A mob prince broke my heart once.

…So why do I want to trust him again?

Nathan was my first love.

I’ve lived a tough life since we broke up.

Men have used me, and I’ve fallen into dangerous company.

Nathan is cocky, arrogant, but hot as hell.

He’s the one that got away.

And he’s the one that I should stay away from.

But my rebellious heart pulls me toward him.

Being with him means embracing danger.

And something tells me that every bit of that danger would be worth it.

I really am liking this series by Eric Steele. This is the story of Nathan and Tatiana (Tati). Nathan and Tati were an item until something happened in college to cause Tati to leave Nathan and not look back. Nathan is the son of a mob boss and also a lawyer. He has always had feelings for Tati and could never understand why she just upped and left him with no explanation. Tatiana is the daughter of a mob boss and is definitely tired of the mob life. When she left at 18, she wanted to leave it all behind her. Even going to London couldn’t keep her mind off Nathan, no matter how mad she was at him. They are thrown back together after 8 years and the chemistry is still there, but Tati doesn’t want to act on it because she doesn’t want anything to do with the mob life. Lots of drama, deception, suspense, intrigue, miscommunication, passion and chemistry. You were able to see the development of the relationship grow between Nathan and Tati. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

This book finally took the cake!!!! TO HELP ME REALIZE TO NOT FINISH THIS SERIES! Writing was completely horrid and just didn't do it for me. I forced myself to read the first 4 and nearly cried to realized I still would have to endure two more books, DNF this book at all.
