My goodness theres so much happening in this book i dont know where to begin. Book 3 is so fast paced that ive just finished it and my mind is still trying ti work it out. Everytime i think i have this series worked out i find something else out that completely throws me. Life threatening situations, missing people, underhand folks, lies, secrets, betrayal, misunderstandings............etc. It has it all and its jaw droppingly good as a whole series so far. Oh and that ending was killer!!! Wasnt expecting that at all. Im just loving it

Contender was amazing, heart breaking and everything in-between. The story is well written and flows smoothly throughout. We learn more about some of the other characters we saw in the other books. Relationships are stained, broken and developing throughout and we are left with another Garrett cliffhanger. Zara and Matty make the same tough decision, though the outcome was not what I was expecting. Jarrod is focused on a lot in this book and seeing this other side of him makes me like him more, though I have my suspicions when the book was finished. Can't wait for book 4!

This book, wow, I could not put it down until the last page was read. It moves along at a great pace, has characters are truly amazing and no matter what happens you want to see them succeed. The story will grab you and not let you go until the very last page is read. This is a must read, there is no doubt about it.

Yet again this crazy dystopian world is full of drama and surprises. Everytime you think you know what's happening another surprise will jump out and smack you in the head. I need book four now.

This story was amazing.
The way its written keeps you guessing thinking you know things and then bam! Twist, it really is exciting,
There's a part in the book that totally broke me but I understood it.. And I have theory's that I hope I'm right about and some that I hope I am wrong about. I have hope it will all work out though and the excitement in the book is off the Charts expecially towards the end (although make sure you have time to read this book becuase you will want to devour it, I was very stressy haveing to adult when I was interrupted 😂) I really can't wait to get my hands on the next two.

Omg y’all this book is wild. I read a lot of RH and I LOVE that this one is so unique. Zara and her boys are definitely not a cookie cutter kumbaya situation. There are secrets and fights and I just love the drama. By the end everything is in disarray and you’re literally heartbroken for her. I can’t wait for Defender. I really want to know how this is all going to end and whose going to be standing with Zara when it finishes.

This book! Seriously! I loved it so much. First of all the scenes between Zara and her men are just hot and left me a little hot under the collar! I love the fact that this story is written from multiple POVs as it gives you an idea of exactly how the characters are feeling, Cooper is just the most adorable too, I just want to wrap him up in cotton wool. Matthew now has one final test to prove he is good enough to rise above the position of an initiate, which will take place six months after he finds out that information. As usual, the Five won't make it easy for Zara or her men and the story has so many twists and turns along the way, and of course, some people have ulterior motives. In chapter 10, BC Morgan starts to add a countdown to each chapter, and wow did that make me start to feel tense. From there it's a countdown till the test that Matthew must take, that Zara has decided to join him in. They may not escape it with their lives. We also get to see a little more of Jarrod in this book, a nicer side where he's not as cocky but wow that cliffhanger ending less me shocked! Book 4 can't come quickly enough.

So many things happening to Zara in this book. She’s just come back from the outside only to be faced with new challenges. Who can she trust and who should she trust? Can’t wait for book 4!

Wow this third book was intense. Besides the whole Arena trial being more than expected and way more heartbreaking than I was prepared for, the relationships between her and her guys are also in turmoil. In the last book everything seemed to be going pretty smoothly relationship-wise but they are seriously messed up this time around. Ones that you think would be solid beyond belief slowly start to crumble, one person avoiding the other, and then there are surprising (yet predictable) bonds that form with other characters. I always love to see the reasoning to why characters act the way they do, whether they have a history affecting it or a current issue causing a type of mood they project. This book really brought things out in the open and broke down some of the characters for us to see their true colors. I'll even admit that some of the guys that I adored in the last book I don't quite care as much about in this book just based on how they reacted to certain decisions. I always wonder if authors giggle maniacally while writing stuff like this just to see how far they can push their readers. They purposely twist your feelings, make you hate the characters you love or love the characters you hate. Hopefully things will get back on track in the next book after everyone calms down and figures their issues out.

Contender is the third book in the Drop of Death series and it is my favorite! Things really ramp up for me in this one. Who would have thought that things could get harder for Zara than surviving the outside? Back in Isolene Zara has new challenges to face. The arena will be like nothing she has ever faced before. Secrets being kept and decisions that have to be made could end up being what tears Zara apart though.

Well, that escalated quickly! Will Zara always have to struggle to prove that she isn’t as awful as some people see her? The arena trials are finally here, and there are forces behind the scenes who keep throwing a wrench in Zara’s plans but in true Zara fashion she comes out on top!
The struggles her and Matty face before, during and after the arena trials will prove to destroy life as they know it the good and the bad.
Caleb is obsessed with things from his past and might be showing his true colors... Zara and Jarrod start to form a solid friendship. Who will be standing with Zara when all the smoke settles?

So with Contender we are book three in the Drop of Death series, and guys let me tell you, this series just keeps getting better and better. We get so many things happening in this book. We get to really see more about the guys, especially Jarrod. I needed to see more about him, and I am so glad that I got to. But not all the guys are getting with the program, so I am anxious to see where this goes. Will they be able to fix things before it is too late?
Also Zara is having to deal with the arena trials, and as always someone is trying to get in her way, but do you think that our girl will let that sand in her way. Nope.
The pace is fast, the characters fun, the plot amazing and really I cannot wait to see what happens next. I have a feeling it is going to be so freaking epic!!!

Want a rh series with twists? This is your book. Want a rh story with men that are unique as characters and as a group? This is your book!
I absolutely fell in love with all aspects of this book. Zara is an amazing character to read and her men just leave me in awe at how well they work within the story and with Zara. I've read a lot of RH but this series gives a different feel that you don't find alot within the genre. Love what Morgan has done with series from the start. And this third book was an absolute pleasure to read from the first page to the last!

BC Morgan has done another fab continuation to the Drop of Death series <3 I loved this book from start to finish. I was not prepared for the choices in the arena section! I adore most of her guys but this book has definitely left me conflicted between them. You can always guarantee to be taken on small twists and turns by BC Morgan throughout her series and this one definitely does. I can't wait for the next one and once again can't recommend this series enough!

This book did not go as planned... i thought i knew what was going to happen and then Ms Morgan just well screwed that up and kept me guessing throughout the book!. This was a fantastic read. Betrayal, lust, love, anger and pain feature heavily in this book and at times my heart just hurt. I cannot wait to see where the next book takes me

My goodness, this series just keeps getting better and better! If you’re looking for a book to get you all up in your feelings, this one is it. It’s full of twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat and loving every minute of it. Many questions are answered and new questions are asked. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to see Zara and the guys again and I cannot wait for book four!

So many answers and yet still so many new questions. Zara's journey is heartbreaking even as she comes out stronger. It's nice too see that she can trust her guys. Even Jarrod is starting to grow on me. I'm really curious as to what Jacob's plan for Zara is. I have a suspicion and I can't wait to see if it's confirmed.

Where has this series been my whole life? I came upon Book 3 so I needed to quickly catch up. And holy moly! I could barely catch my breath! This book has everything! Twists and turns, mixed with lies and betrayal! Zara and her guys are unlike any other RH I’ve read before. Can’t wait for book 4!

This book is a roller coaster of secret, lies ,Betrayals and misunderstandings. When you think you’ve got the story Figured out something else come Swooping in from the woodwork and totally blindsides you . Read this book and you won’t be disappointed 🙂

Another great read
Contender by BC Morgan is Book 3 in The Death Drop and the suspense continues. Lots of twists and turns, things heat up in this dystopian saga. Man a couple of woah moments but it’s a good read!

B C Morgan has done it again, Zara's journey has been absolutely heartbreaking but she is strong and getting stronger, finally she is trusting the men in her life also what is Jacob up too? So many questions and I can't wait to see what happens next a must read people

I’m a sucker for multiple POVS! This does not disappoint 🙌🏼 I loved all the twist and turns and how with every BC book I’ve read she literally keeps you guessing the entire time and I live for that!

Contender is a great addition to the Drop of Death series! I really enjoy the dystopian/urban fantasy elements of this series. Oh and don't forget about the RH aspect too! That never hurts. This book reads really well and very quickly. Intense is a good way to put this book. I have no idea where this series will take us next but I'm excited to find out!

This series started off strong, but it’s getting rather lackluster. I actually had to make myself finish this book instead of excitedly reading through as I have some of her other books like Hollow Hearts. I’m debating on whether or not to finish the series although that’s not something I would normally do.
As with the other books by this author that I have read, the writing is full of run on sentences, misspellings, and other grammatical errors. If an author has the occasional issue, it’s easy to overlook, but her books are riddled with them. They should be more polished before being released.
