Sexting mit dem Boss

Rate this book

What happens when you send your boss a dick pic?

Chandler Mitchell is about to find out.

A moment of distraction was all it took. One moment, and then reality strikes long enough for Chandler to realize the awful truth - he's just sexted his boss.
He's gonna fire my ass.
So he isn't really surprised to get the email requesting his attendance at a meeting Monday morning.
Fuck. Canned for sure.
But when he's invited into the boss's office, Chandler is confused to see Stu Ganford's obviously good mood.
The good news? His ass is safe. He's not about to be fired.

The bad news? The boss wants to make some changes.
Maybe Chandler's ass isn't as safe as he thinks.

After Chandler accidentally sends a dick pic to his stoic boss Stu, he’s certain Monday morning will see him fired. But Stu has other ideas, proposing a sexually gratifying (but professionally and ethically dubious) compromise, in which Chandler will be at Stu’s sexual beck and call, in order to save his job.

Now, to me, this set-up was wildly inappropriate and made me uncomfortable, but we are assured time and again that “slutty” Chandler is more than willing to bend over a desk and be ravished at Stu’s will... so, if he’s okay with it, can I really get worked up over it on his behalf? I’m not sure. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Dubious situation aside, this kinky novella turned fairly sweet and heart-warming before long, with Chandler and Stu quickly realising and admitting that their “just sex” deal meant a lot more to both of them than they first expected.

Feelings developed quickly in this one, but along with the fast and heavy sex scenes, the insta-ness of it all seemed fitting to the story and the characters.

Although not my favourite story by Wells, Sexting the Boss is definitely a viable pick if you’re in the mood for quick and dirty, with a dash of sweetness and vulnerability. Lovers of the office romance trope, especially hot and heavy ones, should enjoy this—just don’t expect anything too complex and you should be golden!

Spicy and surprisingly sweet boss/employee romance with an excellent meet/cute.

Kc has been writing this as a serialized story for her newsletter subscribers and now it's complete, is releasing it for all.

It's very hot, works really well as a supposed 'sex only becomes more' relationship and has lots of lovely emotional vulnerability moments to stop it veering into instalove-y territory.

Novella length, it's a perfect lunchtime treat.

#ARC kindly received from the author in return for an honest and unbiased review.

I normally don't rate a DNF, but I I got to 65% and all the story consisted of was sex and by then the MCs had been having sex for a week (after the boss initially coerced his employee into it) and then they started having feelings but it was just awkward. The sex scenes were alright but the dialogue was just stilted and boring.

I read this in its (free) serialized version by being a newsletter subscriber with this author.

Cute novella with some holy hot boysecks, Batman and a sweet if fast love story. Both MCs are super likable, and I enjoyed following their story. This author never fails to include a lot of emotion in her writing, and this book is no exception.

I understand that the published version is a bit extended and includes an epilogue. Definitely give this a go.

Except the black mail in the beginning, this book was really sweet.
Chandler sends accidentally a d*** pic to his boss Stu. Stu takes advantage of it: if Chandler wants to keep his job, he had to bend over the desk. I'm not ok with this proposal.

What I am about to propose will mean the continuation of your « employment here—if you agree to my terms. I can see I have your full attention, so I’ll come to the point and I’ll be blunt. You get to keep your job, as long as I get to fuck you.»

Chandler took it, and between the two guys a "relationship" started within a week. At the end, they are boyfriends.

Sweet but I don't think I can recommend this.

TO ALL THE FEMALE READERS GIVING THIS FIVE STARS:
If the MC was a woman and her boss threatened to fire her if she did not make herself sexually available, would you still be into this story?

This story is NOT ROMANCE. It is sexual harassment at work and this 'romancing abuse' trope needs to DIE.

There is nothing sexy about a guy being coerced into having sex or losing his job.
Clearly, lots of readers can't see past the 'ooh hot guys banging' and think this is okay cos it's fiction.

Personally, I don't.

This short novella was sweet, sexy, completely OTT, but it made me smile and both MC's were very likeable and hot together, so here is my inspiration... you're welcome.

Chandler sends a dick pic to his boss by accident. While Stu, his boss, thinks Chandler finally had the guts to make a move on him, there's clearly been a mistake, so he improvises and by that I mean he's blackmailing Chandler into office sex.

Yeah, it doesn't sound good, but it's fiction and it ends with these two actually having amazing sexual chemistry and getting to know each other. That part where Chandler topped, damn, that was sexy.

A week goes by and they realise there's real potential there, so they decide to give it a try, both getting serious about someone for the first time in their lives .

It was silly, yeah, but it worked for me.

What the fuck.

I thought this would be a fun boss/employee romance, not literal sexual coercion and blackmail. I’m DNF’ing from the first chapter and I’ll side eye any book from this author from now on. This is a messed up scenario to frame as a romance and the love interest is a fucking rapist.

Man, I was so excited for this, but in the end it wasn't really for me. It was mainly sex sex sex. I need more story with my sex, these days. Who knew 38 was old, cause that's how old I am and I just said I needed story with my sex. I didn't really like Stu or Chandler either. Maybe because we didn't know enough about them?

This was a hard one for me to rate.

I quite enjoy a good old office romance when that's what it is, but the premise of this story - the boss blatantly blackmailing an employee to have sex with him - makes me feel all sorts of icky. Also, to mention #MeToo in your story and then toss it aside as bullshit is... well... bullshit. An author should think about her readers and realize that this could have happened to so many of them! So to treat it with this cavalier an attitude (and even worse, sort of fetishize it at the beginning of the story), didn't sit right with me.

But if you can get past all that, the relationship was okay once it turned into a relationship more than a hook up.

I dunno... Probably my fault for reading this one. *shrugs*

Sexting the boss… or how a horribly awkward mistake can lead to a sizzling hot encounter and maybe possibly… true love. This story was a lot of fun to read! Stu starts out as a bit of a morally ambiguous character, but afterwards it seems to have been an atypical lapse in judgment and just what was needed to bring these two together. Chandler comes off cocky and somewhat superficial at first, but he has a vulnerable side that is so appealing. Neither MC was looking for love but suddenly they find themselves in a whirlwind romance, with all these pesky deeper feelings taking over in spite of their low expectations when it comes to relationships. I loved how fast it went and how it took them so by surprise. This is a short story but well-written and convincing. Recommend!

It was an overall okay-ish read. I wasn't blown away, but, at least, it was not so terrible that I had to drop it... Hey, when they got into action it was actually kinda hot. However, it's the beginning, and some stuff in-between that killed it for me.

The premise was fun (Chandler accidentally sent his very stuck-up boss, Stu, a dick pic). BUT it soon went downhill for me, because said boss actually tried to sexually coerce Chandler, giving him an ultimatum to be sexually available (he calls it on tap) for him all the time, or get fired. That's not okay, even if Chandler was willing, because the intent was still there after Stu found out the pic was, in fact, an accident. I was still forcing myself to ignore it, since, at the end, it was consensual.

Aside from the insta-love (It basically took them a week to fall deeply in love ), there was also this very cliché drama caused by a comically stupid co-worker, which cheapened the story, and just felt added to create some plot twist.

So to sum up, it was nothing special, but if you are really bored and looking for a quick read (and are not bothered by the beginning), I guess this one could do the trick. I would not recommend it though

I actually had a hard time to get into it but it turned out better than I expected.
First i thought it would be just porn without plot or any feelings but I was wrong, after half of the book it turned unexpected sweet and we got a bit more story to it. I did. liked the character grow in here, if you can call it that, but both Stu and Chandler found something unexpected in their arrangement and it turned out to the better for them. The tow of them had a nice chemistry and they kind of worked out together but I wished for a bit more deepens.

When Chandler Mitchell accidentally sends a dick pic to his boss, he could not fathom nor have predicted how his life would change.

The arrangement Stu proposed, and Chandler eagerly accepts, gradually evolves into so much more.

“Look, I knew from the outset this was just sex, okay? And that was fine by me. Fuck knows, I’ve lusted after you for long enough.”

This was really a fun to read. The dynamic between Stu, a reserve stiff Brit, and totally man-whore Chandler, was endearing, fun and loving. Add into that the off the charts hot sex and you've an explosive relationship.

Nope - not for me. I thought this would be a fun and humorous book but the fact that Chandler's boss tells him either be available for me whenever and however I want or lose your job. It doesn't matter to me that Chandler was attracted to him or would want to have sex with him - it's still sexual harassment. Chandler's boss seemed to justify his behavior by saying to himself that Chandler was a slut so why not. Then the majority of the book was sex. Somehow the two "fell in love" but I didn't buy it at all.

It starts out with sexual coercion. The author tries to get around that by saying the employee would be willing anyway. It was off-putting, but I tried to give it a chance. Some romances are a little taboo, right? Not something you'd want IRL, but some stories are just fantasy. Well, the story didn't get any better. The uptight boss is so wooden, he actually surprised himself by having emotions. He invited employee to dinner and wonders why he would even want to ask someone to dinner. He wonders that about himself. You know, one of THOSE kind of characters. I hate that. The whole story is awkward.

This short is hot and becomes sweeter as it goes. Chandler accidentally sends a pic to his boss Stu instead of his current hookup. What follows surprises both men as they find that they are more compatible than they thought. I loved that both men found themselves questioning their motives and feelings as things progress and that they made an effort to be honest and put themselves out of their comfort zone. Great quick read!

Disconcerted by this one. I expected it to be cute and funny, but that initial conversation between Chandler and Stu was extremely offputting If that one conversation could be tweaked just a bit to take away the ick factor, then the rest of the book might be more palatable, but just no, otherwise. While not cute and funny as expected, I actually might have enjoyed it fine if not for that starting point.

Way too much sex for one, and the whole sex on tap or be fired just scrrams skeevy. Insta Love just made it weird.
