Do you want a deeper connection with God but can’t seem to get it? Do you feel stuck and don’t know why? Are you frustrated how easy it seems for other Christians and it makes you think you're doing something wrong? Does your heart feel numb like you've lost the fire? For over a decade now of preaching and teaching around the world, I've watched thousands of Christian men and women struggle to connect with God because they're trying to solve a problem that Jesus already solved with the CROSS! I wrote this guide because it’s what I wish I had in my hands when I first began my journey with God to avoid years of feeling as though I was a disappointment to God. Keep the Blood Warm is a 30-day guide that will lead you - Start your transformational journey towards intimacy with God - Experience lasting peace and joy - Learn to pray and walk with God daily This guide will show you that our spiritual health and connection to God depends on your ability to do three simple things. Through a guided time of remembrance, communion, and thanksgiving, my hope is that your heart will light on fire and never burn out!
I loved this book. A simple devotional but if done how the author suggests—twice a day, writing the scripture out longhand, taking communion alongside—it is profound.
I think I’m going to walk through this one with my son. Highly recommend.
Such such such a good devotional. Strengthened my heart for the Cross, my view of my own sin & my daily weaknesses. Honestly so comforting and convicting at the same time
I enjoyed the depth this devotional had to offer in addition to the daily scriptures interwoven with each chapter. However, I did find it somewhat repetitive and without progression. Otherwise, it was well-written and I appreciated how the author truly kept the focus on Jesus.
It was a good devotional to add to my daily routine. However, it did not take the approach that I thought it would. I was interested in how he would use the idea of the priests, sacrifices, and blood in a daily devotional. While he dealt with this in the portion of the book leading up to the daily readings, this concept seemed to quickly turn into (good and solid truth) general application.
This was a lovely devotional but a missed opportunity. Suggested at the top to be a devotional based on comparing the Old Testament Levitical practices to what Jesus did on the cross, it instead was just 30 devotionals on the latter. They were good devotionals, I got really good stuff from many of the days, but it wasn’t quite what I thought I was going into.
At first glance I wasn’t sure this little book would have much for me. But, I have used it to facilitate morning and evening communion for the last 14 days and God has spoken to me something significant through every entry or Scripture.
it’s simple & straightforward. repetitive, but intentionally so. if you are looking for a way to cultivate good habits & purposefully incorporate the Lord into your every day then this is good!
Good devotional from Peter Louis! Keeps to similar themes from Peter’s other books. Great way to incorporate daily reminders of the main ideas from his other books into your routine.
