I’m a princess in a tower. Well, sort of. I live on an estate with high walls and plentiful guards. My father is an important man, though I’ve never learned why. But I have learned to obey him or suffer the consequences. Even so, I have a life I understand and can bear as long as my tiger is here with me. She’s my best friend, my only friend. At least, she was until I met the strange man through the garden wall. Ronan. He isn’t afraid of my father. Isn’t afraid of my tiger. And the more we talk, the less afraid I am of him. I begin to hope he’s the prince who can save me from this tower … Until I learn I’m betrothed to another. But if there’s anything at all I’ve learned about Ronan, it’s that he doesn’t give up easily. But will I be able to escape my father’s plans or end up married to another man after all?
MINK's Note: Curl up with a [large] kitty and a coffee for this safe, sweet tale with a satisfying HEA.
This book gave me Aladdin vibes lol Daisy having a tiger name biggie smalls as a pet yes guys My reaction is the same as Ronan YOU HAVE A FKING TIGER??? 🤣🤣🤣 I did ask when the author was going to get a different cat pet well she gave us that.
Daisy is a very shelter life thanks to her father and he informs her that she is getting married to a man she doesn't know and shes only doing it because if she doesn't her dad well kill her beloved tiger.. near the wall she meets Ronan thinking he works for her father she begs him not to say anything theirs already a spark and it gets Lit even more when Ronan finds out Daisy soon to be husband is his bug a boo brother. This is a dramish mess I've seen lol. But their is a plan and Ronan shall keep his Daisy and his bitchy mother and bug a boo brother won't stand in his way.

I appreciate the idea behind the story, and the tiger was a fun character. But I don't like reading about over-sheltered FMCs, so this was a bit of a drag.
"His Tiger Queen" is the story of Daisy and Ronan.
A fairytale inspired romance, in which our trapped princess and her big pet tiger are rescued from her confinement by the hero. There is drama, as she is promised to his greedy brother. Loads of forbidden kisses, drama and a bit of bloodshed later, they get their HEA.
I adored Biggie the tiger and the epilogue was super sweet.
This story is full of funny dance scenes! Ronan stumbles upon Daisy by accident, over a wall. Daisy has lead a sheltered life and that is all about to change. Ronan does everything in is power to protect and claim his queen. Biggie is a great secondary character! Lots of OTT moments. Completely safe. HEA.
No sé qué pasa pero no lo estoy sintiendo con MINK.

His tiger queen de MINK
Argumento:
I can’t believe how hooked I am with these stories. This is like a mafia Rapunzel with an odd pet. Ronan and Daisy surely are unconventional, and I love them!
Dark insta-love with an adorably quirky heroine, a deadly pet, two mafia families, a wedding dress to die for, and a hero who will go Al Capone on anyone that threatens his happily-ever-after with his beloved.
Forbidden and almost Romeo and Juliet, this short romance is funny, steamy, and has more dark characters than good intentions. Yet it manages to still be sweet and cute.
I loved the pet, the stolen moments between lovers at the princess tower, the fashion incident with the tie, the insidious family, and the final twist that put love in its rightful throne. So cool.
Daisy has never ventured outside the walls of her father's estate. Kept locked away with only the company of pet tiger Bigge.
She's lonely and has no contact other than the guards and the servants. She wants more but she also knows she won't get it while she's stuck here.
Ronan runs the family business, it may not be legit but it's all he's know. But when he meets Daisy he knows he wants more. He wants her and her big cat.
With a cast of characters that would have no problem fitting in a tiger king episode you know your going to get an over the top story that'll have you wondering just as the series did.
MINK is an automatic one click for me. There's no drama (meaning there's no other woman) well none that you don't enjoy. A caveman who'll do anything to get his woman even if it means feeding those who try to hurt her to bigge.
Daisy has been sheltered her whole life living behind the walls of her fathers walls with her only friend Biggie, her tiger. That is until a man scales the wall, does she realize what she wants. Except she’s already promised to someone else who happens to be that mans brother. But Ronan is determined and nothing, not even family will stand in his way.
-safe read -no mention on H history -h is a virgin -no om/ow drama -epilogue around 6 years
Goddamn it did Mink just write a story HEAVILY inspired by Tiger King? Did an author actually write a whole ass romance based on a documentary that took the world and meme world by storm just a little while ago? Bitch, yes! I love this queen. 2020 is for sure a crazy one. Fk Carole Baskin, also.
Plot: Daisy has been ordered to marry a man she doesn't know. Her father doesn't care that she doesn't want to; he's kept her sheltered (re: imprisoned) her entire life, and now it's time to pay. The only solace in her life is her tiger; that is, until she meets Ronan. Ronan may have to challenge his family for Daisy, but there's no way he's living without her.
Commentary: Well, kitty kitty! Daisy's tiger is protective enough that a rogue guard certainly won't be a problem! Ronan gets a pass though; Biggie Smalls (the tiger) knows that he is there to love and protect Daisy too. This Rapunzel/mafia/Tiger King mash-up was a lot of fun, as in both funny and HEA-swoonworthy. I loved it!
I adored Daisy and her sweet, innocent, naive and awkward self. She was too adorable not to love (plus we learn she has a spine of steel in the end!)
Her relationship with her pet tiger Biggie reminded me SO much of a certain Disney princess who also had a pet tiger. This was the dynamic I saw so clearly in my head while reading this book.
Mink nailed the blend of dark and gritty and powerful life changing love and romance in this book.
My only turn off/word of caution is there are brief mentions of incest relations between two side characters that really stopped me in my tracks. Once I pushed past those it was an enjoyable read.
Didn’t care for this one. For one the heroine’s dad bugged me. He was unnecessarily cruel and manipulative towards his daughter and in the end they just forgive each other and go skipping into the sunset? Nope not buying it. Also I’m not a fan of heroines who are ridiculously sheltered and naive. This chick didn’t understand social cues, didn’t understand technology or even basic things like what a garage is. Makes me a little icky that the Hero just swooped in and starts pursuing her when this chick has had zero social interaction with anyone outside her dad and housekeeper. Nope again.
My first Mink DNF. This book just kinda hit me wrong from the start, like literally why didn't Ronan just say he was marrying Daisy at the start? Or why didn't he just take her away? I just didn't find him Alpha is the slightest and lost interest almost immediately. Maybe I'll try it again later when I'm more into this kind of story.

This one reminded me of Aladdin - you know, the Disney movie. At least in the beginning. Push through the first three chapters and then you’ll be hooked on this insta-love romance story! Sweet characters with a good story. 4.5 stars!
DNF 42%. I feel weird reading a romance book about a woman who, because she has never been outside her father's estate ever, has the emotional intelligence and life experience of a 5-year-old. I honestly cringed when she said that she wants kids more than anything because, well, she IS a child in all ways except physically. how about writing something other than a female character who conveniently only dreams about fulfilling society's expectations of women being breeding machines especially since this one, i repeat, /has never been outside her father's estate/ but instead of dreaming about traveling or getting an education she dreams about having kids?? really? by the time i stopped reading i didn't even want her to end up with the main male character because it felt wrong for such a worldly man to be with such an inexperienced woman-child. ugh
this was just not even a little bit okay. the conflict was so annoying, he could have just said he wanted to be the one to marry her and it would be all ok. BUT he just stayed silent?????? then he went and said that he couldnt do anything to stop it? what?
The MC was also very annoying, she acted as though she was like 10 years old the entire time. and they never explained why she wasn't allowed to have a phone? and never explained why she wasn't allowed to leave the house.
I devoured this book! The great plot was well written that as I turned each page the chemistry between the characters kept me totally hooked until the very last page!
She’s a captive in her house with a pet tiger to which her dad brought her to which her father is to blame because he kept her sheltered and away from people for as long as she can remember to keep her safe but at the start she doesn’t know that. She makes him out to be a bad man but he’s not, he’s just strict. She meets Ronan one day due to him being from the neighbourhood. They meet and it’s right after she’s been told that she’s promised to another and turns out it’s his brother, Timothy. Ronan is mad and doesn’t want her to marry his dumb and crazy fuck brother. So he basically sets in his mind that she’s not going to marry his brother. He comes into her room every night to cheer her up and also go down on her. The love is shown in this book so vividly that it makes me wanna cry. So basically his mum and brother are planning to get his Timothy married to Daisy because her father is a strong political man and can give them power over Ronan so he can’t take their money away to keep up with their lavish lifestyle. He hears all this in the dressing room of the bridal suite to which he gave her a quick orgy and was walking out and heard that. Her father always threatened to kill the tiger but never went through with it. The day before her wedding, her betrothed kissed her and Ronan went ballistic and nearly killed his brother. Her father took him out and basically said if he came back he would kill him. Her father was going to kill the tiger, Biggie but never did because this is where the plot twist comes in. He was a good man who just couldn’t show love and affection because he was just so sheltered to losing the love of his life to which was her mother to a hit that was placed on him. It was all a test to see if Ronan actually loved her. And he came through and on the wedding day, Ronan killed his dumb brother and Daisy killed his psycho mother who was obsessed with money and came at them with a gun and going crazy over her money being checked out. That scene was cool but the SMUT WAS WORTH IT EVEN THOUGH IT WAS ONLY 3 PAGES LONG. They have a kid and she’s smart as a whip and her name is Elgin. I think they named her after her mother.

First things first; I love the cover of this book! This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters loveable and the storyline enjoyable. Daisy has been locked on her fathers property all of her life. Her best and only friend is her pet tiger, Biggie. Ronan is used to dealing with his family drama. When he meets Daisy, he instantly wants her. When he learns that she is promised to his idiot brother he is determined to put a stop to it. Will Ronan get his woman? The chemistry between Daisy and Ronan is clear to see and I liked them as a couple. I thought they made a cute couple. I loved how possessive and protective Ronan is of Daisy. I loved how protective Biggie was of her human. I liked that Ronan accepted Daisy’s dangerous best friend/pet. I loved the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.
