Unbreakable is an emotional, second chance, contemporary romance written in Corinne Michaels’s Salvation Series World.
She was never mine to keep.
I fell for her in college when she was my best friend’s girl. One night, I risked it all and told her how I felt. That I wanted to be more than simply her friend Aiden. The stars aligned, and I thought she would be mine forever.
But in the end, she didn’t choose me, so I left it all behind to start over in New York City.
I never thought I’d see Sage again. That is, until eight years later.
To my complete shock, Sage shows up to my company’s meeting as our publicist’s new assistant.
And she’s… single.
But she says she wants to keep things between us professional. Polite. Courteous. As if our history can keep us from combusting.
The more time we spend together, the more we’re forced to face our past. A past that could push us apart once and for all.
Can two broken people like us ultimately share a love that’s unbreakable?

This is a second chance at romance except this couple was really not together. Sage and Aiden have loved each other from afar. They have always had chemistry in college. They got along well and made sure each other were always happy. But for Sage, she had a boyfriend who was best friends with Aiden so there wasn't anything she could do. When the two of them get close and Aiden professes his feelings, well things will change. Now years later they come face-to-face and boy is there so much between them. These two not only have to work together, but their feelings of hate and love are out of control. I loved how their story came together and how their past was shown through both their voices. However, with everything these two went through can they even be together? Or will the wounds be too much for them?
A sweet second chance romance you don't want to miss! Georgia delivered an emotional story surrounding two college kids trying to find their way. Sage was in a long term relationship already, but it was Aiden that loved her from afar and gave her all the support she needed. When she realized she felt the same about Aiden, he was gone; leaving her confused and devastated. Several years later, Sage and Aiden have a fateful run-in in NYC that shakes them both to their core. They are both left to finally deal with what happened between them in college and also what happened to them individually after Aiden left. After the dust settles, their reunion is everything I needed and wanted it to be! Beautiful writing Georgia!!!
This is my first book by Georgia Coffman and I'm hooked. She has a way for bring you into the story. Sage and Aiden story is about second change and a love that doesn't die. And fate that brought them together again.
Oh, this had me crying, screaming, swooning, and blushing all at once. The second chance Aiden and Sage is not easy and I wanted to throttle some characters at times. The chemistry is amazing and the characters are relatable. I couldn't put this down.
This book was amazing!! I really enjoyed the story!! It made me feel hopeful. I think that is what's great about second-chance romances.
Sage and Aiden were great together. Their chemistry was insane and intense. They were also a little stubborn , which annoyed me to no end as I knew they both felt the same towards one another.
I loved the poetry element in this book. Great job Georgia on those amazing poems. I can only imagine how hard can be writing poetry.
I also loved the second characters and the importance they played. Everyone deserve to have friends like that. Who are there to support you in your time of need. I also adored the secret trope that appeared!
All in all, it was an amazing book and I highly recommend it.
Thank you Georgia for providing me with an ARC in return for my honest opinion.
A true second chance romance at its finest. This book was full of emotion... I shed a few tears... I wanted to yell & throw my ipad (ok, I didn't though!.. I was swooning and blushing! It had all the right feels. Georgia Coffman played with my heart the entire book but in a good way! It was a beautifully written love story that features characters that could be real & flawed. Their story has its ups & downs, it will keep you invested from the beginning to the end.
This is a great second chance romance! The characters are flawed and real. Sage and Aidan run into each other after being apart for years and have to face their past in order to work together. Their story is full of ups and downs that will keep you invested in their story! If you like books that feature imperfect real characters then this book is for you!
Oh what an amazingly great second chance (kinda) story from one of my newest one-click authors. I loved everything about this story and that Aiden and Sage finally got their chance together.
This book will rock you to the core on all the emotions within you. You'll want to scream, cry, laugh and sigh... Such a great addition to the Salvation Society!
If you haven't taken a chance on Georgia, this is a great book to jump into feet first!
This is a very angsty, emotional, raw and wonderfully written story about second chances and forgiveness.
They’ve loved each other for a long time but circumstances and misunderstandings created a divide for many years. Aiden and Sage have a chance meeting after being apart for 8 years. Once the shock of seeing each other wears off their history and feelings begin to surface. As they work through the misunderstanding and circumstances from their past, new hurt and emotion come to light...are they strong enough to survive the past hurt, pain and lies?
Their work partners and friends are Sage and Aiden’s biggest support system and encourage them to talk and listen. As their working relationship/project begins to gain popularity and excitement so does the prospect of their future together.
Great book, I highly recommend. I requested and arc and I’m proving my honest opinion.
THE PERFECT SECOND CHANCE ROMANCE! This story was so beautiful and tragic. I was rooting for the characters even when they didn't always make the best decision. Their love story was dazzling. A fantastic addition to the Salvation Society and a must read if you are looking for an emotional, second chance romance!
GAH! I love second-chance romances! Georgia Coffman wrote an amazing story and I am so in love with Aidan and Sage's story! Perfect addition to The Salvation Series! FIVE STARS!
This is a wonderfully done second chance romance. Sage and Aiden had an opportunity years ago and fate just wasn't on their side, but now? Fate has brought them together eight years later and have an opportunity to see where their chemistry can take them. It's a story that will keep you engaged the entire time and will not disappoint.
Aiden and Sage's story is so heartbreaking and Georgia leaves you wanting to follow their journey into the next chapter of their lives. Throughout the entire book you find yourself rooting for the pair to work past their problems.
Georgia does an amazing job of world and character building. You truly feel like you are in the room when Jared is demolishing a bag of chips or find yourself wanting to give Sage's mom a piece of your mind. Plus, the way that Georgia is able to find ways of pulling in characters and places from her other books are great little Easter eggs for fans of her work.
It was heartbreaking and soul fulfilling. Georgia took us through so much but orchestrated it perfectly. At every turn she gave us what we needed. Mystery, conformation, drama, confusion, and love. It was truly a great book.
This is the first book that I've read by Georgia Coffman, and I must say that I really enjoyed it!
Aiden and Sage have always had bad luck with timing. When they first met, Sage was dating one of Aiden's college friends. But they had an instant connection to each other. Unfortunately, their wires keep crossing wrong. Fast forward a few years, and Sage shows up to help promote Aiden's new startup company. The chemistry is still there, but there are still hard feelings to overcome.
Unbreakable is connected to Corinne Michaels' Salvation series (particularly Beloved), and I loved seeing some of those characters show up.
A second chance romance that will pull on your heart strings. The past will come to light and the questions will be answered. Can the girlfriend and ex-husband stop them from being Unbreakable?
My first book by Georgia Coffman and I really enjoyed the characters and story!
Sage and Aiden were friends in college, falling in love but only from a distance as Sage had a long-term boyfriend. Once feelings are voiced and a night together, there is a lot of miscommunication/assumptions on both sides and they haven't talked in 8 years. They both are living in NYC and when Aiden's start-up company hires a PR company - Sage is one of the reps to show up. There is a lot of pain, angst, and a big journey of finding themselves, dealing with their feelings and wants for a future, along with tackling the new hurdles thrown their way. Can their love conquer the hurt from the past and be strong enough to build a future.
I am hopeful there will be more to come from the side characters in the future.

This book, my gosh! It had me captivated from opening the page! I couldn’t stop, which was challenging at times because I have three young kids constantly pulling for my attention. Do yourself a favor and one click this authors amazing story!!
I was very excited to read "Unbreakable" because I loved Coffman's last book ("Heartbeat") so much, but sadly, I ended up having mixed feelings overall. On the positive side, main characters Sage Matthews and Aiden Baxter were well-developed, and their emotional second chance romance kept me invested right up until the end. Aiden and Sage were close friends in college but lost touch due to a misunderstanding after Aiden declared his feelings for her. Sage subsequently got back together with and married her former boyfriend, Aiden's best friend Dave. Several years later, a newly divorced Sage finally followed her dreams to New York, where she met Aiden again because his company was a client of the PR firm where she had just started working.
My main problem with this book was the big misunderstanding that drove Aiden and Sage apart back in college and continued to cause problems between them when they met again years later. I hate big misunderstanding plots in general, and this one didn't do much to convince me to change my mind. Aiden and Sage had so many opportunities to tell each other the truth but chose not to (or only shared bits and pieces), and it led to so much unnecessary drama. It didn't help that Aiden acted like such a jerk for most of the book, completely refusing to take any responsibility for what had happened between them. Neither of them handled the situation perfectly, but if he had simply talked to Sage at the time instead of throwing a temper tantrum and running off to Europe, they both could have avoided a lot of heartache. (Lack of communication is a recurring theme with these two, and it's a huge pet peeve of mine, which is likely another reason why this story frustrated me.)
I did like Sage as well as many of the secondary characters, particularly Sage's boss Taylor (one of the original characters from the Salvation series), Sage's cousin/roommate Naomi, and Aiden's business partners Westin and Jared. Jared's stories about the crazy ex-girlfriend who set his apartment on fire, junk food addiction, and catlike ability to sneak up on Aiden made me laugh more than once. I would absolutely read stories about several of these characters in the future.
Despite my frustrations with this book, I remain a fan of Coffman's writing and will plan to pick up whatever she writes next. I would recommend "Unbreakable" for fans of emotional contemporary romance, though readers like me who are easily frustrated by big misunderstandings may want to steer clear of this one.

Sage came to NY to start her life over and obtain her dream. She had been in a controlling marriage with Dan. She had been living a life she didn't want to be in. She was hired by a PR firm. She had owned her own business back in NC. She was expecting to be able to get another chance to show her experience to her new job. Her first clients were a shock to her. She bumped into Aiden, the person she was in love with him in college. Sage, Dan, and Aiden were best friends in college. But because of a misunderstanding between them both, their lives went in different directions. Secrets basically destroyed their lives. Her firm is helping Aiden, Westin, and Jared launch their app. It's called Jock Stock, it's a sports app. It was created by the three of them but needed help to promote their products. Great work by both sides. Can she work with Aiden? Can she escape her ex-husband, Dan? Her past is always coming back to haunt her. But through all their heartbreak, they work at renewing their lives and love for each other. Lot's of ups and downs, but can they work back to each other? Great story of how misunderstanding and secrets can change your lives. But love and listening can help you make a great story to build a life together again. Many incredible things happen to this couple to pull them apart, but their love for each other is strong. I love Aiden and Sage's story and relationship. Great story by Georgia Coffman.
Unbreakable was a second chance story that truly had me completely insane. Not only that, I found myself feeling all kinds of girly girl emotions as I experienced the journey of Aiden & Sage who had such a push & pull that I wanted to choke them out, break things, and/or call the author names for this situation LOL. Aiden wanted her back in the day, she didn't choose him, and now many years later she ends up working where he works so let the stubbornness games begin. I'm not going to lie, as much as they frustrated me to no end, they felt like real people in real life since they were not only realistically flawed, but relatable which is where they had me ready to pull my hair out. I'm telling y'all, you want to read this gem of a story as I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Georgia, did it! She got me out of my reading slump after reading this second chance, workplace romance and my GAWDD.
The emotions and heartbreak I felt while reading this mildly angst. Aiden and Sage met in college by Sage’s boyfriend because Aiden was Dave’s best friend. When Aiden finally confesses his feelings things start to take a turn.
Eight years later and the heart break and wounds are still open and turned into regret, hate and pain. Sage and Aiden’s love was adjust so beautiful and painful with what Sage had to go through
TW ⚠️: Miscarriage
Miscarriages are a sensitive topic to women and the way the author portrayed it was just so beautiful and tearful 😢 💔
Aiden and Sage shared a close friendship when they were in college however Aiden wanted to be much more than friends however due to the relationship they both shared with her boyfriend it wasn’t meant to be.
Eight years later fate destiny brings her back into his life and not only are they working together but the chemistry and connection between them is stronger than ever. Will this finally be their second chance or will the complications of the past and present be too much to overcome?
This is an emotional story about two people who have always belonged together, and it is finally their time.
I fell in love with these characters right of the bat. An intense, beautiful second chance love story. Sage and Aiden were meant to be, a wonderful journey and a HEA I adored. I have read many of Georgia’s books and I am a huge fan of her style of writing. Sexy too.
