After all, she's a rare type of supernatural who can hunt, control and kill the most dangerous and unpredictable of demons. Even maybe use their energy for herself.
But it turns out there's more to being a professional demon hunter than Hazel expected—and there are much darker secrets in her past than she could ever have guessed.
When a new demon infestation threatens the city, Hazel must work with Blade to battle their common enemy. But old habits die hard, and she soon finds herself at the mercy of a foe much, much worse than ordinary demons…
I really enjoyed this book in the series. I think a couple pieces of information were missing at first but as the story continues it becomes irrelevant as you understand how things are going. It has a lot of action, drama, suspense, and a bit of mystery still. We learn a lot about Blade and his history which adds so much to the story. The series is shaping up to become epic. This is most definitely worth reading and doesn’t disappoint
You didn't kill your parents but they think you did and when you describe demons doing it you are put in an institution for the criminally insane. You escape and stay under the radar until an event gets you mixed up with demons again. What a great story.
