A first-grade teacher goes from saying goodbye to her students for the year one day, to ending up the next night on a deserted country road with a body in her trunk
This was a thoroughly enjoyable stand alone mystery! The plot kept me guessing until the very end revelation and the characters were so fun to read. I would classify this as a perfect balance of cozy mystery with dashes of light humor and some dark humor as well. The mystery of "Who Dunnit" was clever too!
One of the many things that I appreciate about Steve Demaree’s writing style is that all of his books are clean (no foul language) and they are so very humorous… This one is no exception. A very good murder mystery!
Another great book by one of my favorite authors! This is a stand alone mystery, and different than his other books. Great characters, good mystery, and lots of humor! Highly recommend it!
The story picked up speed as it went along, and was so fast and exciting toward the end that I couldn’t put it down. Another Steve Demaree mystery winner!
A fun cosy mystery, which is completely different to anything else I have read by Steve Demaree. An excellent easy read with well-written characters and a plot that moves at a steady pace. Recommended for fans of the cosy mystery genre.
