I've really enjoyed theae books and a new taste of vampires and humans. Dorian and Lyra never catch a break just hope what they lasts, lyra has lost enough. I really hope kane is found safe and well. I cried like a baby reading parts of this book. My emotions where spiralling out of control. So much happened alot of action. Cannot wait for the next book. Left me on the edge of my seat.

Just started reading book #7 over the weekend, and what a change in rhythm to Darkbirth. So far I am enjoying it, onwards and upwards to Lyra and Dorian, I do hope they make it happen.

The Fall of Irikus

This was one battle I wanted to witness. The battle between Ruk & Irikus. Finally the immortal ruler got bested by Ruk. Irikus was dishing out punishment to everyone he came into contact with. He is truly evil and only cared about himself and even used his daughter as a tool to carry out his evil plans. Ruk fought and fought and never seemed to even hurt Irikus, but finally the armor Irikus was wearing, the magic became unspelled and he was no longer immortal, Ruk finally defeated him. When he fell the vampires finished him. It was thrilling to see him fall. The scene was emotional, thrilling and sad because of all the chaos going on. The arbiters then needed to fix the planes that were collapsing. It is as a emotional roller coaster. One minute your happy a bad guy died. Then the next you are crying because the arbitors are trying to save the world. I will re read this book again.

Ahh, this was brilliant! Loved reading about Lyra, Dorian and Co's fight against the Immortal Council and the fight to get the tear fixed!

My only complaint is that we lost one of my favourite characters in this series and I can honestly say it literally broke my heart! 😢 Why, Bella? Why?! I don't want to spoil things for anyone else who might read this, so I'll refrain from saying anything else!

This series has been brilliant from the start and I can't wait to read the next part of Lyra and Dorian's adventures! Also, from the bonus chapters included from the next book, it looks like we'll be getting things from Roxy's perspective too, which I'm looking forward to!

Frustrating

This is my first review from this series, and it’s very frustrating. First of all without giving away much why you did that to Zack, Second you give so much detail about everything even what the person is thinking but when the time finally came and they are together as one all I get it hurt at first but then nothing but pleasure. That’s it. WTH. Lastly this series is dragging on too long. I read the review before I started this series and this is the first time I agree this should have ended awhile ago. I loved you Bella but right now I’m pissed off I hoped something change because I hated what happen in this book. Fixed it.

Epic

Dorian and Lyra’s story continues as they try to help fix the planes meld, now with a little help they return to the Immortal and Mortal planes to try and save the universe as they know it. There will be unexpected allies and sacrifices and if your aim is to see Dorian and Lyra’s story wrap up some this could be your last book of the series to read but the author has artfully continued the story while branching out to secondary characters-while keeping the original still in play. Is a masterful job and I will await impatiently for book 8 to come out in three weeks.

A daughter victimized by her father, a battle like no other, seemingly invincible brings, unclear alliances...yes...this book has all this and more. Gut wrenching, life sapping fierceness explodes for the pages leaving me gasping and wanting to either cry or shout for joy. Brutal...makes me rethink my reading choices and hope I’m always leaning towards good triumphing. What happens when that isn’t the case?
Needless to say, this battle does not end all but just heralds in more of the unexpected. Evil knows no bounds. All my reviews are always voluntarily written

Emotional journey

This journey was a roller coaster of emotions. So much happens in this book. so many twists and turns. I love how the castes come together and help each other. The best part to me is when they are working to close the tear. It really is an emotional part. I just love how it was written. The wedding was priceless! I do wish that Kane had been there and the parents. The wedding gifts were fun and so appropriate for the givers! Well worth the read you will not be disappointed!

What an epic roller coaster of action, emotion and holy crap moments.

I have loved this whole series so far and Darkfall is no different. The plains melding, the world's ending and taking on the Immortal leader.... not too much to ask is it. But its all in a days work.

I loved every moment of this story, how everything played out and the way the story evolved. I fell more in love with the main characters and loathed some more. I love how the world ending brought the family together. And the ending.... gah!

I loved this book

I wasn't keen on the last book and struggled to get through it but I've loved all the others and this one was the best so far. I think the phrase "at this point" gets overused and even Dorian says it in one of the books. What I do love is author's seemingly unending imagination. I love the characters and the relationships between them all. You actually care about them and this is what immerses you so deeply within the story.

Very enjoyable great reading

I really enjoyed this book and loved the characters. I was heart broken that Zach died I was hoping that he would be able to come back to life. Well any way can't wait to read more on them to find out what happened with some of their crew with what happened with the meld. I was happy to see Lyra and Dorian finally get married unfortunately with no family around I'm sure it was hard.

EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER!

I mean that in a good way. I love having my emotions being pulled at like I we price of tasty in a fatty pull. I also love her incredible battle descriptions. I don't know how she does it but it is an amazing picture of any battle to be had.
There is so much going on in this latest instalment of Dark light. In short I had lots of intense emotions and cried ALOT! CANT WAIT YO READ THE NEXT INSTALLMENT!

Brilliant! I absolutely live this series. Dorian and lyra are back in the immortal and mortal plain. Things in the mortal plain are not good and the tear is much worse than they thought. Like the others, this book doesn't dissapoint. It's full of action and suspense and leaves you wanting more. I can't wait for the next book x

The saga continues. Dorian and Lyra finally aid in mending the tear, but it comes at a great cost. They’ve won the war but the journey continues with more battles to fight and lost loved ones to find. Awesome book but I’m ready for the happy ending to the series.

I loved the twists and turns in this book. Defeating one enemy to have an old enemy emerge. The relationships between the characters developed and left me wanting more when this book eneded. I want to know what happens!

Spellbinding!

Good Storytelling!

You go to a High plane. They are literally up there roaming ardor most of the book, finally they get back to one check if a mess made me cry and laugh but crying was a big one. You get to love these characters.

Stunning

The conclusion to this part of the story was just phenomenal. How each character had a part to play in the plot. They are Still some questions which I want answers too and hoping they come out as the series moves forward
