De esta novela me ha maravillado sobre todo el principio. Esos primeros capítulos donde Carter se extraña de sus propias emociones y, a pesar de sentirse confuso e indeciso, pone remedio a sus sentimientos. Ese paso al frente es fantástico.
Independientemente de que sea multimillonario, de que esté obsesionado con su empresa y el crecimiento de esta, Carter es un hombre íntegro que no tiene miedo a mostrar sus cartas.
Por contrapunto, esta Brynn. Aunque su personaje también me ha gustado, no me eclipsado tanto como el protagonista masculino.
¡Con ganas de leer la historia de Mason!

I cant say enough how wonderful a J.S Scott stories are . And her latest release, The Billionaire Unchallenged has given me the same wonderful satisfactory feeling like all the others that came before.
In this read the author has Bryann who is physically perfect in every way. In fact she uses her flawless beautiful to flourish her career as an international model. However , being worldly adaptable she was doesn't trust easily and fears incapable of fully trusting another with whole heart.
Note Bryann, has a secret . And is with this secret the author does exceeds us with her gift of powerful and profound writing .
As I say time and time again J.S Scott is not just a romance/ erotic / contemporary writer ! She's a writer who builds and expands her plot around issues and situations in today's society and in this read she choose another unspoken pain here .
Then there is Bryann love interest, Carter Lawaon. Carter is very familiar to emotional pain and loss but surprisingly he doesn't allow that suffering to impact his effort in embracing true love. His instant love at first sight for Bryann. I felt so embracing and and engaging throughout the read. It was so sweet that it allowed me to picture the entire story in my mind. Running in the park , the sweet conversations on the couch , her exploration of his home and how he lives. All the scenes were full of emotions and so sweet.
Moving further into the read there were visits from previous characters in the series and ..... drum roll ...... we were also give an engagement party of someone , I don't want to give away any spoilers. But I guarantee you will love it . Enjoying this read you will also get bonus material into the background of future read into Carter brother, Mason and his story that I am so looking forward to next .

Another hot, steamy love story that you must read today!! Super model Brynn and high tech mogul Carter could not be more different on paper but they both have a troubled past that they can not get past to be together!! When they finally risk love and lust for each other, it was extremely hot and explosive!! When a misunderstanding comes up, can these two learn to trust in each other or are they doomed to be alone forever??? Don't hesitate to grab this book!! Can't wait for the next book and Mason to find his HEA!!

Carter and Brynn's book is terrific! After seeing each other at a fundraiser Carter definitely wants to find out who Brynn is. Will they get a chance at love or will Brynn's past keep them from finding a happily ever after. Definitely recommend this book. Loved it!!

Brynn has such a unique past and secret, Carter take it all in his stride.

Brynn and Carter are perfectly imperfect. They know how to put on a show for the world, but not how to be true to themselves. Billionaire Unchallenged is a masquerade. A hiding of the heart's desires, but a feast of sensual delight. Scott takes us beyond the jerk that tried to break up Jett and Ruby. Carter is full of love to give, yet afraid to let anyone get too close. Brynn wants to be happy, but is afraid of what that means. From the first eye link to the ensuing heartache, Carter and Brynn had me hooked on falling in love. J. S. Scott is not afraid of showing that in love, we have to expose ourselves to the pain in order to get to a happy ending.

This incredible series continues as Carter Lawson, dedicated businessman and steward of the family business, discovers there may be more to life than work. Brynn Davis catches his eye at a charity function and then again when he realizes she lives in his building. She intrigues him like no other woman ever has but she's keeping him at arm's length. Brynn has serious trust issues so although she's hugely attracted to Carter she isn't interested in anything more than friendship. Getting past all Brynn's walls becomes Carter's number one priority.

Carter Lawson was a workaholic but lately he was realizing his life was missing something. Brynn Davis has been taking care of herself for years and trust issues with men. One look and these two were drawn to each other. Carter has to show Brynn that he is a man she can trust now can Brynn trust him in return. Another fabulous Billionaire novel. So ready for the next book in this series!!

Billionaire Unchallenged was the thirteenth book in the Billionaire’s Obsession series by JS Scott.
Carter Lawson was the brother to Harper, Dani and Jett from books ten, eleven and twelve respectively. He was a billionaire workaholic and the eldest sibling, always trying to fix things. He had never met a woman worthy enough to occupy his mind more than the moment they shared, until Brynn.
Brynn Davis was a supermodel who focused on the natural and healthy body type. Alongside her modeling she blogged and had a fashion company. She also had a history that wouldn’t allow her to trust men easily if at all.
Brynn and Carter met at a charity function. They connected immediately and recognized each other as the lost soul they were beneath the facade that everyone else saw. There was a lot of push and pull in the beginning from Brynn. I love a woman of independence but hers was annoying at times until she finally went with the flow. It then evolved into a journey of healing and acceptance while finding forever love.
In the end, it was a quick, sweet and enjoyable read without much drama. While enjoying Carter and Brynn, Scott also teased us with Mason and Laura’s interactions. Billionaire Unattainable is up next with Mason’s story.

This was a slow burn for me and I ate it up. Carter and Brynn lock eyes, eyes people eyes, at a fundraiser and they have instant chemistry. Brynn has trust issues, so she freaked a bit by their chemistry and left before he could come over to meet her. The next day, she sees him on the elevator of her building, fate is fate and Brynn wasn’t quite ready to give in yet then either. They both feel the crazy chemistry between them, but she tries to keep him at arm’s length and he really works for what he wants. When these two come together, it is explosive and I mean up against a tree kind of explosive. He wanted Brynn and was willing to work on her trust issues to be with her. Carter was a great guy, I really enjoyed how he took his time with her and was patient with her. I liked Brynn too, she worked with her best friend Lauren, both being super models trying to improve the body issues of the modeling world. I loved what they were about and what they were doing. Brynn had a pretty big wall around her and at times she really needed to lower it for Carter, because he’s a great guy for her.
This was a safe read, no om or ow drama. A little couple drama, but it all works out. She has a wall up, but for good reason. A little pushing away, but he knows what he wants. He is a great and swoon worthy book boyfriend. A slow burn with explosive chemistry. An epilogue and hfn. I really can’t wait to read Mason’s book now *jumps up & down*. Next book please, I always want more of this series.

I loved this book. We saw Jett fall
in love with Ruby and in this book we see Carter, the second brother, adamant that he doesn’t do love, still feeeling te guilt of his parents death and still wanting family and work. Brynn is a model and still struttsher stuff on the catwalk on jobs she chooses to do. Laura her friend has a boutique which caters for the normal woman instead of stick thin. Now the interaction between Carter and Brynn was interesting. Both a little broken because of their past with Brynn’s being a big one. As they navigate through a form of relationship it’s clear that Brynn needs to trust men after who her father was, she seems to love Carter and are going great until she sees him with another woman. Is he seeing someone else? Is there an easy explanation? Will it all work out.
We see Brynn shut down and be distance with Carter and he finds out why she was so quiet with him. He has a reasonable explanation and I am sure Brynn was really sorry about the sudden accusation. But will they work it out? I love seeing the dynamics between the two characters and loved he outcome. I can’t wait to read all about Mason and Laura.

But the beautiful woman who catches his eye at a charity function has his mind stuck in a loop and him doing things that he never does. Like kissing strangers. Brynn has trust issues that run deep and billionaire alpha males who think they can have whatever they want are not even close to the type of person that will get through.
Brynn and Carter crash land them selves together and Brynn gets the chance to see the Carter very few see but it’s the real man beneath the shell he wears for everyone else.
As carter falls deeper and deeper and Brynn tries to find the way to truly trust him they start to see that true love is not as hard as they thought.
I loved the seemingly simple way the story flows and you see carter slowly showing Brynn why he is worthy of her trust and ultimately her love.
This is another great addition to the series and you get a little peek back at Jett and Ruby and a preview of Marcus and what his future may hold.

I LOVED this book! Once I started reading, I could not put the book down until I finished it. Carter was introduced in earlier books in the Billionaire Obsession series but when diving down into his life, a whole new side of him emerged. As Brynn noticed in her first glimpse of Carter "I had to wonder whether anybody else could tell that most of what he presented was a façade." Carter's façade slowly disappeared as Brynn got to know him.
As for Brynn...WOW! I honestly had no idea what I expected for Carter's happily ever after but she is amazing. J.S. Scott did an amazing job of touching on the issues that models face daily and the reality that most people do not look like the models that are featured in magazines. In a world where appearances mean so much, a beautiful story was woven about Brynn's success and what she chose to work on as she slowly moves out of modeling.
There were definitely a few curveball surprises in this book that I was not expecting. I am hoping that in the next book, some of these curveballs are explored in a little more depth. Carter and Brynn's journey to happily ever after is one that I will definitely pick up multiple times.

I have been given an ARC copy to read and review. I have loved all of the billionaire books and never thought anyone could beat Simon but omg Carter is by far my favourite, he comes across in billionaire unloved as a cold unfeeling person who is determined to do what he wants when he wants, upon reading billionaire unchallenged that all changed the more we learn about carter the more I actullay enjoyed his story, he is so not like he lets people see, he is funny warm and caring and Brynn was his ideal match, I admit I wasn’t to keen on brynn to start with but once you read why she is like she is you understand why she treated carter the way she did. Carter never for one moment let her get away. This is an Absolutely amazing book J.S.Scott has done it again and I can’t wait for Mason’s book to come out.

The guilt that these two carry around for things that were not their fault pulls at your heart strings. It's crazy how we can blame ourselves for things that are out of our control. Speaking of control, Carter is an alpha male that liked to be in control. He didn't like that he didn't seem to be able to control Brynn or his feelings for her. Brynn was used to fending for herself and not depending on anyone. She finds herself hopelessly attracted to Carter but will she be able to trust him. She was "twitterpated" over him. When an accident brings them together, they find that "like recognizes like" so many aspects of their lives work together but that lust can't keep two people together. Just as they hit a rhythm and things seem to be working out, a misunderstanding threatens their happiness. Can love conquer past heartaches.

I've patiently waited for each and everyone of this series, desperate for the next family member to be revealed!!! So you'll understand I was keen to get hold of Carter's story. I got all my household jobs done because I knew I wouldn't be moving and boy was I right. I was catching up with the guys, the sparks and chemistry between Carter and Bryne jumped off the page, dragging me into the story, I had to see it through in one sitting g. I had to know if Carter would find her, if old hurts would mess everything up on both sides, would they make it, no spoilers but wow what a journey, I did gasp out loud and curse, and I felt the hurt, shedding a tear. So all in all a fab read, engaging, engrossing plus great edition in the series. Loved it!!

This is Billionaire Unchallenged: Carter, book 13 in The Billionaire’s Obsession Series written by JS Scott. This one is great! Brynn may be a supermodel but she is as full of insecurities as the rest of us. When she gets an in person glimpse of Carter Lawson she is awestruck! The man is sex on a stick! Would you believe that even billionaires can be insecure?? You won’t think so when you start reading but Carter can melt even your hard heart! What a nice dream, huh? Sigh...They run over a few hot coals on the way to their HEA but it’s a really worthy good trip!

With one glance Brynn is hypnotized by Carter they both can’t keep there eyes off each other but Brynn knows she needs to stay away. Brynn has a dark past and is scared what people will think when it actually comes out. Carter is a simple guy work and no play until he sees Brynn knows she is gonna be handful but he’s determined. Great romance story dealing with pasts and trust. Definitely don’t pass up! 5/5 stars

Billionaire Unchallenged is the thirteenth book in J.S. Scott’s Billionaire’s Obsession series. Brynn Davis is a model and entrepreneur. She and her friend, Laura who is plus size model, are bloggers that focus on body diversity. Over the course of their careers, they’ve realized that modeling is not all about being that perfect size zero. They focus their lives on healthy eating and not having that perfect ‘model’ body.
While attending a domestic abuse fundraiser, Brynn catches the eye of Carter Lawson. Carter just happens to own a technology company with his brothers and also lives in the penthouse in the same condominium complex as Brynn. After an unfortunate accident with Carter, they find themselves unable to stay away from one another. As they grow closer, Brynn shares with Carter a secret from her past that she can’t seem to unburden herself with that in the end causes hurt and confusion. Can Brynn learn to trust Carter and move on from her past?
I enjoyed the storyline, but I have difficulties with it being told in first person. I am not a fan of first person point of view. On several occasions I needed to reread a sentence because I was unsure who was speaking. I also found some of the word choices quite awkward especially when Ms. Scott referred to Brynn’s mother as ‘my parent’ on several occasions.
Another pet peeve I have is the dedication of a chapter to a point of view outside of the main characters. Ms. Scott has begun doing this to set up her next book in a series. I think this detracts from the overall flow of the book. She’d already introduced Mason and Laura as characters in the book. There is a way she could have set up the storyline without an entire chapter dedicated to these characters.
Outside of my issues with the writing, I did enjoy the plot. It was a good addition to the series.

This was a nice & sweet story with very little drama. I have to be honest , it was a bit cheesy at times but I loved that the characters were well developed, as well as their relationship. So often, there is so much background of past drama/issues that the characters & their love story is not build on. It usually focuses on sex and very little else. Not the case here.
In terms of safety there is no OW/OM drama - not before or after they meet. Heroine is not a virgin & Hero was a player of sorts as he stated that he had any woman he wanted in his bed but never wanted more from them.

Billionaire Unchallenged: Carter is the thirteenth book in The Billionaire's Obsession and is the story of Carter Lawson and Brynn Davis. Carter is a workaholic billionaire that I had my doubts about going into this book, after all he was a first class jerk in Billionaire Unloved, the story of his brother Jett. I even wrote in my review about wanting to strangle a couple of people in that book and Carter was one of them. But J.S. Scott fully redeemed him in this book and I couldn't help but fall in love with him. Brynn is a model who knows her modeling days will end but she has prepared herself for that for a long time. Brynn and Carter are kindred spirits and they are drawn to each other from the start, but people are not always what they seem and sometimes the past (and what a past it is) cannot be let go of so easily.
Carter and Brynn are both independent, wealthy, stubborn, and lovable, well most of the time anyway. There are parts of this book that are heartbreaking and some parts with Carter's brothers will make you laugh, but in the end they always have his back.
Five "unchallenged" stars for this one and I cannot wait for the next book in this series!

Me gustó mucho este libro, acá conocemos más a fondo la actitud de Carter que lo a llevado a ser así con las personas, donde el muestra una fachada hacia los demás, pero cuando conoce a Brynn todo se desbarata ya que ella es su Polo a tierra y tienen muchas cosas en común, cada uno se encargará de alejar todos los fantasmas del pasado para lograr ser felices y que siempre llega la persona adecuada a nuestras vidas.

In this book we get Carter Lawson's story and are introduced to Brynn Davis. Cater is convinced that the only relationship he will ever have is with the business he owns with his two brothers. However with Jett getting married and Mason holing up more and more in his cave at work he is wondering if there needs to be more to his life. All of that comes when he lays eyes on Brynn at a charity gala. Brynn has her own hurts from her past and isn't willing to let another hurt possibly come into her life. So she doesn't date and when she actually bumps into Carter she knows she is in trouble. He seems to be the one man who actually makes her want to say yes to a date. Can these two find a way to open their hearts and find true love or are they destined to be alone for the rest of their lives?
This is an amazing story. It really shows us that you should never wall yourself off because you can't know what will come next. There are ups and downs in this story I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will grab hold of you from the first page and not let go till the very end.
