as the main squeeze. Then you have the headmistress who I don't trust one little bit. I do wonder a bit about her roommate, but I think she does have true intentions. Sometimes I wonder if this setting is high school or college.
Ok series, cute guys, I fell for Royce, he was so sweet :) But, I got confused ... Swiss alpes and Sweden??? I think the author got things mixed up......in one of the books mc needed translator because she couldnt talk swedish, and there was mentioning of being in Sweden, the next page she was standing looking over the Swiss alpes?? Last I checked, the swiss alpes are not in Sweden.....
I enjoyed this much more than book 1. Loved the tightening of the relationship between Royce and Anna. Even the development with Max was great. Would have liked to see some more humanity from Arthur. Loved the big reveal from the headmistress. Looking forward to book 3.
Anna’s story is very moving. This book she finds out more about her mum and dad and unfortunately it’s not all good. I love how she’s getting stronger and stronger as a person. Finally we find out the kings intentions but I think Royce is my favourite
This is the second book in this series and Anna continues to gig into the mysteries surrounding her birth. She grows closer to another King. Some secrets are uncovered and some truths are revealed. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Ohhh well she found out a bit more about her family and who she is this time, bit damn who would of thought, I can wait for the next book, I hope we find more out about max. Love Nora Cobb's books. Highly recommend them
Further down the Rabbit hole we go. Book one scratched the surface but gave the reader enough to keep going.
Book three promises an even deeper dive beneath the surface and I can't wait to see how it all unfolds. My Calendar is marked for when the third book comes out.
I really love this series. I love the new things Anna has found out and her hesitant, growing relationships with the guys. They sure have some things to make up for! I’m excited for her to get her revenge and se how that comes about. Really, a great story.
This is book 2 in the series. I enjoyed reading this book. Earning more about Anna and where she comes from. There is also more insight to the boys. I can’t wait for the next book to come out!
I really enjoy when book series pick up where the last book left off and this book did just that. I liked the growth and character development in this book. I cant wait to read more from Nora Cobb.
Wish Anna and the kings had more I depth story going on. So far it has not been a reverse harem story line. The few times she has been with them it’s been one in one
