To be completely fair, I only really read the first books about Kalos Aeon and skimmed the Ruby's Calloway books. It was harder for me to get invested in Ruby's character with the decades in the future thing her books had. Post-apocalyptic future just isn't my thing.
I appreciated the side characters probably more than the main one. Without them, Kalos would not have been as interesting. The events were unique to this series, and just different enough from the Dresden Files to keep me reading.

Amazing!
Wonderful box set, full of action, with a demoness, Fae, and shifters. Ruby is a Realmfarer, she is capable of crossing the realms beyond Earth. She is determined to stop a megalomaniac and his company from taking the best of all the realms of their resources for himself. All to gain more power. The twist is that she loves the nutjob's son. Really a great fantasy read, with a ass kickin' heroine!

Fast pace story with a great deal of adventure and intriguing action
The author has written a story of supernatural beings and how they need to be controlled. The fast pace is sure to keep you entertained and guessing. Very resourceful and imaginative story.

Very good worth sticking out till the end

Darker than the usual book. Not a happy read and think the endings are a bit abrupt and not in sync with most of the story.
Worth a go if you like fantasy a bit gritty.
