Vince I’ve been hurt before, but Shayne makes me want to try again … I haven’t been lucky in romance, and for the past twelve years my daughter Charlotte has been my number one priority. But my senses go crazy every time I’m around Shayne and my inner wolf is convinced he’s my fated mate. He fits right into my family, but he doesn’t know a thing about shifters and I don’t want to scare him away before I find a way to convince him to stay in town. It all seems too good to be true - but maybe this time, love will last.
Shayne He adopted my daughter and now he’s stealing my heart … Giving my kid up for adoption twelve years ago was the hardest thing I ever did. I never expected to see her again, and I definitely didn’t think I’d fall for her hot firefighter father. I’m not supposed to stay in Timberwood Cove for long, but when Vince asks for my help, I can’t resist. It doesn’t hurt that his kisses are hotter than the fires he puts out! But he doesn’t know who I really am, and if he finds out, I’m afraid it will ruin everything.
A hot firefighter dad is determined to claim his mate in Shayne’s Hope, book twelve in the steamy Timberwood Cove series. Each novel stands alone as these shifters find true love and claim their mates.
Over all this was a sweet relatively low angst quick read. The only thing is that Shayne should have said something right up front. Yes they both had a secret that they were keeping from each other, but Vince's effected an entire species where Shayne effected just them. We have Shayne who became pregnant at 17 & the father of the child took off. Shayne realized that there was no way he could take care of his child on his own and make the ultimate sacrifice by giving her up for adoption. What Shayne doesn't know is that the father was a shifter and that the baby was one as well. 12 years later, while Shayne is in Timberwood Cove for business, he see's a child that looks so familiar to him. He also sees a man that he can't get out of his mind. When they meet again, he finds out that she has some issues that he does, allergies as well as being lactose intolerant. He knows for sure that she is the little girl that he gave up all those years ago. We get to see these two slowly fall in love. Then when Vince is sure that Shayne is his fated mate, he comes clean to what he & Charlotte are. Needless to say Shayne doesn't take it very well. Then Shayne comes clean on who he is & Vince looses it. The anger doesn't last long & we get to see these two get their HEA. Even though this is part of a series, it can be read as a stand-a-lone.

This was very sweet. I loved that Charlotte was the glue that held this story together. It was such an important pull to draw the two MC's.
With relatively low angst, this was a good listen that flowed relatively well, but there were lots of characters from previous books mentioned. It's considered a stand alone, but it's sort of nice to have the background from the previous stories.
awesome addition to this series.. very good story.. good characters and i really like these mcs. they are so much fun and sexy and interesting. plus i enjoyed the twists that happened and i didnt see coming. very good
Shayne Moore at 17 was not ready to tell his parents he was pregnant. His best friend, Hogan, tried to keep his spirits up, but Shayne was devastated. His parents took it fairly well, and they even tried to get the father of the child involved. But all they offered was to refer him to an adoption agency. Shayne’s family was barely getting by as it was, his dad having just lost his job, and they could not afford to care for a baby. Yet they left the decision to Shayne. With a breaking heart, he lied and told them he wanted to put the baby up for adoption. There just wasn’t any other choice for him.
Vince Song was a 37-year-old firefighter and the 24-hour work shifts were starting to wear him out. He headed to his pack mate’s house and his 12-year-old daughter, Charlotte, ran to greet him. He dropped his daughter and her friend off to school and went to buy some bear claws to ward off his headache. His wolf was agitated and pacing, and he finally notice a blond human omega waiting for his order. He had seen him the day before at a flower shop. He saw him later when he and Charlotte were shopping for groceries. This time, she recognized him, chatted like old friends, and asked if he would pass her some vegan ice cream. It was the same flavor that Shayne had chosen, and she was lactose intolerant as he was. She had blond hair like his too. He could hardly sleep that night, thinking about her. Could it be his child?
Shayne was visiting his college friend, Dan Cole, in Timberwood Cove and was falling in love with the beautiful town. But today he was troubled and needed to talk to a friend. Hogan was overseas, so he called Danny who was grateful to get out of the house! As they talked about the blond girl and so many coincidences, Danny told him he had dated her father. He said she was a wonderful girl and very happy. Now Shayne felt it best that he leave this town he had started to love. He didn’t want to make things uncomfortable for Charlotte’s dad.
But Fate won’t let go, and Vince was looking to start up a custom auto body shop business so he could spend more time with Charlotte as she was almost a teen. He called Shayne who was actually a business consultant who got Danny’s business started. Shayne came back to town, they discussed the potential, but when they shook hands, both of them strongly reacted and Shayne raced out of the café. Vince knew he had to figure out how to tell Shayne about shifters – because he knew for sure Shayne was his Fated Mate! And how would he and Charlotte react when they found out Shayne’s huge secret? It would be life-changing, for sure!
This author’s books are so good. The story line is beautiful, and the characters are so likable and caring. The events in this one intricately weave together in a fantastic story filled with love and possibilities. All the people who matter are pulled into it and the reader knows with every page that something huge and wonderful is ahead. Grab your copy and let the beautiful town and lovely people pull you in for a story that touches the heart. Even if things seem to go wrong, you’ll know never to give up hope. You will not forget this reading experience!
Shayne gets a raw deal and to find himself with no better choice than to give his precious daughter a chance at a life he knows he can't provide at 17 makes me ache. His broken heart is beautifully written and I hurt for him and hoped so hard for his future happiness. (And introducing Hogan as his best friend and ginger brother was a great move because it puts us in an excellent position for Hogan's story next.) I didn't have any major problems with anything Shayne said or did because all of his actions and hesitations were pretty logical and even though I don't like perpetuating secrets, his concerns were incredibly valid, especially after Vince expressed his insecurity regarding Charlotte's birth family.
So then we get to Vince. He started out really great and I was so interested in him. The biggest issue I had with him was his reaction to Shayne's secret. Knowing he had his own whopper of one that he literally surprised Shayne with with so very little preparation and explanation and then to react as he did in such a brutal fashion was pretty reprehensible. And then there was so little groveling. Shayne was so eager to forgive because of his love that the apology was simple and direct but lacked depth and I wasn't exactly impressed by that scene at all. He did have a ton of heart and was a fantastic father so there was a lot to make up for what bothered me so overall he wasn't so bad.
There was so much unsaid, even when both Charlotte and Vince expressed the desire to know Shayne's story. I know that we got it because we started with it, but Shayne's intuition, his impression that the unknown-Vince was the man Charlotte needed to go to, his yearning to stay despite Vince's edict for him to leave...there was a lot that I wanted to see from Vince's perspective as Shayne shared his past and all that brought him to Timberwood Cove. And Dan's not telling Vince Shayne's feeling and intention after their first enlightening scene in the diner when Shayne realized the truth was also a missed opportunity. I think I wanted Vince to feel a bit more of a knife twist so the big gesture, the groveling, the huge apology could have come more convincingly from Vince rather than a moment of fate that forced Shayne's return.
I truly love this author's writing. From their first book to now, every book I've read that they published (omitting the co-written ones) has been really good. I felt for the characters right at the start and rooted for their happiness until the last word on the page. Shayne's Hope is no different and despite my frustration with Vince and a bit of explanation that doesn't get page space everything else has me sold on Timberwood Cove as a place and a series.
One of a kind second chance. Everything comes full circle!
Imagine having to give up your child because you lacked the finances to support your baby. Also factor in the other parent comes from wealth but refuses to help.
Shayne - an omega, became pregnant at 17 and was forced to face the pregnancy alone. After giving birth to his daughter, Lottie (Charlotte), he knew there was no other choice but to give her up for adoption, a better life. The pain was so unbearable, he refused to speak abut what happened for years and asked his dads to do the same. Who knew that a chance visit to Timberwood Cove would have him face to face with his daughter and her alpha dad at a florist. Could she be his daughter given up more than 12 years ago? Coincidence she looks a lot like him?
Vince - single alpha and fireman. Looking to make changes in his life and still in pain from losing his omega, Danny, to his fated mate. Changes to his work schedule is forcing him to make a decision about his future. He know he needs to spend more time with Charlotte. Not looking to settle down at this time in his life, he can't help but notice the omega named Shayne. They keep running into one another. Those interactions have him thinking about the future. After a series of relationships turned south. Can he really give his heart to someone else? Can eh allow another to get close to Charlotte again?
Vince and Shayne begin to casually date, and spend more time with one another. Vince begins to notice Charlotte looks a lot like Shayne but does not make the connection as to who he may be. Meanwhile Vince sees a future with Shayne and wants him to see his real wolf form.
Shayne knows for certain Charlotte is his baby he gave up for adoption all those years ago. Everytime he wishes to tell Vince, he loses the nerve. Happy she had a wonderful home, time is running out to tell the truth or face losing them forever.
The spark of fate will not keep them from one another. Despite what their mid says, the heart speaks otherwise.
Neither man is willing to admit to the secrets they keep from one another. Can they be free and honest to have the family both desire or will fear keep them apart for good?
Fabulous addition to the Timberwood Cove series.

Nope he wasn't suppose to be in this position but here he was and he still had to tell his family he royally screwed up however they didn't murder him or even kicked him out but he knew the only answer was the hardest one by far he'd ever been forced to endured. The last thing he'd ever expected after all these years and he didn't know what to think after all it had to her. I had to ask his name after we kept running into each other but never introduced ourselves. Shayne his name made my heart race and my better half was demanding we chase after him. Everyone always said you'd know when you meet the one for you it just feels right. I knew I had to think of away to see him again that's when the perfect idea popped in my head. Shayne still didn't know if Vince realized just who he truly was and was just playing with him. Vince and his ex had talked about having a family but once things were in motion he changed his mind but I couldn't. When ever that little voice tells you something is a bad idea general it usually is but hey sometimes you just needed to through caution to the wind. Once is just a thing but twice is a pattern and when you realize just how much you want to be honest but don't have the courage to say anything because they might kick you to the curb. He couldn't believe what he just heard but now that Vince was starring at him he could see what had been right in front of him this whole time. Kaboom yep his life just blow up in his face so he did the only thing he could and he'd left. But now faced with so many questions and next and really zero answers he wished he'd done things differently especially when the most precious person was involved deserved to know. So now I needed to figure out how to fix my mistakes before he disappeared.

When Shayne was 17 years-old, he got pregnant and had a daughter, Charlotte. His family was poor and he was in high school; he wasn't ready to take care of a child and provide her with everything he could. So, he gave her up in a closed adoption, knowing that he probably would never see her again. 12 years later Shayne arrives in Timberwood Cove to help his friend Danny and his fated mate Anniston start their own business. By chance or fate, he runs into a 12 -year-old girl who has a very close resemblance to himself. Accompanied with the young girl, is her father, Vince. Vince's wolf sings when he gets near Shayne and he realizes that this must be it, Shayne is his fated mate. But Shayne is a human and he knows nothing about wolf-shifters; Vince fears that once Shayne realizes who he is Shayne will leave. But obviously Shayne has secrets of his own, and the more time he spends with Vince the more he regrets not coming clean that Charlotte is his daughter. Will their secrets tie them together or tear them apart?
I was very excited to read this book, as we were introduced to Vince and Charlotte in the previous novel with Danny and Anniston. My heart broke for Vince in that novel, because he was so open to romance with Danny but then Anniston swooped in as Danny's fated mate, and the rest was history. But now Vince gets his own shot at forever love and I absolutely loved it! He is such a great- deep and emotional character. You are drawn to his desires and motivations at both starting his own business and deciding to raise his adopted daughter as a single father. I loved him with Shayne they were perfect. I also really enjoyed the introduction of this book, where we see Shayne find out he is pregnant and we are also introduced to his best friend. Needless to say I am beyond excited to read about Hogan and Kihyan's story in the next book! This is a definite MUST read!

Secrets have a way of coming out. Shayne, at 17 made a mistake and ended up pregnant. Because of his age and family circumstances, he felt his only solution was to let his precious dauthter, Lottie be adopted. He and his Dads bonded and clung onto her until she was 3 mos old. The Alpha bio dad, Dylan's parents, sent a lawyer to release his parental rights. 12 years later, Shayne is successful and his Dads Paul and Fred are financially healthier, but they all have a hole in their hearts. Vince Song, firefighter and 12yo, Charlotte's adopted dad, is feeling his age as a firefighter. He thinks about Char getting older and needing his time more. He contemplates alternate career opportunities. Shayne came to town to help Danny and Anniston strategize growth of their health food business. There were a few chance meetings between Shayne, Vince and Charlotte. Shayne noticed Charlotte and had his intrest peaked. Vince's wolf sensed Shayne and felt drawn. It took Vince awhile. Kihyun, asked the right questions. Then Shayne, felt drawn to Vince. How much longer will Shayne stay in town? What does Vince see? Does anyone notice the uncanny resemblance of Charlotte to Shayne? Some of the guys and kids from previous stories get a mention. I recommend reading the stories in order, it's worth it. They are all amazing. Vince's story is like the cherry on top! Well done! This new installment in the Timberwood Cove was lovely and didn't disappoint. I love all the stories but this one extra special...it's fantasy but have so many real elements. A bittersweet story about an unplanned teen pregnancy that leads to a necessary adoption of the baby girl that led to a very loving home (thank goodness). Shayne had little choice to give up his baby girl years ago but fate brought him full circle when he discovered love and a potential family. Something special about Timberwood Cove that draws Shayne and he sees that it is Vince and his little girl Charlotte(all those chance encounters around town). Getting to know Vince and Charlotte, Shayne realizes his secret will eventually come out and he needs to be truthful if he wants a life with them. Vince also hiding things from Shayne. Both are scared of the potential fallout that could be devastating to their newfound love. It was very intense when everything came out but you can't stop fate and true love. I really loved this story and the ending was so sweet. I'm so ready for the next fated mates story!

Shayne was seventeen when he fell pregnant and had to give up his daughter for adoption. Now nearly thirteen years later, he bumped into her and her adopted father. He was visiting his friend Danny at Timberwood Cove when he saw Charlotte in the flower shop. It was t just Char he was drawn to, it her father Vince.
Vince was drawn to Shayne when they bumped into each other in town. It seemed that their paths were destined to cross continually. With the push of his lead alpha, Vince started to pursue Shayne. Things soon heated up between the two men and soon they were in love with each other. But Shayne still hadn’t told Vince that he was Charlotte‘s birth father and Vince hadn’t told Shayne about being a wolf shifter. When Vince finds out he sends Shayne packing, but a trip to the hospital brings Shayne back to the Cove and back into Vince and Charlotte’s life again.
This story will have you laughing and crying when you read this fantastic tale of fated mates and of mistakes that bring such joy.

Vince is no stranger to heartbreak. But for the past 12 years his daughter has been his whole focus. She’s the most important person in his world. But when he sees Shayne he’s drawn to him like no one before. Every time they run into each other he just can’t stop thinking about Shayne. Vince is convinced that Shayne is his fated mate but he has to tread carefully because Shayne is human and doesn’t know about shifters.
Shayne gave up his daughter 12 years ago. It was the hardest thing he ever had to do. After visiting a friend he couldn’t believe it when a chance encounter brings him face to face with the daughter he gave up. He would know her anywhere. And he’s taken aback even more when he meets her adoptive dad Vince. He’s immediately drawn to him. They keep running into each other and Shayne thinks maybe fate is telling him something.
This is one of my favorite books in the series. Vince is beyond awesome and Shayne’s story broke my heart. I love everyone at Timberwood Cove and love visiting these great characters.

The father of the daughter you gave up for adoption is your new client. What do you do?
Welcome back to Timberwood Cove. My old friends were there with open arms. All three wolf packs pop up. This is a delightful tale of sacrifice, surprises, fated mates, smexy scenes, and a preteen girl who will grab your heart. You will love this book! Pregnant at 17, poor, and alone, Shayne does what's best for his daughter: he gives her up for adoption. Twelve years later, he finds her, when he wasn't even looking. And her gorgeous hunk of a firefighter dad? Oh boy. When Vince hires Shayne to help him start his dream business, he knows he's his fated mate. But Shayne is a human, so Vince has to go slow. They both have a big secret that needs telling. While HEA is assured, the way there has some rough spots. With the help of good friends, and lots of love, Shayne & Vince will come full circle. I loved this book! This is a stand- alone. But I recommend reading the other books in this series. The characters recur, and the story continues. This book sets up the next in the series. I can't wait for its release. This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.
To my ratings: A 3,5* is clicked with a 4* but in review marked as 3,5*:
5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile’ or ‘Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the the kids’ series from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or ‘Liberty’ from Seth King), it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books and Davidson Kings 'Haven Hart'-series) it's like an A
3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in hospitals). I can recommend them definitively! It's like an B+
3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader (2-3 times a year), it's like a B
2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-reader (I wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok) It's like a C-, D
1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolute NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole line, dismissed, repeat the class
But the cover art does not match either protagonist. I’m not sure how I should feel about this especially given that Vince is of Korean descent. I wasn’t sure about Anniston’s cover art either. It may sound silly, but cover art that features characters literally put faces to them. Why bother if it’s not gonna match the characters? Especially given that Vince is a person of color, and admittedly I may be biased as I am a person of color, it bothers me. It couldn’t be Shayne either by the way. The book goes out of its way to say he has very bright, almost white blonde hair, blue eyes, and a cleft in his chin. The body doesn’t make sense either as he is envious of his best friend Hogan’s physique because Shayne is not as muscular as him. The wolf could be Shayne though. Also, this is the first time I felt as if the head did not match the body. Anyone else feel that way?
Anyway, it was well written. No surprise there. I recommend you read it as you will definitely enjoy it. But don’t look to the cover art to do anything more than show off a handsome man.
Shayne became pregnant at 17, and as his family was poor and the father of the baby did not want anything to do with the situation, he decided for an adoption. 12 years later, now a successful businessman, he visits his friend, who just had a baby and meets a young girl, who looks exactly like him. Later again he meets her and he becomes quite sure that she is his daughter. Starting to work with her father and being interested in him as well on a personal level complicates the situation even more. Vince, a wolf alpha, knows Shayne is his fated mate, but his human side is hesitant to commit, having just lost his omega to him finding his fated mate. With both sides having baggage it takes some pushing by fate to finally get them together, and make a perfect family. A good story, at times a little intense with the description of the feelings Shayne and Vince go through. Still entertaining and enjoyable I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The book starts with Shayne as a teenager who falls pregnant and because of his family circumstances can't keep the baby and chooses, for the baby's sake, to give his baby girl up for adoption. Years later when he and his dads have worked their fingers to the bone to achieve financial success he goes to visit his friend Dan in Timberwood Cove. There he sees a young girl who is the splitting image of him. When he keeps bumping into her and her dad, Vince, who he is incredibly attracted to. In the last book we saw poor Vince lose Dan to his fated mate but he soon realises that in Shayne he has now met his own fated mate but each is keeping secrets from the other. I loved the evolution of the relationship between Shayne and Char and also Shayne and Vince but what happens when each of their secrets come to light? I loved the characters and getting to know Char more was amazing cause she is truly one special little girl. The story is a perfect of romance, angst and romance.

A story with a very real ring of truth to it. Shayne has lived with his guilt of giving up his 3mo old baby because of circumstances beyond his and his dads' control. Oh, how Shayne regrets his fatalistic decision. For 12 years he has wondered and dreamed about the life his baby has lived. Little does he realize that because of his friendship with omega Dan he will come face to face with his child's father. Vance has seen his heart shattered when who he thought was his fated mate was taken by Anniston instead. The most precious gift he has in his life is his adopted daughter Charlotte and so he reaffirms his dedication to making her life perfect. Little does either man know how a simple meeting in Timberwood Cove will alter all three of their lives. Liam Kingsley brought out all the bells and whistles in this story of sorrow, loss, redemption, and love. There was a hint of Book #13 at the end as an enticement also. I received an ARC of this story.
I really enjoyed reading this heartwarming shifter romance. It has well-paced, intense plot with some emotional undertones & there are some character crossovers but this book can be read as a standalone. The characters are well-developed individuals & have good chemistry although they are both struggling with self-esteem issues & insecurities. There is some good support from the secondary characters. There is: a male firefighter & wolf shifter (Vince) with an adopted daughter (Charlotte) come into contact with his fated mate (a human male omega, Shayne) who has a secret that could destroy their relationship, humans, wolf shifters, fated mates, drama, twists & turns, secrets, memories, loneliness, attractions, insecurities, vulnerability, discovery, a judgmental attitude, misunderstandings, ultimatums, regrets, compromises, love, contentment, some steam & a delightful happy conclusion with a interesting ending. I would recommend this book.
Secrets have a bad way of being revealed at the absolute worst time. So it's much better to be forthcoming. But how often does that actually happen? Falling in love with a place, its people, its uniqueness, and those special someones living there can be enlightening.
The past coming full circle could be amazing or disastrous. All he ever wanted. What he never dreamt was possible. So afraid of it slipping through his fingers like grains of sand - so he remained silent.
Grieving a lost relationship will make anyone wary. So when someone who lives out of town begins to show interest an Alpha doesn't want to go there. But there is a strong mutual attraction that he tries to deny. Fears arise, but they can't be possible or even probable. He should let himself just relax and enjoy - until tragedy strikes.
What do you mean I have to wait until the third week of August before Book 13 is released? Nooooooo!
This was an interesting twist on your usual trope with both main characters having a vital secret that has the potential to destroy everything. And I sort of loved how both secrets were revealed at the same time so that neither Shayne nor Vince had time to digest the other’s information before having to deal with the fallout of his own secret. I thought that both men acted and reacted believably, and consistent with their character.
I do have to say that, while I enjoyed these two characters in their own book, I wasn’t particularly psyched to read their book, so it took me a while to care about either of them, but Vince in particular. But, I am very excited to see the pairing between Hogan and Kihyun.
Who are Shayne, Hogan, and Dylan? At just 10% of the way into the story, I have some suspicions about what is going to happen. It has me smiling at the thought! Oh my gosh! So many stressful moments for me while reading this story! My thoughts turned out to be correct. I had another thought during the ceremony Hogan was at for Shayne. You need to read and see if my thinking is correct on that or not. I am not going to say anything else but that it involves someone high up in the pack. Enjoy the read and surprises!

Shayne's Hope is Book 12 in the Timberwood Cove series. I love this book and can't get enough of this series. This book is so beautifully written and might be my favorite in the series. First, a party on Whidbey Island and breakfast at Beth's, yes please! Shayne, a human omega, has to make one of the hardest decisions in his life and at such a young age. Vince, an alpha wolf shifter, hasn't had luck with love but fate gets involved and his mate comes to town. This is the sweetest story of fated love and a second chance for Shayne and Vince, though for different reasons. I highly recommend this book and series!

The book was amazing. Fate really has it's way and her new victims are Shayne and Vince. They both have been hurt in the past and they always had a connection neither of them had an linking of. Meeting his fated mate Vince starts to understand some of Anniston’s actions and motives. They both have a secret that are afraid to share and at the moment of truth fear primed in Vince's decision to sent Shayne away. He soon realise his mistake and tries everything to win his mate back. His second chance is wholly appreciated and they make their happy future together with a new addition to the family. The story is thrilling and makes you live with the characters and be happy for them when they found their happiness. Really excited for the next one.
Wow what an amazing story. When Shayne was 17 he went to a party he hooked up with a alpha and Shayne ended up pregnant he had a little girl Lottie but when she was 3 months old Shayne knew that it was time to pick someone to adopt Lottie so he picked the person and let Lottie go which devastated him his family was poor they had no way that they could afford to keep her. 12 years later Shayne was in a florist shop when a man and a young girl with blonde curls and a dimple on her chin walked in, the next time he see’s them is in a supermarket and she is lactose intolerant just like him it couldn’t be her could it?. That’s all I’m going to give you guys this is a heart felt story I loved it and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
I just loved Shaynes story it certainly had a couple of little twists to it, which i really wasnt expecting, but made the book so much more enjoyable. I loved that Vince has finally got his fated mate after the last book when he lost Dan. Mistakes are made especially when the truth comes out regarding Charlotte. Because when Shayne was a young man he got pregant, and ended up adopting out his daughter. However fate has a way of bringing fated mates together. Another wonderful story and i totally enjoyed it once more. Liam Kingsley certainly knows how to deliver these wonderful stories to his audience.
Twelve years ago, Shayne made the hardest decision of his life, and gave his daughter up for adoption - he didnt really have a choice, but it didnt make it any easier. When he goes to Timberwood Cove to help Danny and Anniston wih their business, his life is forever changed by a chnce meeting at the florist shop. Vince is getting over losing Danny to Anniston - he just lives life for his adopted daughter - why is this stranger affecting him so much? What will happen when all of their secrets are revealed? Vince and Shayne have a lot in common, they are both good men with great personalities, they are friendly, sweet, and hardworking, each has a past that caused them heartbreak, and they are currently keeping a huge secret that could affect everything they are slowly starting to build between them. Genuine connections, highly emotional, intense passion, interesting storyline, and likeable characters who have some ups and downs to work through before their love is accepted and they get to have their hard earned and long awaited HEA.

I really enjoyed this addition to the Timberwood Cove series. I felt bad for Vince in the last book, because he (mostly) took the high road to make Danny happy, and I was really hoping he would get his fated mate. It's like the author answered my wishes with this book. I couldn't help but love Shayne and Charlotte together, and I really wanted to see the three of them make a family. It just seemed right. But with Shayne and Vince both keeping secrets, it was by no means a sure or easy thing. Very enjoyable, and I am looking forward to Kihyun and Hogan's book.
