Two excited dragon Demigods expecting babies with their mates. So many unknowns.
Forge and Ava, the first couple to be expecting a baby. They are so excited and nervous since it's unknown how the pregnancy and delivery will go. Forge is very protective of her as well as the unborn child. They are now engaged to be married and not all his brother Demigods are happy about the idea. Ava his Oreo, since that is her scent he picked up on her has pregnancy hormones raging through her which Forge loves.
Night and Shannon make the announcement that they are expecting as well and that he is in love with her. His best friend Bolt, is not happy about this turn of events and abandons Night. Refuses to visit or speak with him.
Lyre takes over being the Ob-Gyn of Ava and Shannon. Since he has the medical training as well as his powers are to heal, Forge and Night are happy having him in that roll for Ava and Shannon. When they have their chance to get their first glances of the babies, they are so excited. Ava and Forge nickname their baby Bean and Night to Shannon's dismay has nicknamed their baby Blobby. Death visits his brother and sees the pictures of Blobby and he's excited he's going to be an uncle. Unfortunate for Death, he is still owned by their father Hades and must do his bidding. Death can't help himself and brings Bob the cactus back to life for Shannon as a surprise.
This book carries so much excitement for the expected babies as well as the unknown worries for how the pregnancies will go since these two are the first for the Demigods being fathers. There is the shocking incident that happens to Lyre that startles everyone.
Shannon makes an attempt to connect with her parents which proves to be a mistake for what they accused her of when she was introduced in the first book. She does make manage to bring back with her Cody. Her dog she had to leave with her parents when she left them. A happy reunion.
As the pregnancies progress things become interesting with the expectant fathers and the brother Demigods.
Such a great book to read. It holds the readers as a pager-turner. Never a dull moment with all the characters and that includes Death. Even though this is a short novel, Charlene Hartnady did not disappoint with this book.
Definitely recommend this book.

Dragon Shifter series. Author threw in a side of “Demi-god” for spice. Book hero’s personalities took on aspects based after their “Greek god” fathers. Can’t say that really added much for me personally.
Book’s 3-5 fall into a single overall story arch. You’ll want to flow one into the next. Not really stand alone.
Book 1. (4⭐️) Forge (Son of Hephaestus. God of fire) & Ava (down on her luck running from crime boss.)
Book 2. (3⭐️)Night (Son of Hades. God of Underworld.) & Shannon, tortured soul/ recovering AA.
Book 3. (2⭐️) Little Lords - book follows pregnancies of book 1 & 2 couples. Odd read. I found that it lacked a true plot payoff. And the overlap with book 4 threw me.
Book 4. (3.5 ⭐️) Lyre (Son of Apollo) Morgan supernatural PI
Book 5. (3 ⭐️) Bolt (Son of Zeus) & Ashley Bakery Chef

This was an awesome book to read! It is not a standalone! Make sure you read the other books in the series first in order! Each book builds on the other.
It's sort of like a bridge between books. It is all about the couples, and the pregnancies that have happened.
There are still so many unknowns in this series, and we are getting little clues throughout the book.
I loved reading more about Ava and Force, but we already knew about their baby. Then we get to read more about Shannon and Night. I am so excited to continue the series and see what the future will bring!

Loved it!!
Oh wow Forge and Night are now proud dad's, wanders never cease with these guys. Ava and Shannon are now best friends and mothers to two wonderful babies. I got so emotional when Bolt did a good deed to help his best bud out, and now Night and Shannon is married. I believe the void he was feeling was because he did tie the knot beforehand, but all us well now. However what the hell is going on with Lyre losing his powers, I have feeling this has something to do with the Gods (don't know why) but I have a strange feeling and I can't wait to see what happens next...but until then. Loved it big fan as always Winzie19 😊💞.

I loved this book! The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because Shannon irked me, but I did love Night. Idk. I get that she would be scared and Ava was too but not to the extent of Shannon. Maybe I was in a weird mood when I read this and that's why Shannon got on my nerves like she was whining/scared too much for my taste. I have nothing bad to say in regards to Forge and Ava's parts, I mean they are my favorite couple of this series so far, so I love them.

It brings in other Demigods & expands their characters which is something to look forward to in the next books.
Both couples are expecting babies but this is a new thing to Demigods as nobody has produced any children & now suddenly there are two on the way.
You need to have read the first two books before this one to get the best from it.
I’m so looking forward to the next one & there is an excerpt from it after this story.

A short novel. I must say I am pleasantly surprised. Charlene Hartnady has written more than one book off not one but 2 of the main characters in the books that came before. I didnt expect it. Was a little apprehensive I normally am not really into the (between) books as I call them. This book pleasantly surprised me and I loved it. It makes me also really curious what's going to happen with Lyre. It is a book that you cant skip and you wont be disappointed.

Babies and more babies 👶
Forge and Night have found the women meant for them and along the way both have fallen pregnant. Lyre is brought in to help with his healing powers as the unknowns are high especially for Shannon because she’s human and less so for Ava as she’s got some demigod blood in her😱
Suffice to say a very sweet short story with an introduction into Lyre’s story next❣️

Great story
Another good book in this series both Forge and Night and Ava and Shannon go through their pregnancies and births no one knows how things will go as these are the first as far as they know of children being born to Dragon demigods but things seem to progress normally and each little bundle of joy appears one boy one girl, however Lyre has lost his powers after sleeping with an unknown woman. Can't wait to get the next book in the series.

A bit short but lovely story
There’s not too much angst but I enjoyed this. This almost feels like a filler in between the main stories but There would have been something missing without it. I’m glad it was written and that I read it. I’m also glad it was in Kindle Unlimited or I might have been sorry to have paid for a novella length story, but since I did read it in KU, all is well.

The sweetest dragon demigod shifter families!

I loved that we got to see Ava and Shannon have their babies in a separate book rather than seeing it thru the eyes of Lyre's for example. It was super sweet and if you're reading the whole series, I recommend not skipping it.
I want everyone to know that I love Night with all my heart.
Next to Lyre's story, I'm curious to see him fall in love to and (hopefully) get his powers back.

A novella just for the littles
I didn’t think this book was going to have a lot going on since I knew it was about the expecting mothers and their partners. But I got all the usual, laughter, banter, steamy scenes and some other emotions with a little mystery.
Very happy for both couples and curious to see what the two babies will become. I am looking forward to Lyre’s book and his adventures in getting back what is his. 8.5/10 ⭐️

With every new book, I love this series more and more! This novella is just the perfect mix of Night and Shannon, Forge and Ava, and all the rest of the guys in their brotherhood. I’m so happy for Forge and Night’s new family with their babies and wives. Now I can’t wait to read more about what happened to Lyre’s powers and his mystery woman!!! Great read!

A nice conclusion to the first two books in this series. It was great to be able to see how things work out for Forge and Night, and their mates. It also sets things up very nicely for the next book in the series. As mentioned by other reviewers, this is not a standalone book. You must read the first two In order to know the background and be invested in these characters.

Enjoyed
I like this short story. In the beginning I kept getting confused as to who "I" was. Between Ava, Forge, Shannon and Night. I am still trying to figure out what the purpose of the Demi Gods are. I certainly can't wait to see what happens with Lyre finding his mate. He deserves it. I also hope Death finds his as well. What will that mean for Hades.

What a surprised read 😁
I've loved every delicious piece of this plot and I regret that it's over. This book will put you at easy, suck you right in as it's totally normal , I became rivited to the characters and their friends, so I recommend the series , starting with book 1. 😘

Couldn't finish at 37%
Drastic departure from the action, solid plot, emotive characters and strong writing from book 1. This is every opposite. I was disappointed that book 2, Night and Shannon's story, was a bit "fluffy". Hoped this short 3rd installment would reorient the series. I can't keep reading

This story is a cute and sexy update on our two couples Ava and Forge, Night and Shannon. We follow them with their pregnancies and births.
The issue with Bolt is addressed. And we find out that Lyre is our next story. I am so excited!!

Great followup
I loved this continuation of the storyline from the first two demigod's books. It really helped to fill in a void as a revisit to the previous two couples while hinting at the next storyline of what is to come. It ties everything together neatly.

Charlene Hartnady is worth every read.
Definitely a little different to her usual writing. Since it is more of a carry-on from the first two books. But still equally as good. More like a .5 book vs a full 3rd book to me. But was still a great read.

I loved how you wrote of Ava's and Forge's pre- attitude to the coming of the baby. Both of their attitudes were funny and true. And then Night's and Shannon's attitudes were funny to read and picture see.
