Excellent paranormal series. Much like other good paranormal writers, there was the usual angst with the human female finding out she's a "mate" of a dragon. In addition, most of them don't have any knowledge of men being part animal. Candace does a wonderful job portraying this "angst" to us while we're reading. A good writer has you quickly understanding and maybe feeling for the lady. The same with the dragons. She gives good descriptions of their intense and overwhelming drives to "mate" when they've been lucky enough to trip over that person. I can only think that we human males get that close once in a while. You're fortunate if you been blessed like that and had it reciprocated. The dragons had different temperaments, personalities, and different women. I particularly enjoyed that. We had women that were frightened, shocked, didn't want to change their life to let a dragon in, and one that didn't give a damn except he had already bit her and mating commenced. I can lose interest very quickly but I dropped a couple of other books I was reading to sally through all of these dragons and their stories. Recommended! Enjoy!

My second time reading all of these

And I fall in love with each man during each book. Like beast who is harsh and bossy and alpha all the way but sky puts him in his place quickly...she also comes with 2 teens to raise and he steps up in a big way, then there's Ceazer who has read everything about humans but doesn't get why cherry would need him to go dragon on her...or Blaise who mates Chyna quickly but thinks she's going to be a house keeper and puts him in his place then there's Remy who saves Lennox from a loveless existence or Armand who falls for angel who thinks she's the angel of death because everyone around her dies until Armand proves her wrong. Then ovead and margo...those two are spicy with a side of dang. Oviead thinks hell never find a mate because he had one he didn't claim hundreds of years ago who died...but she wasn't his true mate and he must save stubborn Margo

Awesome series!

I loved discovering this new to me author! I love her sense of humor, story plots and most of all the strong willed women who aren’t always sure of themselves until they believe what their mates tell them and by showing each of them their unwavering devotion! I loved these characters so much! I laughed, cried and stomped my foot right along side of these women! I wish we got to see more stories about the 2nd generation of the dragonets baby boom! Enjoy!

Dragon series

Dragon Series on meeting their mates. The stories are based in the Bayou. I enjoyed reading the whole series, very interesting Dragons who have castles in the swamp, and need to meet their mates before some eclipse or they could go mad, thankfully they all meet their mates before that.

That is one of the most amazing series l have read. On one of the books l was actually in tears but then it turns out fine. It would be nice if there was a follow up series with the kids of the dragons.

Awesome box set!

Candace Ayers is one of my favorite authors! She tells the best stories with the most amazing characters. The dragons 🐉 in this series were a handful but the strong females matched them perfectly. Definitely worth the time to read. Great job!!

Good stories but they could be Soo much more. There's times when it seems big chunks of the story are skipped over . It's as if the author wanted to keep each story under a certain word count. Instead of going into depth it's skipped over.

Fun series

These are fun quick stories of fated mates for dragon shifters from another world. I liked the quirkiness of the dragons not understanding human customs. And of course the HEAs.
