This cookbook is a rare gem. It's a low-fat cookbook that does not rely on mixes, sugar substitutes or rabbit food. Instead it's chock full of delicious and unexpected recipes. The recipes are varied enough to suit everyone's tastes and eating habits - from vegetarians to meat-eaters to 'flexitarians" Recipes I look forward to trying include Chocolate Carrot Cake, Barley with Peppers & Green, Curried Bean Soup & Prairie Chili With Chicken. I highly recommend this cookbook, even if you're not into low-fat cooking. It's inventive, easy to follow, informative and fun.

Excellent everyday basic cookbook for things like roast chicken, grilled fish, homemade oatmeal, turkey meatloaf, muffins, smoothies, etc. I use this a lot and recommend as a good reference book.
