I enjoyed this series, mostly, for what it is. A simple set-up gives lots of opportunities to focus on new and recurring characters. Since it explores sexual dysfunction, it includes lots of sex - hot sex. And for those of you who like variety, there are MMF and MM scenes included.
On the down-side, the set-up creates familiarity - every story is similar. I applaud the author for creating different women for each episode, but the plot is nearly identical. The angsty bits provide the emotional motivation, but they're the same in each book.
I think #5 is my favorite, though the first one is also very good.
I DNF'd #6 early, as both MCs were TSTL on moral grounds.

I beg you, please, please stop referring to "toggling" a clitoris. Also, learn the definition of monogamy. The disregard for boundaries is not sexy and interrupting people's work because they are just too sexy to resist makes me cringe. The intake of each new batch of women is weird: each client is carefully matched to a "therapist" who has expertise in her issues, but the women get to nominate the men they want, but the cowboy/sex therapists fight over the clients. The sex just isn't hot enough - although liberally applied - and the characters and plots aren't nearly developed enough to overlook the shortcomings.
But otherwise, the books are fine as freebies.

This is a fantastic collection of sexy hot cowboys and the women they fall for. The author does a great job bringing strong characters and weaving six fast paced stories filled with tons of emotions and love. The stories are brought to life with her descriptive and detailed scenes. I loved each story and would recommend this set.

This box set is absolutely a must have. As always Em Petrova has given us well written stories with a great storylines and plots. It contains amazing stories that has a lot of chemistry and passion in them. If you enjoy romances that offer plenty of sizzling heat, dirty naughtiness and a taboo edge you can not go wrong with this very entertaining and enjoyably naughty cowboy collection.

Pushin’ Buttons
Hugh and Riggs are friends and coworkers at the boot knockers ranch. They do everything together. However, Hugh is unaware or just plain ignoring the looks the Riggs shoots him. All of this gets extremely complicated when Sybill shows up being they both want her.
I liked the character of Sybill. She was very relatable to most woman. It was fun to read her experience a place like the boot knockers ranch.
I also liked the characters of Hugh and Riggs. They both were friends and part time lovers. They were strong and cared about their lands and the people who worked it. They both had a soft spot for woman who needed someone to take care of them however that meant.
Body Language
I loved that Damian would do anything to make Ruthie happy! He did such an amazing job bringing her out of her shell. The photo's he took of her soundsed beautifully elegant but also sinful in the best way. I loved that she was open with him to explore this side of herself without judgement.
I also liked Damian as a man. He was a great boot knocker but he was also a great friend. He was there for Paul with his issues. He cares about the ranch and the people.
My hear broke for Damian when I found out what he had been struggling with. I loved that Ruthie was able to see it first and knew that she was capable of helping him.
Reining Men
Jack and Paul have been best friends for awhile however he hasn't kept is interest in Paul a secret.
I liked the dynamic between Jack and Paul. They were friends before they were lovers. Jack did seem a little pushy at times because Paul wasn't interested in men but Jack could see he was softening to him.
Lissy is a woman who just wanted to experience life and were better to do that, but at the Boot Knockers Ranch where she becomes very interested in not one but two cowboys.
It was fun watching the three of them grow in this book. They were all on a path and this book tied it up in a nice way where everyone got a happily ever after.
Ropin Hearts
I love this series. While this one was not my favorite of the series, I did enjoy it.
The chemistry between Ty and Bree was out of this world. Ty at times could seem like the most fun, laid back guys ever, other times he is one bossy man.
I guess the reason I didn't like this book as much as the other was how much of a brat Bree was. I know that some people are very interested in that, and I can understand being a brat in certain situations, but to me it seemed too much.
I did like reading about what Ty did to teach her a lesson though. That man is hot!!!
Rope Burn
This is Stowe's book. He has been mentioned in the other books but this is his book to get his HEA. Stowe is a man who can read woman. It is a talent that has served him well. This is what makes him so wildly popular among the women. He is the resident BDSM expert.
Tabbart is a woman who likes to have control of everything. However she is finding out that with more fame, more control gets taken away from you. She is starting to not even recognize herself anymore. However when Stowe comes to visit the set that Tabbart works at, sparks fly.
I loved that Tabbart took a risk and find out where Stowe was and went to him. This took a lot of guts. I was also surprised how quickly Stowe assessed what Tabbart needed and acted. It was really hot.
Cowboy Not Included
This is a great second chance story with a lot of heat!!
Skye has been doing the single mom thing for two long. All she wants is a cowboy in the sheets and a relationship between her daughter and ex. When she finds out where he works, she books a week and hopes to get both things taken care of.
I loved Skye's spunk, but I am very surprised how shocked she was when Booker wouldn't let her be with any of the other Boot Knockers. This put them together in a tight corridor with nothing but tension between them....both good and bad.
Booker likes his job as a Boot Knocker. He likes helping the ladies and also the friends he has made. When Skye comes back to him, everything is thrown off balance. Watching a jealous boot knocker was fun.
Cupid Cowboys
What a quick, dirty and fun read this was. I have been missing the boot knockers and this one made me very happy.
Jared and Brock are two boot knockers who have been interested in the head chef since she started. They have decided this this Valentines day they are going to finally give in. These two men are together and want to share LeeLee. When they look at her they see their future. Now they just need to get the quiet chef on board.
LeeLee seems like a really nice person. She is quiet and does amazing work. She takes pride in her creations and likes seeing people happy with the food that she has prepared. While she seems a little innocent on the outside, her thoughts are very naughty and it involve two very hot cowboys.
I loved this book and I really enjoy this series. My only complaint is that being it was a novella it felt too short. I really hope there are more books in this series.

This is an anthology about the Book Knockers Ranch. The ranch features cows and horses, as well as chickens and men who see to a woman's pleasure...some of the ladies have issues of low self-esteem, others can't find pleasure from a man, other's need to drop their annoying V-card. These are the stories of some of the Ranch's cowboys and the ladies that they spend a week with...The anthology includes Pushin' Buttons which is tale of Sibyll, Hugh and Riggs. Sibyll has never found satisfaction from a man, been described as frigid and sexless, but Hugh had other ideas, and when gets together with Riggs, who is also attracted to Hugh, the triad gets very steamy...The second book is Body Language which is the story of school teacher Ruthie who grew up in a rigid, very religious household and Damian who is a rope aficionado, takes very sexy pictures and can't read. Their story is steamy sweet...The third offering is Reining Men where Jack is attracted to Paul who is not interested at all in any type of relationship with another guy...but Jack had a new cherry to pop in the form of Lissy who also is interested in a three-way relationship to include Paul...In the forth book of Ropin' Hearts, Ty introduces some BDSM into the mix, when he and Bree tangle. She is a spoiled rich girl with too much time on her hands and he is a man who makes his living giving pleasure to females during their week-long stay at the ranch...their chemistry is off the charts, but can he teach her to behave....the fifth book is Rope Burn where Stowe, the cowboy with the sexy Australian accent and a penchant for BDSM. Food show host Tabbart, tracks down her assistant's brother to ranch where he works after Stowe visits the set. She then books herself for a week stay at the ranch...but she is always in control, but is finding that the better known she is the less control she has... The sixth book is Cowboy Not Included which is about Booker, the cowboy who loves all the toys and has a full closet of them, big, little, battery-operated and in between...but when he sees his ex-wife Skye on the stage, he refuses to allow any other man to have her for the week. She just wanted to track him down to get him involved in his daughter's life, but now he's thinking of more...the bonus novella is Cupid Cowboys where Jared and Brock are both trying to get the attention of the quiet chef at the ranch. This box set was worth the price if you like hot sexy scenes.
Pushin buttons: Sibyll has been told she is frigid. Hugh has alot on his shoulders, being the man in charge of the ranch; but when he sees Sibyll, he has that instant attraction. Riggs lost out to Hugh, and that didn't make him happy. Watch as these three work out their differences, and become a threesome.
Body language: Damian is the bad boy of the ranch, but he is also into photography. Ruthie is a teacher, who had a strict upbringing which effects all relationships with men. These two complete each other.
Reining Men: This story is more focused on Paul, the newest boot knocker and his best friend Jack. Lizzy is an athlete who is still new to intimacy. This is an instant attraction story, between all three.
Ropin Hearts: Ty is trying to keep neighbor Bree off the ranch; however he fails at this. The chemistry off these two sets the theme.
Rope Burn: Stowe, the Dom from down under, meets his match in Tabbart. She meets him, prior to making reservations just to spend time with him. This is a slow burn, that you don't want to put down.
Cowboy not included: we met Booker, in the past books, fighting to keep out of his toy collection. Skye is from Bookers past, and she shows up to spend some time with a cowboy, but also to talk to Booker. These two had a really hard time communicating.
Cupid Cowboys: I admit I was lost, since in this one had Lee Lee as a 27 yo female; while Bookers comp versatile with the chef had her as a 50 y o female.
However after, deciding to let that go, I enjoyed the story of Lee Lee getting sexy with the two cowboys she had a crush on. Brock and Jared were known to share women, and they put their sights on Lee Lee.
Overall the stories were enjoyable and steamy. As mentioned there was some issues with continuity. I own the box set, and I will read again from time to time.

What a fantastic set of stories! Hotter than Texas on the Fourth of July, these stories are guaranteed to warm you up right down to your toes!
Each story starts with one of our resident Boot Knockers (sometimes two) meeting their client for that week's therapy session, and immediately there's something different for them. All the cowboys are bi, though some more so than others, so you can count on plenty of action between a wide variety of consenting partners. Ah, but once emotions start to get involved, the freewheeling antics morph into the kind of lovestruck exclusivity that is the hallmark of a beautiful romance.
The first story nicely sets up the ranch and its mission, ending with the first retirees from the rotation as they figure out how to stay active on the ranch they love while no longer providing personal services to guests. Two of the six (and the bonus novella) involve one woman and her two cowboys, while the other four tell a more traditional MF story. Even in the MF pairings, most will have a menage scene or two.
There's a bit of BDSM in each of the stories, leading up to my favorite one - Rope Burn - that finds our resident Dom getting his heart all tied up. Another favorite was Cowboy Not Included, which is a beautifully sweet second-chance romance.
This is probably my favorite box set of all time, and I know I'll be rereading it again and again. If you're familiar with this author, you know you're in for a good time on the Boot Knockers Ranch. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this set.

Oh my, grab the reins and hang on.
I got this through KU and oh boy!
I had read one other book by this author, so I already knew it was going to be HOT HOT HOT. In fact, there was no doubt that I would need ice water (and other er .... implements) before I got done with this book.
I liked all the characters. Let me say that first. Em Petrova writes her men sexy, built, hung, and adorable. I can't think of other words that describe them better than this. And then she puts them in sexual situations that are just out of this world. If you have looking for searing heat, steam that will fog the windows (or your glasses), and love that isn't held back, then start on this author's books. And this would be the one to start on.
My favorites? Hugh and Riggs. O.M.G. bring me a hose to cool off with. If you love fantasies of threesomes, this story should stay in your memory for a loooong time. The other guys are hot too, but Petrova knows how to write an MMF and make it work.
I've been reading erotica since I was old enough to buy it. This author does a very good job of putting sex on paper and making it stick, lol. Pardon the pun. :-) Looking forward to the next Em Petrova book I pick up.

This box set is simply said one of the better ones I have ever read. The stories are just so captivating and grab you so that you just want to keep reading without a pause. What I also really love about the stories from this author is the care which is taken while writing as there are simply no typos or other errors. And for a stickler with correctly written language it is a tremendeous plus. But the stories are all individual but best to read in correct order as there is some written about the characters from previous stories, so to get these in a box set like this is really good and of course good for the purse as well. For some it might seem that there are many stories together as they are not short ones but the way they are written you just want to read on and on and on and on and... So fabulous five stars for this box set from me.

The Boot Knockers Ranch Box Set Books 1-6 by Em Petrova. I have read each of these books separately and was pleased to have a chance to get them in a set and read again. This set contains 6 fast paced stories with swoon worthy characters that will have you begging for more. There is something for everyone in this Boot Knocker Ranch set and I thought it was very entertaining. The author does a great job keeping you vested in the story and outcomes. This book set was filled with a good mix of mild drama, personal conflicts, quirky and charismatic and plenty of steam along with some great HEAs. I would recommend this book and author to others. Loved the stories and the idea behind the ranch. A place where women can go for a week to live out their desires. Some to heal, some to find their own strength, and some just for fun.
The Cowboys get to try a different woman every week. But even non stop luster gets old or sometimes the lust becomes love.
Here are some love stories of finding the one or two who complete you and getting your happy ever after family.
Read them one after another or space them out either way you will need to cool down after they heat you up.

This is an amazing series by Em Petrova. This is a box set of the first 6 books and a novelette. It is hours of enjoyment. I can't pick a favorite story because they are all so great. Women come to Boot Knockers Ranch to help overcome some issue that they may have sexual. These cowboys are all to happy to help these women out. Somewhere along the way, they begin to connect with certain women. These women love their time at the ranch but they leave something behind. Will these men and women take a chance at happily ever after?

An exciting box set of riveting reads that are well written, fast pace and emotionally deep. The storylines are entertaining, steamy, witty, funny, and full of heart. The characters are likeable and well written; their chemistry is off the charts. Definitely recommended!

I loved this series. Who doesn’t love fit,sexy cowboys who are paid to full fill your every fantasy. Each book has their cowboy , their own story and each lady who comes to the ranch comes with a hang up and their cowboy helps them through it and they usually don’t leave after having wrangled their cowboy. Each book is seriously hot and steamy and there story’s will leave you swooning. I have read these books a few times and I have to say that this is my favourite series by this author. If you want to get lost for a few hours this is the perfect box set to do it with.

This is a collection of different cowboy stories that take place at a ranch to caters to women who come for different reasons. Each book has a storyline about a woman coming to the ranch for a personal reason and a cowboy or two that gets matched to the woman to help her with her problem. There are wonderful times between the two as they find a solution and sometimes it involved the cowboy and a HEA. A fun read for reading enjoyment!

Be it one on one dealing with whatever problem they have or maybe a third party be it male or female. Sometimes the guys and even ladies on staff satisfy eachother. But slowly the cowboys start to fall for the women who need their help. A few struggle with the love of fellow cowboys thrown into the mix.

Each of these books have their own story, characters and trouble. The females all come in looking to feel better about themselves, but the cowboys can’t resist falling in love. Some with each other as well. I love how the ranch is run and how each visitor is matched with their ideal guy (or guys). This has been a favorite series of mine from the beginning.
