This story is an introduction of a new member to the Northern Grizzlies MC Club and it does that with heat and substance. I really enjoyed getting to know Chains, his lady, and revisiting some past characters (not to mention the pup who stole some scene time). The way the author combined family values, MC law/respect and personal instincts/emotions really made the story pop. I look forward to more. This is a definite must read MC series and a personal favorite.

We get to learn a little more of the MC, and bring in a couple of new characters. Chains was a bit of an @ss in earlier books but gets paired up nicely with Sophia

Already in love with Chains!
I’m already obsessed with Merin and the Grizzlies and every book she comes out with just makes me even more excited for the future of the Grizzlies. Chains is a lovable character from the beginning. He knows what’s right and what’s wrong and does his best to do the right thing even if that means sacrificing his life. Sophia was unexpected to him but she quickly lit up his world and even though she has her issues, Chains is there to help her through them. I would love an extended book on these two!

This novella was full on right from the beginning. It was quick, fast and steamy. I loved the glimpses of the Grizzlies we see. Loved Riley being pregnant! What a quick snapshot into the lives of the Grizzlies. Totally loved the fact that Chain's chose is family over his club. While it was short it packed a lot into that one book. Loved the insta lust between Chains and Sofia. So worth reading!

Quick, steamy, awesome
so this is a short. But it brings all the NGMC back into play. It has it all. Action, a hot MC guy (2 of them actually)... R/l issues. And an awesome dog!! Can't wait for more

Excellent short story!
I love all this author's books. They never disappoint and this one didn't too. Chains and Sophia were incredible. Two heros. I love books that have strong woman in them.

This novella lets us get to know Chains better after his faux pa concerning the ol' ladies of the Northern Grizzlies. His motorcycle club is falling apart and down a dark hole that he and his best friend, Silver want nothing to do with. As Chains is trying to help his cousin Angela and her son Colin escape a domestic violence situation , they end up in a vehicle accident. The woman who helps.them, Sophia, becomes an important person.in their lives. There is a dangerous threat against the main characters of this story. You won't want to skip this short story as it leads into the characters of the book Silver Bullet.

Great book
You ever wonder what happens to kids lost in the system, some of them become a family to each other. What happens when the brothers become one with an MC that gets taken over by an undesirable group? They rally, they try to right wrongs even if they know it can mean their death. One man rallies to save family and protect an alliance that was broken by the MC Brotherhood that they belonged to, racing to their once allies for protection, he not only finds a new Brotherhood willing to fight for but a wounded woman willing to even protect those she doesn't know.

A fantastic addition to this series!
Although this starts off with a different club, it quickly involves the NGMC as well. Chains was in a previous book, but don't let first impressions ruin your opinion. Lol! It's definitely not a story that you'll want to miss!
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.

A great beach read.
This is the first book I've read by this author and now I'm hooked. Time to get the whole series.
Also this was a nice quick read. Great for a day at the beach or pool.

Just okay for a short story
This isn't a bad read. It's very short which leaves little room for character development. Its a little choppy in parts too. Chains and Sophia would probably be interesting in a full length novel.

Good short read
This was a good short story about Chains and how he became to be a Northern Grizzlie. Him and Sophia make a good couple. You also bet to catch up on a few Northern Grizzlie members and their old ladies.

Short sweet with a bit of blood. PTSD is tough on those with it and their families . I think it was great Mrs. Marin acknowledged it is this short.

SHORT AND SWEET.
This book is definitely a short but I loved every minute of it. Chain's a big bad*ss but he has a kind caring heart and very protective when it comes to his cousin Angela and her son Colin. Who by the way is totally cuteness overload. Sophia is a strong woman who is suffering in silence. When Chains first meets her he's a gonner. When Chains old club comes looking for him because of Angela's ex, Nails. Chains is protecting her and Colin from Nails abuse. A couple of times the angst made me kinda jittery waiting to find out was gonna happen next. I loved how the Northern Grizzlies MC were so welcoming to Chains, Silver, and Breaker. Oh and Angela and Colin of course. Finding out about Silver and Chain's past was heartbreaking. But they are stronger because of it. Even though this was a short story it still had the feel of a full story and left us with a cliffhanger. I Highly Recommend this Series to Everyone.

The Northern Grizzlies is a series I have re-read and re-read. This adds more players to the group and i can not wait for the next one. I know its a Novella Book so it was going to a sort one, but i would of loved it to be longer. I can wait for the next one and see what happens to Chain's and Sop.

Nice to read about the Northern Grizzlies again. The characters get better and better with each book I read.
Now to check and see if there is a book for Chains and Sophia. After reading this book I need to know more of their story. Oh, and Angela and Collin (or was it Colin?) will book to see again.
