Braden's life was falling apart after walking in on his wife and best friend having an affair. Disaster follows when she is set upon by a crazy old man in robes and his lightning flinging female friend...
Leesha was a humble elven princess, destined to give her life in sacrifice for her people. But inside her burns the heart of a sorceress. Born without the gift to touch magic, her long elven life has been dull and lifeless. That will all change when she is rescued by the man who will become her love and master...
Emma was a humble village healer, learning from her mother the ways of potion and poultice. Her brilliance was hidden from the greater world. Until the girl was Bonded, her hair and eyes changing to match the shining brilliance of her soul, and she was able to share that gift with the world.
Mina grew up daughter to an imperial duke, the perfect noble-born girl. As far as everyone else knew, that is. In secret, she trained with a weapons master. At first, for her protection, and later because she came to love it. What she learned for the joy of it, will prove a boon on the adventure of a lifetime.
In Book 2, the adventure continues with Braden and his harem journeying north to return Leesha to her home before the solstice festival.

Was better, then got worse
Well the obsequious, groveling dialog got toned down so that was good. The over all feel of book two is that the author is getting a handle on his craft. There are little touches of brilliance here and there. ...And then we get to the elves. Everything after that just ticked me off. I'm still kinda' mad about it.

The second book in this series Harem World: Book Two starts right where the previous book left off. The Harem Mage with his four wives takes to the sea for this next part of the adventure.
I liked the sea battle, although I wish there would have been a little more combat before the end. I can imagine how badly the five people must have smelled after nearly four weeks at sea.
There is lots of sex in Harem World: Book Two including MFF, some group scenes with all members of the harem, and some lesbian love between the ladies. None of the sex scenes slid into the word porn category, but not FTB either.
The only thing I didn’t like was at the end of the book the Harem Mage sleeps with the elven queen. My main complaint is that only one harem member (the queen’s daughter) gave permission for the queen to have sex with her husband. All members of the harem should have been consulted before the Harem Mage had sex with the elven queen.
I don’t like casual sex and I do not like it when harem members sleep with another outside of the harem that is not going to join the harem permanently. As this was right at the end of the book, I am hoping that the third book will explain why the harem mage sleeps with the queen. I am hoping that there is a reason for the harem mage having sex with the queen and not just so the author could toss more sex in the book for no purpose.
I am looking forward to the next book in this series as I want to see what happens with the newest tentative addition to the harem (not the queen). I also want to see what the opposition does against the harem mage and his harem.

Enjoyable storyline
Wait, the hero didnt save a damsel in distress? What is the world coming to? More sci-fi elements appear to be on the horizon as there is an artifact in low orbit around the planet above the Dark Queen's lair. Meanwhile back in the Empire, the established mages and the army are preparing to march against the Dark Queen's undead minions. Of course they view the MC as a wild-card threat to the status quo so there is yet as another target on his back. Surely they will learn that when you mess with the bull, you also get the horns.
On another note, the MC was not reluctant to have a family affair with the 7 elven sisters as well as the hot mom. If he's got it like that, why not go for it?

Braden continues to travel this new world trying not to attract to much attention to himself an his one alien companion that he found injured and tried to rescue her when he was transported an killed doing so . They find common ground an they both learn together how to navigate this world together. Learning to delve dungeons killing monsters rescuing women in the clutches of evil an about to be sacrificed to the Queen of Death . Also by doing so rescuing the women they become his next future companions an well as he is titled an known as the Harem Mage .recommend reading excellent series .

Deep Love and Trust maketh a Happy Harem
What a powerfully moving story, between a Harem Mage and His Harem. The forces against them so powerful that the world must fight for its survival through the person from another world. Though, it's so hard to forget the demons of his past that he tries desperately to keep locked away in the deepest parts of his mind.
I felt my bringing up as simular and my own internal demons, but to unleash them when threatening his harem is unsettling.
I can't wait to see how far into the elven kingdom of women he will seed...😉

Book 2 Delivers

The author tried and failed to create high tension. Several times I had to put the book down due to such idiotic decisions by characters. Storming can not properly plan out a world, this felt half baked. The part with the elf's was so dumb I wanted to reach through the book and slap the author on the back of the head.

Thoughly enjoyable, building well on the first book and developing the characters, answering some questions left in the first book and posing morefor the next, enjoying the potential of the new characters and looking forward to the next book.

Quite a step up from book 1 in many ways. More emotionally driven for sure and the pace felt more even. The magic system is still convoluted and mostly unexplained, but that's just how it is. Also this barely qualifies as litrpg/gamelit, but still very enjoyable. 👍🏾👍🏾

Enjoyable book.
The author has started to flesh out the characters so that we can have more of a emotional connection to hem. The pacing was good and I enjoyed the world building.

An excellent continuation
The story continues just as well as it left off, there's enough storyline and twists to keep interest. The combat is fast and well written.

If you enjoyed the first book, the second one picks up where book one ended, new cool powers, terrifying enemies and beautiful new allies

This book and the last two really got bogged down in the MC's angst and mental health. It turned a pretty good story into a slog-fest I was happy to see done.
