Book 5 in the Cocky Suits series and I loved it. Great addition to the series. Harlow Collins is the Collins brothers little cousin and Cole Miller is an ex-MMA fighter and current gym owner and also a friend and client of Dexter Collins. The chemistry and attraction between them was so hot and intense. Loved the pull that they felt towards each other. You could feel it come off the pages. I needed to fan myself several times from the heat that they were throwing off. Loved this story and I can’t wait to see what they have coming next.

If I've said it once, I've said it a million times. Alex Wolf and Sloane Howell are AMAZING writer's as it is on their own. Team them together and they are evenbetter if that was even possible!
Inked Playboy is the 5th book of the series Cocky Suits Chacigo.
Harlow Collins is the baby cousin to the Collins Brothers that we meet in the first 4 books. She is Sassy, Badass, tough as nails and defiantly doesn't take anyone's shit. She was raised like a little sister to the borthers. They are overly protective and it drivers her CRAZY! She is starting her new business up and is souly focused on success. She doesn't have time for a relationship and she's not even interested in one, however a girl has needs.
Cole Miller is a former MMA Champion self made business success and has his mind focused on expanding his Gyms and company. He has no time for or urge for a steady relationship. He can have ANY woman he wants with just one smouldering smirk. ANYONE except HER... Harlow Collins has captured his attention and it would be all well and good if she wasn't forbidden fruit. She's Dexter Collins' baby cousin and Dexter is his Best friend.
While at Deacon and Quinn's wedding and reception they BOTH lock eyes and it's like there's instant sparks. It's a bad idea, bad thoughts, it can't happen. The drinks are flying back and inhibitions are going down. After a heated back and forth bantering the "disaster" is averted... or so they thought.
Alcohol and burning desire are a bad combination. They can't help the attraction and give into their desires. The drinkin night of the Hottest, dirtiest, most mind blowing sex of their lives leaves them both on edge and confused. What should have been just sex, a biological need being met and nothing more turns into confusing feelings.
They know shit will hit the fan is anyone finds out, they fight their feelings and push away the desire as best they can. The Collins Brothers will have Coles head for messing with Harlow. They are over the moon happy and it's starting out great. Then Coles past comes crashing back I to his life. His demons resurface and their world is shaken up. It's all at stake. Can Cole face his demons and keep Harlow out of the crossfire? Can their new and fragile relationship handle the fallout of his past? Will everyone's friendships be able to survive?
This one kept me on my toes, my heart pounding and eyes watering. It's also one of the HOTTEST reads of this series! I can't get enough! I LOVE this book and you will too. Alex and Sloane have managed to blow my mind and capture my heart again. They are AMAZING!

When a story starts out with a one night stand the entire mood of the story just switches. Good or bad, depends. For this one it was just solidly in the middle. I didn’t hate it, but the dynamic of the main characters because of it was interesting.
Why you may ask??
I haven’t seen Cole Miller in this series, solidly, in AWHILE. So, his character kinda “came out of nowhere” to be honest. Harlows character was just introduced in the last book if I’m not mistaken as well. So, these characters are practically babies in the development stage here, and they just all of a sudden SEE each other when it becomes convenient? They have a hot af one night stand, and all of sudden they automatically have chemistry and deep feelings.
I just feel like as a reader that has read each one of these individual books, their supposed connection and dynamic was pulled out of thin air. Don’t get me wrong though! The scenes were hot and written well, but the character development lacked to me. At this point in the writing stage for a series, character development should be excelling. I just didn’t think it excelled in this one fully.
To this point, the first two books were the ultimate best in this series, based on character development and plot as well. This is a good read, but wasn’t the strongest of the books.
Other than this, it was a good story. It was a quick read too, so it’s not too bad. I liked it, just didn’t think it was their best, but still good none the less.
Either way Sloane Howell is still one of my favorites haha

Imagine having four male cousins who see you as their baby sister, influenced by them to not take crap from anyone & give all interested suiters the "death stare" (even at 26). Harlow Collins is this woman. She's physically & emotionally strong, ambitious, feisty & could swear her way around any eager opponent & have them fearfully take a step back to avoid her wrath. Simply put, Harlow could make the devil blush. Focused on her new business and not interested in nor has time for romance, Harlow has a one night stand with former MMA fighter Cole Miller. Best friend of Dexter, Cole is expanding his gym business leaving little time for a relationship either. But something ignites once this couple spends their first night together, throwing all plans of singledom to the wayside. I love how all past & beloved characters have a role in this story, a continuation of their lives is incorporated into Harlow & Cole's new found relationship. To make things even more interesting, Cole's past revisits, showing us a vey vulnerable side to his character but his behavior over an unexpected twist could ruin any chance of a future with Harlow. This couple has the hottest sex ever written by Sloane & Alex, I swear steam was rising above my kindle, they were that good. Going into this, I wasn't convinced that these relatively new characters could hold my interest, I'm happy to admit I was so wrong. A wonderful addition to this series!!!

These books are amazing. They are filled with hot alpha men and how they find the women of their dreams. This book is about Cole and Harlow. Cole is your typical hot, sexy, tatted gorgeous man that has more money than he knows what to do with. He works hard and plays even harder.
He has always known Harlow but hasn't seen her since she grew up, and boy did she. She's the most gorgeous woman he has ever seen and he has to have her. Harlow feels the same and lets just say alcohol gives people a lot of confidence. She lets him convince her to spend the night with him, and wow, she would never imagined but holy sh*t.
They have the most magical night but all good things come to an end, as they say. Just when things are getting good, Cole has a blast from his past show up and things take a turn for the worst.
Harlow is heart broken and never thought Cole would hurt her like this. Does she give up or hang on because after all he has stolen her heart and she doesn't give that away easily.
Can her and Cole's love survive this mess that is part of his past or do they go their separate ways? I love these two's story. It was so much fun to read. Great book!!!!

Cole Miller didn't stand a chance against the smart mouth of Harlow Collins.
Once again, this writing partnership has created characters that the reader will fall for... Characters that are flawed, characters that make mistakes, characters who recognise love when they find it and characters that, even when it seems like they
might,... never give up!!
I absolutely loved this couple's dynamic. They're beautifully portrayed as equals and when I grow up, I want to be a bad a** like Harlow Collins.

4.5⭐️. Harper Collins is hands down my favourite Collins as of now! She’s gutsy, strong, highly strung and direct, ballsy, driven, funny and smoking hot. Cole Miller one of the best MMA fighters of all time, he’s been best friends with Dex since college, and you should know this about him - he doesn’t do romance or suits. Yet he turns up in a suit to Deacon & Quinn’s wedding. He see Harlow Collins, the baby cousin, and he takes notice. It’s a wedding with lots of booze and a one night stand of a lifetime that neither can forget. There’s a spark between these two, well it’s more than just a spark... Cole knows that Harper is basically Dex’s little sister, he knows she should be off limits but Harper is super out-of-this-world hot and there’s a spark between them that won’t go away. It’s a spark she’s never felt before and neither has he. She’s getting her company off the ground so doesn’t have time for anyone in her life right now. The back and forward between them, the banter, the frustration gets them both worked up. Cole Miller is strong and steady, and all man. He just lets Harlow be Harlow. And he figures the rest will just take care of itself...

This was another amazing book. I loved that Harlow was a strong willed woman not taking crap from anyone especially Cole. The relationship between Harlow and Cole are off the charts steamy. Their families try to get involved out of the globe they have for them.but Cole and Harlow know they don't need anyone's help could not out this book down and loved how it included the previous books.

I loved this story! I felt every emotion possible. The Collins family is so protective of their cousin and I love watching them have to accept her being an adult. I loved the drama of this couple and the heat that it caused. I highly recommend this book and this series to others.

Harlow is one bad a$$. Look out everyone as you don't want to get in her way. I love how all the Collins women stick by her and encourage her to do what she wants. They will take care of the Collins men for her. Her & Cole just work together. A few challenges and heartache along the way. Being an MMA fighter, Harlow can still take him down in more ways than one. I couldn't put it down. Another great read in the series

We have had the Collins brothers, now it is time for their cousin Harlow to find her HEA.
*fanning self* my, the sexual tension between Harlow and Cole (Dex's BFF), you can cut it with a knife, slap it on a slice of bread and eat it right up.
I feel that Harlow was brought into Cole's life to drive him bonkers, and she did this well.
There was a little something missing with this installment compared to the previous books, I am just not sure if I can put my finger on exactly what it was. I think I was missing a bit of the oomph that the previous books had.
I feel that I wanted more fight/passion between them.
But this could just be me.
I liked seeing more of the Collins boys and their lovely ladies, and love the family dyanamics.
I look forward to more from this duo.

Crushing hard on Harlow Collins right now. She's what's missing in the romance world. She's a smart, no nonsense person who has no problem putting you in your place. Cole Miller is her perfect partner and they compliment each other so well. This was such a good enemies to lovers story. Alex & Sloane are killing it with these books right now. I really enjoy how well they balance the romance and the humor in each of their stories. I always manage to shed a tear as well. Looking forward to see what else they have in store for us.

OMG!! Loved Cole and Harlow!! I love Harlow's independence and the mental strength it took to stay away from Cole, even though once she gives in bigN bad Cole is like a dominant teddy bear. Cole being a former MMA fighter and being a "macho man" that's never really been a in a true relationship and then Harlow practically brings him to his knees at first sight.

What do you get when you create a writing partnership between two great authors? You get an amazing series that you patiently (or maybe impatiently?!) wait for the next book in the series! Inked Playboy was definitely worth the wait.
Harlow Collins is the baby cousin of the four Collins brothers, however, she really is more like their little sister and they definitely treat her that way. They've always been protective and irregardless of the fact she's now in her 20's they still want to be the overprotective guys they always have been. Harlow has just started her own company and while she's doing some work for her cousins, she's beginning to branch out. She's very focused on work and in general isn't looking for a relationship. You know what they say about best laid plans...

He's working on expanding his footprint with his gyms and he's also Dexter Collins best friend. Cole isn't looking for a relationship either. Sure, he enjoys women and he can honestly have anyone he wants, but as the saying goes, he finds the one, but can he convince her to take a chance on him?
When Harlow and Cole reconnect at Deacon and Quinn's wedding, sparks fly immediately. While they've known one another for years, they haven't been around one another since they really "grew up" and there is no mistaking the mutual attraction. As any good wedding reception has, the alcohol was flowing, leading to lowered inhibitions and heightened flirting. After initially trying to fight the pull, they give in and have an unbelievable night together.
Will these two who are so obviously attracted to one another be able to overcome the things that could stand in their way, including Harlow's cousins and Cole's past demons?
This was a great read and it was definitely the hottest book of the series. Harlow and Cole have an amazing chemistry and the dynamic between them made me smile so many times. There's nothing better than a little teasing and bickering to move a relationship along! Kudos to Wolf and Howell for penning another awesome addition to this series!

Alex Wolf and Sloane Howell have done it again and just can’t go wrong with this series! I love Harlow Collins, cousin of the Collins boys that the other books were written about. Cole Miller is best friends with Dex and Dex and all the brothers look at Harlow as more of a little sister than a cousin, and you don’t date your best friends little sister... right? Harlow is a bad a&s, fiesty, fiery, and all that Cole can think about since their hook up at the Collins’ wedding. I loved the chemistry between the two of these people and the store was fantastic. The only thing that I was not a fan of was the side story of Cole’s mother. Cole’s mother was not in his life for almost all it, and then mysteriously reappears. The storyline is not fleshed out as much as I would like. She then comes to stay with him, and ends up stealing money from him. When they find her, she is sorry that she did it, said she did not need the money, yet she is living in a shelter and doesn’t have a job. Of course she needs the money! But why she would steal from her own son, is a bigger issue that could have been delved into a bit more to make the storyline more substantial. Otherwise, I feel that this part of the storyline could have just been totally left out all together.
With that said, I loved the rest of the book. I love this writing duo. I am anxiously awaiting Rick’s story. And, who is this Wells Covington that was introduced towards the end of the book. I think that this series could continue to go on for some time, and that makes me one happy reader!

Now his reign as MMA champion has been replaced with retirement and running his gym business. He’s more than successful. His arrogance is only surpassed by his success, good looks, and confidence. But all that is tested when alcohol and the baby cousin of the Collins brothers, Harlow Collins, falls into his bed. Now mind you, Harlow is one tough cookie. She gives as good as she gets. And she has no problem laying down the law. And heaven help anyone that disobeys or challenges her.

Absolutely fell for these two. His confidence, in and out of the bedroom, was hot. Harlow’s wit and sarcasm along with her take no prisoner attitude makes her a beloved heroine. And anyone that can make good ol’ Rick walk the line, well, she’s got my support.

Absolutely fell for these two. His confidence, in and out of the bedroom, was hot. Harlow’s wit and sarcasm along with her take no prisoner attitude makes her a beloved heroine. And anyone that can make good ol’ Rick walk the line, well, she’s got my support.

Harlow Collins is feisty,kick a$$ driven, stubborn, independent, tough twenty-six year old woman and the baby cousin to the Collins brothers. She is extremely close to them and they are very protective of her. She has started a new business and work is her motivation now, she has no time or need for a relationship.Oh and Dexter recommended that Cole meet with her so she could help with his business marketing. Then she runs into Cole at a family wedding and they have a night of drunken passion and undeniable chemistry. The pull between them is like a magnet the more they resist the stronger the pull. And whatever you do DON'T tell her what to do because she will put you in your place.... family or not!!!! Damn I love her!!!!
Cole was bada$$ alpha yet we were able to see him vulnerable and what happened to him growing up. They were both flawed and that made them relatable. Yes at times pig headed and I wanted to kick his a$$ yet on the other hand I could understand why he was tormented by his choices.
The banter back and forth between them and all the characters was spot on and made the storyline flow beautiful.

There was something different about this book from the very beginning. It just grabbed my heart in a totally different way than the rest of the series. Maybe it's because Harlow is so strong. She literally flies off the page at you, her strength, her attitude. Cole is a man that is super loyal and counts Dexter Collins as one of his best friends. For him to decide to date Harlow, the little cousin of the Collins clan, was a hard decision. The chemistry he felt with her though, you don't just walk away from that. I loved that Howell & Wolf, the authors of the series, wrote this back and forth decision making process between Harlow and Cole so real. The push and pull between them was amazing. I loved that Harlow cared so much about Cole's friendship with her family that it gave her pause about the relationship they could develop. H & W wrote Cole as a strong man that became vulnerable and they did it so well. I love the way the relationships between the Collins brothers and the other characters have evolved through this series. These two authors are not afraid to show that a strong man can be vulnerable too. They can share their feelings and win the girl in the end. The way their characters all lean on each other as a family and their friendships is beautifully written. The end of this book had me wishing for more. More Harlow, more Cole, more Bill and Pedro, and more Collins family. I can't wait to see what Howell & Wolf come up with next.

Harlow Collins is one hard a**, sassy, crazy intelligent, stubborn, hot tempered chick. I think she may be my favorite in this series. She is not afraid to speak her mind and go toe to toe with her cousins or any guy who ticks her off. Cole Miller has been best friends with Dex since high school and Knows how the Collins brothers (over) protect Harlow but suddenly he can’t stay away and neither can she. There are major obstacles thrown at them but for two people who don’t show emotion they find themselves feeling all the feels. This will make you laugh, cry and swoon. The Cocky Suits a Chicago is an awesome series by this writer duo!

Like the first four books in the Cocky Suits Series, Inked Playboy did not disappoint.
Cole Miller, former MMA champion and self made businessman meets his match when he hooks up with sassy Harlow Collins, cousin of the Collins brothers as one of their weddings.
Their bantering makes for steamy encounters and they bring out the softer sides in each other that they didn’t know they had.
I am not going to say much more as I don’t want to spoil the book for other readers but love a good romance with drama along the way.

I didn't love the last book as much as the previous ones, but thought, all the Collins brothers are out of the way - Deacon is still my favorite -, let's see what happens now. And I'm glad to announce the series is back on track because it was amazing.
We have already met both Harlow and Cole. Loved her badass, no non-sense attitude, didn't care that much for him.
I felt like they should have spent more time with each other before, her being like a sister to the brothers and him being the best friend of one of them. Yet it takes a wedding for them to see each other in a different light, but it worked. It starts with a hot as hell one-night stand but once Cole's interest is spiked, there's no going back. He has had it rough before making it big as an MMA fighter turned CEO, but he's not used to the word no. And he's a fighter after all.
Harlow is quick to give him shit, lip, and a lot of attitude and their fights are either amusing or too sexy for words. She's kind of a loner and feels like a relationship is not something she has time for and even wants, but Cole Miller is a game changer.
My only wish is that the guys groveled a bit more, though I have to give it to them, they are awesome at grand gestures.
I lied, my other wish would be Wells's book next, but I see that's not happening.

I loved this! Harlow is a badass and reminds me of Izzy: take no sh*t and watch your balls! Their chemistry is off the charts and their sexiness is perfect. Harlow, the executive who has no time for distractions and Cole who has no time for commitment.
It’s a great story and I loved the secondary characters just as much. Pedro and Bill are awesome and Harlow’s dad is 😭.

Cole is a trainer for athletes after being a boxing champion. He is looking to market his business with Harlow's company. Harlow is sister to Cole's friends so that makes her off limits until they hook up one night after a wedding. Cole can have any woman he wants but he finds himself unable to get enough of Harlow. Harlow can't believe she hooked up with Cole, the hot friend of her brothers. These two were hilarious and the sex was HOT off the charts. A great read and love the series.

Harlow and Cole have so much chemistry you can feel the heat between them coming off the pages. These two are perfect for each other. I love the way they banter back and forth. Every part of this book felt so real. Every emotion the characters felt I could feel as well. I loved it. Perfection!! What an ending. I could not put this book down once I started reading. Alex Wolf and Sloane Howell know how to pull you in every time. This book deserves more than 5 stars

Alex and Sloane make one heck of a great team! Since book 1 of the Cocky Suits series I have been wrapped up in all of the characters lives. Each time I start one of the books the guys have you feeling like you are watching the scene right in front of your eyes. I would recommend that if you just see this that you start with book 1 or you will be kinda lost. Trust me though you will ebd up reading all of them one right after the other!

This was a great read and another excellent entry in this fun series. This well written book delivers up the complete package. Wonderful characters, a strong storyline, plenty of emotions, humor, drama, tension, excitement, snappy banter, sizzling chemistry and a touch of the forbidden are combined into a simply delightful romance that will give you a major case of "The Feels". I adored Harper and Cole. They were absolutely meant to be and although their path had some big obstacles to overcome their love was so worth the journey! I am freely choosing to post a forthright review.
