Mercury believed she had faced the ultimate evil. She’s about to be proved wrong.
When Mercury awakes in a house she doesn’t recognise, she realises the demon Heidi has had control of her body. Prevented from leaving, Mercury learns hers is a brief reprieve. When next she falls asleep, Heidi plans to bring forth her master: the most powerful demon in existence.

With only hours until she loses her body for good, Mercury must act fast to thwart the demon’s plans. But while in control of their shared body, Heidi has built an army of followers. To complete her aim, Mercury must avoid these devotees.

Should they catch her, Heidi will once more take the reigns, and this time, Mercury will be gone for good…

About the author

Mark Ayre

An avid writer since crafting a moving story of a penguin trying to find his way home (sadly no longer in print) when he was a mere six years old, Mark has started hundreds of novels and written millions of words.

Recently learning how to curb his imagination and actually get something done, he now writes character-driven suspense thrillers, often with supernatural elements.

Like all great authors, he writes about himself in the third person, as though he has enough money to afford a publicist.

Good.

I only gave 4 stars because of the editing errors. There were slightly more than in the first one. But, despite that, the story is really good. It took another path that I didn't see coming. Let's try the final one.
