Mica:
It’s been eight years since the boy I crushed on in high school became a memory for me, yet seeing him brought all those old feelings rushing back as if it had been yesterday.
Too bad the timing is shit and I can’t trust his lifestyle any more today than I could back then.
Too bad I had to trust my life to part of his lifestyle, because I was in trouble. Big trouble. Huge trouble. I was in the type of trouble that gets people dead, or worse. Yes, there was a worse, it came with what they would do to me before the dead part.
I’d witnessed my best friend’s rape.
I’d testified against the man who had done it.
Unfortunately, half his family ran this town by planting themselves firmly in local business, government, and law enforcement positions. The other half ran a criminal underground organization that catered to running drugs, guns, and girls to those who could pay.

I stepped in it deep by trying to protect my friend who didn’t stick around afterward to have my back. Now, the only person I can trust is the one I flat out do not trust with my heart. My heart may just be the price I end up paying for my life though.

Crusher:
I wanted her back then, but knew I wasn't good for her.
Now, she needs me.
She needs my club.
There won't be any going back once we get started.
Mica will be mine like she should have been from the beginning.

What I liked: I liked how Mica(h) stood up for herself. I also liked how Crusher/Adam(H) finally got his shit together and started doing things right by Mica. I loved the cw drama.

What I didn’t like: I hated what happened to Mica’s best friend and the brother. I was really hoping she would have ended up with one of MC guys.

***Major Spoilers/ Details/Triggers: Suicide and rape of a friend and some cw drama. h runs into the H and starts talking to him. H and h went to the same school and H wants a chance with the h. h is unsure if she wants to take a chance due to the woman at the H’s club. H is the president of a MC. h and her friend was drugged and the h’s friend was raped by the mayor’s nephew. h’s friend leaves with her brother leaving the h to fend for herself after the nephew is found guilty (the mayor and his brother are threatening the h). h goes to the H for help and hears him having sex with a cw. H tells her that he thought she ghosted him and that is why he was with the cw. h tells him about the court case and then after her. H tells h that she is staying at the club and that they will protect her but she will have to become his old lady. h is leery at first and she decides to stay but tells him no cw. The mayor and his family cause problems and the cw also cause some problems. H is seen on the couch with cws after he just announced that morning that the h is his old lady. h gets upset and leaves. She goes to her mom’s best friend and she gives her some proof of some wrongdoing the mayor is involved in. H realizes he messed up and realizes the h left. She comes back to the club after she tells one of the other club brothers to come get her and not the H. H and h talk and he tells her that he messed up and that it won’t happen again. Again the mayor’s family causes more issues (blowing a hole in the club house wall, kidnapping two cw, killing the best friends brother and kidnapping and raping the best friend). H gets the one cw back and the best friend and kills the mayor’s brother. h tries to help but the best friend but she commits suicide. H makes a deal to get money for a new club house. H and h finally are in a good spot with the cw being put in their place and h helping the club doctor out. (This took me awhile to write so I might have left stuff out or messed it up a little) HEA

Descriptive Sex: Yes

Final thoughts: This was a good book. I just wished she had more sexy time in her books ;)

Mica and Crusher the fool.
This was fun for the first 2 thirds but once their romance stuff was resolved, it became about the bad guys, who were OTT silly nut jobs.
He has crushed on her since high school but never had the cojones to go after her. I guess he did get warned off by her brother. But mostly he just thinks he isn't good enough. SO of course he has spent the intervening years in one long buffet of skankiness.
Mica always was attracted to him too, but he didn't seem interested at the time.

I loved her 'tell it like it is' speeches to him. And of course there's the other biker friends who are free with their comments about his idiocy.
The story starts with Mica running to the biker compound in fear for her life. She had been kidnapped by the evil dudes but got away and was able to get one of them sentenced for his crimes. Now that guy's family are out to get her for revenge. It was all pretty ridiculous and OTT.
ANYways, we find out that Crusher (Adam) had been trying to get her to date him for 3 weeks, and when she gets to the compound she finds him having sex with a club ho.
Then when they are finally getting past that and he's dug himself out of his hole, she catches him sitting on a couch with 3 of the club hos rubbing up on him.

So yeah, he's not the brightest bulb.

But it was fun for the first half or so.

TO be honest. I quit reading it around 90%

Safety is OK i guess.

Oh Crusher

This book reminds me how well Christine writes those men who are just dumb as far as women are concerned. And how strong the women are that they choose as their partner. This guy, bless his heart, starts off on the wrong foot with his woman, and for a while blunders from one mistake to the next. Luckily for him, she's in trouble so can't really leave and go anywhere else.

Oh, but when he gets his act together and the club really come together to do what they do best, this man really redeems himself, and he truly learns what a powerhouse his woman is.

I love this series of books, and this one, while not as emotionally charged as some of her others, still earns 5 stars. Another masterclass in how to write an MC story.

So I started off really intrigued with this book, the plot was engaging at first... But then I started struggling to find any redeemable qualities of the characters- mainly the main female. All the men are willing to go against their clubs president for her without knowing her more than a few minutes. Which was weird at first, but developed into an annoyance by the 40ish% market. Additionally, she is always a victim to the other female characters which got extremely annoying. I get what the writer was going for, but there was absolutely no depth to this character. Whenever she is thinking/ talking to (or about) another woman there is a distinct (and annoying) pattern. She fakes concern or liking for the other female, then pulls her victim card out and a venomous end to her thought process. For example, another girl in the club- she sympathizes that the girl is manipulated by someone else, but in the same breath condemns the girl to a horrible fate.... I couldn’t read much beyond this. It was the umpteenth time she had done this and that columbines with all the me. Willing to betray their club rules for her - without even knowing her... I had to stop reading. It was incredibly annoying! I could’ve gotten on with this book and enjoyed it, if there were better character development and less victim- playing. I don’t recommend this book, it starts out so good but deteriorates quickly.

This is a bit darker than I usually read, but it totally worked here. I lived that it was fasted paced and there was so much going on.
I really enjoyed this story Mica and Crusher totally worked and made this a wild read. Crusher was all over the place and need to get his shit together but he knew what he had always wanted and went after Mica.
Mica had been through the wringer and was not in a good place but had always crushed on Adam or Crusher. Then all the craziness that came along with her court case. Then all the action and good stuff happens. I really enjoyed this story!

page turned that can't be put down.
This is the story of Crush and Mica. Crush is Prez of the Tallahassee chapter. Mica is a nurse who went through some serious stuff and now needs protection. They both knew each other in school. They both have issues from the past they need to overcome to be together. This is a wonderful story. This love story keeps you enthralled from the first page to the last page. It's a stiry of their growth together to overcome everything thrown at them. If you read this just make sure your free to do it because you will not put it down.

Okay, where do I start.... I think Christine has a writers recipe, she just chucks in ideas and out pops this awesome book... if only it was that easy, but for me, she gets it right every time. This is a MC romance, but the MC theme does not overpower the characters or the story line at all. Crusher, yes I wanted to crush his scull in at the beginning of the book, had to redeem himself. Mica, who is a strong female lead, does not make it easy for him. Be ready to read it, with out putting it down. Yes it is one of those books.

Crush is the president of the Ace’s High Tallahassee chapter . When Mica shows up at the clubhouse to get protection things seem to fall apart . I have to admit Crusher wasn’t real bright and was a slow learner . He had a hard time putting his whoring ways behind him but eventually he got himself straight and became the man Mica needed . I couldn’t put this book down and read it in one night . Mica was a fantastic heroine and I loved her . She was also very good for the club. . Like all of the books I’ve read by this author this story was so good . Don’t miss out !

I've seen many authors ask for readers' opinions so they can improve their work. What I don't understand is how, in the 21st century, they still find attractive to write about characters who are supposed to act like adults, but have the emotional maturity of an 11 year old child. And still insist on this despicable cliché of double standards?! Yep.

Let's not forget the typical scene which the h has to submit to sleeping in the same bed where the guy has fucked every woman in the place, including the one she had to listen to him having s*x one day before! (this while he's trying to convince h that he wouldn't be that kind of man - for two weeks). Yes, you will find every other cliché too, besides that one in this book)🤢🤦‍♀️

Wow! That and the whole context is surprisingly original!🙄 How nice it would be to read about bikers without feeling like you've already read the same book over and over and over again!! And 1 star because at least h had the intelligence to remember about preservative (since it's asking too much for an author to correctly refer to the STD immune window) 🤷‍♀️

After becoming heavily invested into the Charleston chapter, we're now moving to the Tallahassee chapter. At first, I wasn't sure that they could live up to Christine Michelle's fantastic MC writings. However, I was happy to see that she never disappoints! I've now read this book several times and each time I get a better perspective. However, there are certain things that remain true:
1. Crusher is an idiot! Seriously, you will want to punch him and that's not even leaving the first chapter of the book.
2. Mica is a fantastic female character. She's a lot better than Crusher deserves! Her best friend didn't deserve her---neither does Crusher. I digress!
3. The secondary characters are outstanding! I absolutely loved Court, Van, Cage, Sunshine, and so on.

Overall, this is fantastic way to introduce a new chapter! I can't wait to see what happens in the future with this MC group!

Aces High Tallahassee

If you're like me and have already read about the other Aces High chapters, this one gives some context for things that go on in those books. Then I worry that this one was written first and this is the only one for the Tallahassee guys. Crusher and Mica are awesome and I think I have a slight girl crush on Mica. She's not perfect but she's strong and classy. I had my doubts about Crusher in the beginning but he managed to redeem himself. I can't wait to see what happens next. That teaser at the end definitely did it's job. Would begging make that happen quickly? I highly recommend starting this chapter of the Aces High guys.

This was another wild ride from Christine Michelle. I loved Mica and the strength she embodied when she sat eye-to-eye with injustice. She stood tall and immobile for those in need and I enjoyed the way her presence impacted the club.

Crusher was well rough around the edges at the start but with the help of his club brothers calling him out on his idiocy, Mica also helped temper his trauma. These two found such a special connection and it was a lot of fun watching it play out.

I cannot wait to read more about other members of the Tallahassee chapter

Insta love for Mica! She stood her ground, she took all the crap dished out at her by the whores in stride and kept her head up! I've never wanted to junk punch a character as much as I did Crusher though! Oh my god!!! Dude!

This was an awesome intro to the Tallahassee chapter of Ace's High MC. We learn a lot about subjects previously mentioned in the previous books I've read. It's definitely one of my new favourites! And I am pretty hard to charm when it comes to my favourites!

Looking forward to the next chapter of Aces High MC.

Great Start to a new series !

This book was a good start in the latest chapter of the Aces High MC. Crusher and Mica were great. I loved "meeting" the new characters. They definitely caught my attention, especially Court and Van. I hope to read each of their stories. Again especially Court. Lol

I really enjoyed this book. It wasn't perfect. There were a few editing issues but overall the character development and the storytelling more than made up for the small flaws that were easily overlooked. I really hope the author writes more books in this series.

Crusher and Mica have history, they knew each other in high school and recently met again by chance. Could she trust him now he was with the Aces High MC?

Standing as a witness in support of an assault on her best friend, against a man whose family run the town puts a huge target on her back. Abandoned by her friend after the trial and all alone, she has no option but to go Crusher for help. What she finds has her defences on high alert and regrets ever thinking she could trust him.

Crusher makes several mistakes that would take a Saint to forgive, can Mica?

This is a one sitting page turner, full of danger, twists, angst with a male lead that you want to injure but at the same time hope he can redeem himself.

I could not put this down!!
I loved the push & pull of Crusher & Mica’s relationship. I knew he was going to be a new fav of mine from the first chapter
I love that Micha had Court in her corner - I can’t wait for his story, I hope you make it super nice and he gets the woman of his dreams!
Crusher really grew as a character and I loved how they both evolved. I can’t wait for Van’s story and I need Rabbits.

Crushed (Aces High MC - Tallahassee book 1)

Crushed and Mica knew each other in high school. They were both reunited after several years, both had different careers goals. Mica became nurse and Crushed was the president of the Aces high Mc.
Mica and her friend was drugged sexual abuse . Mica enters the MC life with Crushed and becomes his old lady. I enjoyed that the author included other characters from previous books.

Strong storyline

I loved this storyline but wished for a little more depth in the action. All the action was kept in the background, and although I have read other of this authors books this shouldn't suprise me as they tend to be like this. The characters were carasmatic and well developed nomatter what place they held in the story. Still a really good read and I'm on. To the next one.

Crusher, the 1st book about Ace's High Mc:Tallahassee was not as riveting as other Aces High MC books. It just didn't grab me, main character-wise! The drama/conflict that came to the MC was well handled & I look forward to reading more about the secondary characters including Chase, Van & Cage. I found little to feel any positive response to either Chruser & Mica. Further books might change my reaction as their relationship develops/matures.

I couldn't put Crushed down!!!

Such a great book. Mica and Crusher knew each other in high school and neither of them knew they had crushes on each other. Mica was in a situation and needed help and went to Crushers club house for help. More and more things happen and then people after her and hurt the people she cares for. It's so involved you can't put this book down.

Ok, but not my favorite of hers. I formed too much of a negative opinion of Crusher to truly believe he’d end up as a good guy for Mica. He was kind of a pig and seemingly oblivious to it, which does not jive with role as President of newly turned around MC. Just didn’t believe he’d be that clueless. I did like that Mica voiced her concerns and didn’t jump into their relationship.

crushed it

I was totally gripped by Crusher and Mica’s story, it had everything a good MC book should have, alpha male bikers, cheeky lovable prospects, club whores to hate, a tart with a heart, feisty heroine and hot sexy scenes. I definitely need more.

Crusher has a lot of habits that he corrects during this book. Him and Mica make a powerful couple. She brings a lot to the table. She has been through emotional hell. My heart broke for her. But they end up stronger together. I loved all the characters. I can't wait to read more.
