Traveling the country has always been a dream of mine. Just me and the open road, complete freedom to do what I want, when I want. It might not be the lifestyle that most people choose, but it sure as hell feels right for me. I don’t think anything can derail it…
At least, not until I see her.
I can’t ignore Kayla and her smoking car on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere, even if I do have places that I want to go. What sort of gentleman would that make me? But an offer to fix her car soon becomes an offer to give her a ride… and that ride leads to experiences that I never thought I would find on this road trip.
Tim is living his dream life of traveling the world exploring. He meets Kayla when he comes across her car broke down along the road side. Kayla is trying to find a job right out of law school with the help of her controlling mother. When Tim offers to drive her to her interview she accepts so she won't be late. However the interview doesn't go as planned and she doesn't get the job. Tim consoles her and they spend some time together since her car isn't done yet. Tim is attracted to Kayla and really doesn't want to leave her behind so he asks her to join him on his journey. Will she let her mother continue to dictate her life or will she follow her heart?
This is a great story that will hook you in from the first chapter on. The chemistry between them is scorching hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Addicted. This book was exciting. It made me think hard about my life and if I did what I wanted to do or did what I was expected to do. Being yourself and loving what you do is vital to having a happy life. Tim was living his best life and came across a woman who wasn't but he tried to get her to see how important it is to live your own life. Kayla is consumed by her mother wanting her to be a lawyer. But Kayla isn't sure that is what she wants and the struggles begin because Tim has given her a taste of freedom. Now what does she do? A great romance read! A good deed never goes punished........or rewarded
Addicted is an entertaining and quick novella about a man who travels the country never settling down about anything and a young woman who is all about commitment and goals, whether they are her own or her Mother's is really up for debate. He finds her on the side of the road when her car has broken down and one good deed of offering her a ride to her job interview leads to a lifetime of exploration and addiction.
I liked the story line and the characters. The writing was good and the story flowed well. It was a good mix of connections, chemistry, family, pressure, life, acceptance, understanding, dreams and standing up for yourself.

Traveling the country had always been a dream of Tim’s and then he sees Kayla’s car on the side of the road and he knows he can’t just pass her by. He helps her out and soon sparks fly but will he choose to stay or leave her behind? Fast-paced read with plenty of drama and steam. Great characters and an entertaining story. I liked it.
The author has given us characters we can care about. Kayla has been trained by her mother, her entire life, to become a lawyer. Tim is a free spirit that goes where the wind takes him. When they meet their lives will never be the same.

Great story line, to me it felt rushed and very fast paced. The chemistry of the 2 characters was great and so real. It was a great story, I just felt something missing.
