Amelia's mother disappeared years ago, and it was assumed that The Shadow took her. The Shadow is a serial killer who targets families of police officers. Now after years of being dormant, Amelia's sister is missing and Amelia is sure the Shadow has her. Will Amelia find her sister in time? Can she find out exactly what happened to her mother? You will need to read this great story to find out.

Fantastic book! best crime thriller ever!

I loved this book! It was so beautifully written. I am so glad I came across it. I look forward to reading more by this talented author and more in this trilogy! I would recommend this book and author to all I know.

Hummed, Humming, Hum

I’ve never seen a word so overused in a book. I think the first couple of chapters used a derivative of “hummed” about 1,000 times. Very irritating. Use a thesaurus for Heavens sake.

A GAME OF SHADOWS by Jessica King is disturbing. To even think this monster and his ambitions are realistic is scary and somehow scary doesn't quite capture the right feelings. A terrifying tale of evil and a sick mind make up this Shadow person tale. The book does not end with an ending like I would like but goes into the next book. If you like stories of serial killers, then you will relish this tale.
