Je trouve que prendre l'exemple des cuillères parle, qu'il permet de vraiment comprendre les difficultés ressenties (si la théorie est bien expliquée).
J'ai trouvé ça touchant et je m'y suis retrouvée.

I had heard this term before and today I’m feeling that I have to ration my own spoons. I’m privileged that it’s only occasionally that I get these migraines. My grandmother had lupus and my father chronic pain. Reading this it just makes so much sense to me.

I had heard and read about the spoon theory without ever reading this essay. I'm so glad I found it and read it.
It's wonderfully written, the analogy is clear and very helpful to explain how life can be more difficult for some people.
I loved how the author conveyed humor and emotions.
The short format helps get to the point and is very clear and concise.
Thank you for this essay, I loved it.

Short essay on explaining daily life for those in chronic pain, how the basics to some are triumphs for others. Good read for those trying to explain their chronic pain or for those trying to understand what a loved one may be going through.
