I really enjoyed this story between Brody and Delilah. You could feel their chemistry. And Delilah had been through a lot and this author did a great job of showing how she grew over the course of the story and within her relationship with Brody. I'll be checking out her other books.

Michelle Fernandez is a new to me author so I wasn't prepared for her talent as Embrace did it's best to bring me to my knees. Delilah has gone through a lot in her life so trust isn't something easy for her now. Brody is a broken soul who's considered a bad boy since we all know people don't always look past the surface, but the moment he meets Dee, something shifts inside of him. I'm not saying that he's all better because it was a journey which came off very realistic, and Dee didn't exactly start trusting him right away, but the beauty of Embrace is how they were able to finally get past things that were holding them back from life. It's an emotional story that had my eyes trying to leak, so you may or may not need some tissue when reading. I CANNOT WAIT to read more by this amazing author and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

The moment I started this book I knew it was going to be a good one. When I read the blurb I knew I would be all in!

Delilah and Brody’s love story is amazing. Brody went from a bad boy to love sick knowing one women could change his mind on everything. Brody has gone through a lot in his life and finding the right women to take away all his pain was a pleasure to read. Delilah also had a lot she had to overcome and learning to trust the right man was such a triumph for her.

This was the first book I have read from Michelle Fernandez and I know without a doubt I will be reading more from her. If you want a book that gives you hope along with some laughs and maybe a few tears then this is the book for you!

Delilah is trying to leave her painful past where it belongs and is looking for a new beginning both personally and professionally. She isn’t looking for love or a relationship and doesn’t allow many people close but there is something about Brody that draws her in.

Brody has transitioned from his career as a Navy SEAL and is now working for Cole Security. From their first meeting he knew that Delilah was special however he has a past of his own that he is trying to overcome.

Delilah is so much stronger and more resilient than even she knows while Brody shows he is the perfect man to protect both her heart and her life and together they can handle anything that life throws at them.

This was such a brilliant story.
Brody and Delilah (Dee) are broken after bad experiences that happened in the past. But when they meet there is an instant connection which I thought was great. I loved watching their relationship evolve and grow throughout the story.
This story had everything, heartbreak, romance, angst, an interesting storyline and incredible characters. I can’t wait to see what this author does next.

This is my first book by Michelle Fernandez and I really enjoyed it. There's angst, drama, and romance that together made a good read.

Brody and Delilah are both affected by things in their past, and it was nice seeing them grow closer and find love together. I thought the story was nicely paced and it kept me reading as I wanted to see their HEA.

The angst in had me cursing because I could feel everything Brody and Delilah were feeling and my heart broke. It's sexy yes, because their chemistry is undeniable but the connection they share and how they are both trying to move on from the past, is what hooked me. Gut-wrenching, sexy, angst-filled and an amazing chemistry is what this is made of.

This was an emotional read from start to finish! Delilah is running from an abusive relationship. Brody has baggage of his own. Despite neither one wanting a relationship, they can't deny the chemistry between them. It wasn't easy for them to navigate through all the obstacles but I really enjoyed reading their journey to happiness!

Delilah has been through so much and she doesn't know if she can take more. Being in an abusive relationship was hard enough, now she's free but she struggles daily. Trying to get her life back together and living with her best friend who is her voice of reason she's going to do what she can to make her life better. What she doesn't need or want is another man, however when she meets Brody she knows he's different, she just won't allow herself to go there. Brody has his own baggage and when he takes a job to protect someone he never imagines meeting a women who will make him stop in his tracks. He knows something has happened with her and his protectiveness is flying high. However can he open up to her and break down both their walls or will his past destroy his happiness?

Wow! I haven’t read this author before and I wasn't sure what to expect but this story blew me away!
Delilah and Brody have both suffered in different ways, but a chance encounter might change both their futures!
This story is very emotional but it's also swoon-worthy.
I loved both characters and loved the journey that brought them to each other and their happiness.

Miss Fernandez is a new author for me. I enjoyed everything about this book. Delilah and Brody, two people who have suffered much and have enough emotional baggage they could fill two suitcases.
I love how the author weaves humanness into this story of how two people find a deep abiding love they never thought they could have. Both have suffered much in their lives especially Delilah. Trust issues are high, and the story has some real real taut moments. But they prevail though and come out on the other side a little banged up, but not not worse for wear, and stronger than ever.
There is nothing NOT to enjoy about Embrace.

Emotional wringer with all of the feels from A to Z that will knock you to your knees, slowly build the trust and love, only to knock you back again. Wow, just brilliant.
This book has it all romance, angst and tears and I loved every last page.
Brody and Delilah are great characters, both have a past their trying to forget when they meet, but both can't forget each other either. Can Brody forgive himself from his past, can Delilah learn to trust a man again, after her douchebag ex!

This is my first read by this author and I loved it! Delilah has been through so much and trust doesn’t come easy. She’s a broken soul and all she wants is a fresh start. Brody is broken as well, looking for something he hasn’t found yet, trying to keep his sordid past where it belongs in the past. When these two meet Dee thinks he’s too good to be true and she’s stirred something in him and it scares him to death.

He’s keeping something from Dee and she can feel it and when the truth of who he really is comes to light will she forgive him? Dee’s insecurities get the best of her and that leads to bad decision making. What happens when her past comes back to haunt her, Will Brody be able to save her? Amazing read I loved it! I received a copy of this book.

This book is absolutely amazing. Hooked from the first page. I felt all the emotions along with the characters of this book. Delilah has been through such tragedy and has to escape so she moves to L.A. Brody as a Navy SEAL has his own demons to face. They help and soothe each other’s battered souls. Brody should have been more open about his live so Delilah didn’t have to find out the way she did. But their love was fierce and intense so his past didn’t matter to her when he was open about it. Then tragedy strikes again when Delilah is kidnapped by her deranged and abusive ex. In the end they get their happy ever after. A lovely union in front of family before a sunset.

Wonderful addition to the Salvation Society Series
Delilah and Brody meet by chance, she is coming out of an abusive relationship and Brody has his own past to deal with and not scare her.
I love their connection even through pain and their fight to be together.
Such a beautiful amazing book. I definitely want to read more of Michelle's book especially Delilah's brothers.

This was a fun crossover story from the broken hero series. I loved Brody and Delilah and their interactions with each other. Delilah had been through so much and grew through her ordeals. Brody was such a sweet guy, doing what he could to help her. This story truly does show there is more than meets the eye and how important it is to look beyond the glimpses people show you.

Embrace is a wonderful book by Michelle Fernandez. In this one Delilah has moved to CA from Kansas to start new and to heal from an abusive relationship. She meets Brody and thinks he is hot, but slips away. Brody can't believe he lost her, and thinks about her all the time, and by chance finds her at a diner one night. Brody knows she's been hurt and wants to help and protect her. He's not sure why he is so drawn to her, but he is. So he fixes her car for her, and asks her on a date. Delilah is scared to be in a relationship again (with good reason), but slowly Brody gains her trust and proves he is not her ex. Will they be able to both escape their pasts and move on together? Or will their pasts come back and haunt them and ruin what they are working towards? You will need to read it to find out as this is an amazing story and you should really read it. Their needs to be many more Brody's in the world, as he truly is great at surprising Delilah and showing her how much he loves her all the time. The book also has some things that could be triggers as there is some talk of abuse, cancer and dementia, but I believe the author wrote all with dignity and respect. Seriously pick this one up. I have a couple that I need to go back and read by this author, but she is one that I want to read everything she writes. Looking forward to her next one coming out soon.

This is a story of not only being broken and damaged but coming out the other side strong and empowered!

This book centres on Delilah, (known as D or Dorothy) and Brody.
D is a broken shell of a woman who is trying to regain her identity and her self worth after leaving a mentally and physically abusive relationship. Life starts to shine for her when she interviews and gets the job of her dreams and along the path she is now following she meets Brody - an ex Seal who now works in security.

Brody also comes with baggage from earlier years and never plans on settling down with a woman or falling in love but when he is asked to escort D to her ride home he can’t get her out of his thoughts.
They meet again in a local diner and they find they can’t deny the attraction regardless of how hard they try to deny it.
This story was beautifully emotional read, especially when Delilah’s abusive Ex decides to track her down and claim her as his. But D had found her inner strength and desperation to survive.

D and Brody both had emotional baggage but together they overcame their past and their combined strength and love gave them their HEA.

Delilah is a woman with a past, and Brody has his own hurts to overcome. When they start dating, the mutual attraction is immediate but he takes it slow for Delilah’s sake.

Right from the start, he does the right things:
- He fixes her car.
- He walks her home.
- He plans for surprise dates.

When secrets are slowly revealed though, doubt and fear sets in… Can their relationship move forward or will their past or external forces break them apart? Read this to find out.

I love Sydney for being there for her and for “warning” Brody not to mess up! It was also interesting to see Delilah enjoying success in her career, proving that women can indeed have it all, if we wish to!

This is Brody and Delilah’s story.
When Brody and Delilah have a chance meeting, these two broken souls are drawn to each other. Brody has to overcome his past, while Delilah is emotionally and physically scarred. Can these two overcome the challenges off their pasts?
This is a well written easy to read, slow burn story, which is emotionally charged, with friendships, guilt, disappointments, betrayal, healing, survival, challenges, danger, suspense, intrigue, secrets, undeniable chemistry, revelations, and love, which leads to an entertaining, sweet, and heartwarming addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
