August 6, 2020Walk Me Home is a Friends to Lovers Dance Romance! I can't believe it took me so long to write a book that revolved around dance. I was a dancer for about 15 years and I loved every minute of it. At one point in my life I swore I would dance forever, but my body had other plans 😉
These two were so easy and fun to write! This is light read was exactly what we need during a time of total craziness! I hope you check it out!

Walk me Home is in my eyes the book form of Step Up just with a slightly different story but same concept! It’s a lot of fun and I LOVE that the two main characters are dancers, it just adds so much more flare and uniqueness to it. I’ve never read a dance romance like this one and it’s just so different but in a good way.
Jade is a character who at the beginning is hurt from being cheated on but quickly realizes a better man is in her life in her friend Bentley. She has a lot of spirit and learns that the best things in life are sometimes right in front of you
Bentley is totally swoon worthy, talk about a gentleman through and through! He’s a dreamboat and has so much charm to add to his perfect gentleman nature.
Alison is a new author to me, this is the first book of hers I’ve ever read and as an introductory book its very good and had me hooked from the prologue. I binged it in a day that’s how hooked I was! I’m really looking forward to the rest of Alison’s books which I’ll definitely be reading after this one!

Where do I begin? I loved this story from the first page to the last page. I get a kick out of watching dance video's off Youtube so I KNEW I had to read this book. Jade and Bentley are friends who are in the same dance troupe. She always goes to him when her life is in a mess. Bentley has always wanted more than to be just friends so when she catches her latest boyfriend cheating, he decides it's his time to show her what she means to him. Jade is very reluctant and scared to get into another relationship so it's hard. I loved the interaction between them and loved watching their friendship turn into something more than they both ever dreamed of. This will be just another book by this author that I will have to get in print because I loved it so hard!! Ms. Mello is a one click author for me and her books never fail to make me feel something! Run......don't walk to get this book!!

Walk Me Home is a friends to lovers dance romance that is way better than Step Up could ever be. The chemistry that that Jade and Bentley have is amazing. I love this author's books and I can't wait to read more.

You know when you read a book and the pages just keep turning by themselves into the early hours of the morning. Well this is one of those. Love, heartbreak, that vulnerability when you feel those feelings for the first time, and there's no pain quite like a broken heart, the first time you feel betrayal, the loss of love in the most unexpected, confusing circumstances. Those moments of fear and nervousness over sharing something intimate with someone else. This is just a snippet of what is in Walk Me Home. Alison Mello does an awesome job of making it feel like you are right there watching it all play out. What can I say about Jade and Bentley. Well Bentley is a complete gentleman while Jade is independent. Bentley has always had feelings for Jade but kept them on the backburner until Jade caught her boyfriend cheating. Jade having lost her dance partner has lost her passion to dance. Bentley steps in and brings her passion back as she wearily struggles to commit to another dance partner and a relationship. Well that not all but you need to read this amazing book!

This book is different from what the author usually writes, but I wasn't surprised how awesome it turned out. The story is centered around a dance company, who competes in dance competitions. Jade is heartbroken over a cheating boyfriend and has lost some of her passion for couple dancing. Bentley has secretly been waiting for an opportunity to show Jade how real men treat a woman. When the dance coach pairs them up, it makes his quest that much easier. Jade and Bentley's chemistry is combustible, but will it be enough to thaw Jade's jilted heart. You won't want to miss reading this story, it releases soon.

I legit finished this book in one sitting, it is by far, one of Alison's best books to date!

Bentley has always had feelings for Jade, but with her being taken, he knew he had to step back and give her space. When opportunity strikes, Bentley does whatever he can to prove to Jade that he is the only partner she needs for the rest of her life--both on the dance floor and in the bedroom.
This was a great new book by Alison, and I can't wait to read more from her!

I loved this book so much. Be prepared for Jade and Bentley give you a major case of "The Feels" as their story unfolds. I thought that these two were simply EVERYTHING!! This romantic tale was epic and very beautiful. I think there is always something really special about a friends to lovers story and that held true for this book. Both characters were incredibly lovable. I could sympathize with Jade and then how I envied her and Bentley was a totally swoon worthy, five star book boyfriend!! This is my elective, forthright review.

This story brought me back so many memories from when I used to dance. The fun and excitement of it all. Jade and Bentley are explosive together and this whole story had major Step Up vibes, which is also one of my favorite movies. Great story from start to finish and one I would recommend for others to enjoy. Especially if you love dance and a bit of competitive drama.

Alison Mello is a new-to-me author, which is crazy because she has a bunch of books out! That really just goes to show that there are SSOOOOO many great authors out there, and sometimes it’s just plain luck that you happen across one. Some of my favorite author’s were random discoveries like this, and I am so grateful for all of them! I think that Alison Mello is going to be added to this list as soon as I am able to check out a couple more of her books!

This was a great read from start to finish. I struggled in the beginning due to some similarities in the book and my real life. Who wouldn't like this book. Boy cheats on girl, girl leaves cheater, girl wants to be alone until girl realises there was someone better all along right in front of her. I found myself yelling at the books characters because I couldn't wait for them to be together. I also found myself wanting more from another couple in the book. It was a quick read for me . I really enjoyed being pulled in from the first chapter. Alison is now one of my favorite authors. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a good easy read.

This book was an interesting book and not like most sports romances that I have read. The story line is unique as it centers around a dance studio and a girl that has to find how to trust again. Bentley has had feelings for her for a long time and sees this as his chance to finally get the girl.
Finally getting his chance, he goes above and beyond to show her how much better he is then other men she has been with. Partnering with her for a company dance helps him in his pursuit to get the girl.
I always love a good sports romance and this hit its mark!

This is my first book from this author, it won’t be my last. I loved the writing. This is a friends to lovers. I do love a dancing romance story. I loved the chemistry between Jade and Bentley. I couldn’t put their journey down. Their story reminded me of the movie Step Up. I will definitely read more of this authors stories.

I absolutely loved this book. Bentley and Jade start out as friends but their relationship grew into so much more. Bentley is the perfect gentleman and he's just what Jade needed after her ex cheated on her. This is a well written book with lovable characters and a story filled with heartbreak, friendship, romance, love and a great ending. I definitely recommend this book to everyone looking for a fantastic book boyfriend, I mean a fantastic love story.

When Jade finds out that her boyfriends is cheating on her she loses not just her dance partner, but her passion for dance as well. Bentley and Jade are friends and he has always had feeling for her but stood in the background as she was in a relationship. Now he and Jade are going to be dance partners, the chemistry between them is intense, and their dancing together is magical. This is a well written tale which is filled with betrayal, heartbreak, healing, and love. I look forward to reading more from this author whose work I recommend for all.

Walk Me Home was a wonderful story to read by Alison Mello. I had had the opportunity to read her Coach's Love Series, and this book is just as enjoyable to read as that series. I loved following Jade and Bentley's friends to lovers story, look forward to reading more from this author.

WOW! What an awesome book! You will not be disappointed with this book. Loved all the emotions in this. Ms. Mello is able to pull out all the stops to hook you into the story. Wanted to keep reading without stopping but life does sometimes gets in the way.

Since I'm a big fan of the Step Up movies and High Strung, this story about dancing, music and love was a great reading.
Jade and Bentley are good friends and dance partners but Bentley wants to be more. However Jade isn't so sure.

I love a good friends to lovers romance. Bentley always had a thing for Jade but he would never have poached another guy's girl. Jade is in a relationship with Jackson, her dance partner. Once Jade and Jackson end, Bentley makes his move. Now dancing partners, they get to spend more time together and Jade catches up with Bentley in the feelings category. This is a great read.
