Life was all so simple until three women crossed paths with the Morley Brothers.

This was one of those books that was worth me leaving a review. Please do not hesitate to read this book. I assure you, you won’t be disappointed. Beginning to end everything flowed so well. Then the drama. Oh the drama. Every character has put themselves into f***ed up positions and I can’t wait until part two to see how it works out.

This is my first read by this author... The storyline was okay... I think this book had so many issues for me that it pulled away from the storyline itself... This book is very repetitive of a lot of unimportant information... I feel like things are dragged out and there is way to much over explaining of every LITTLE thing or just to much information... It just felt like the author was doing to much fluffing to make the book longer... So this pulls away from things for me... I did not like the beginning and how it was just rambling on about everyone's name and it was all Greek God names... Again it was all unnecessary information for me... As I continued to read it did smooth out a bit but towards the end the repeating and over explaining was picked right back up and I became disconnected with the storyline again... I feel that without all this extra stuff.. This storyline could be really good... Now as this storyline is coming to an end this book really picked up... Then the cliffhanger... So now it has my intrest again... I definitely feel that this author some skills, just needs to tone down the over detailing for me...
This family is just a mess... I mean we have Ares (Soul) that just sleeps around and does not want to be in a relationship... We have Adonia (Alpha) he is in charge of the family but he is making moves that he thinks he has control of... But it could cost his family everything... we also have Achilles (Blasta) he loves being in a relationship he was in one for a while but that didnt work... But now just when things are looking great he hates the news he just got... But he is being a jerk about it....
I really like Korrey and Gucci.. These women are so faithful and not just out here sleeping with everyone... I just hate the way that the men they decide to give themselves to end up treating them... They just need to walk away and just leave all the drama with these men alone... Gucci has been given possibly the only chance she may get for the one thing that she wants the most and because this selfish man and the BS he is bringing her way... She is about to give up her own happiness... Why... She does not need him... She could just move away and do her own thing... He does not have to be a part of anything if he does not want to... Why should she have to suffer because of him...
Korrey is stuck fighting her feelings between her heart and her mind... And now with this news, it could possibly cost her her life...
Then we have Bronnie... I know she is about her job... She is going hard.... But she let her guard down on her love life and now look at what she is caught up in... Now what is she going to do... Because this decision could definitely cost someone their life, if not many...

Kelly has done it again another banger that kept me on the edge of my seat. The Morley's are all crazy but I can't help but love them. I don't understand why Soul is running from his feelings for Korrey. Blasta needs his a$$ beat for how he did Gucci. Alpha is in over his head, I think all the cousins are. This is a must read, you will NOT be disappointed.

My God... Where do I Begin??? Lets just say I am very happy that I read this authors book. All the Morley men have some serious issues. Ares & Korrey, She put it on Ares in so many ways, and now he is ruined, and she is facing a loaded gun, with Jarrell, who was and IS a total Snake alongw/ his clingy sister, They both knew that Korrey & Ares were messing around, he is the so called PLUG and he knew nothing?? BULL.. Gucci & Achilles... Please let Gucci have that baby, that trip to Jamaica and that drink got her to this point for a reason.. Achilles showed her too much love, and now cannot deal with his loving her. He is a selfish bully, well he cannot flatten her tires anymore (that was hilarious), the game has been changed for him again. Wonder what happened w/Mariah & Pilot those trashbags.. Bronnie WOWWWWWW wonder what she is going to do with the case, since I think she is pregnant... Cannot prosecute her childs father Aidonia... Well he may have beem trying to keep her on a leash, to stay ahead of the investigation, but he is on a leash cuz he loves her mentally & physically.. Hope they can stay together. My mouth was wide open for fly catching with the Bomb from Jarrell. Hell I am crazy NOW... Well Done Few Grammatical Errors, but not enough to change my rating... Looking Forward to the Next Book....

This is a review of the series.
This author owes me nothing with this series. The plot was engaging. The Morley's weren't your typical crime family. They were next level. The men were crazy alphas with a soft spot for the women they loved. The twins, Zeus and Thaddeus, as well as Athena, stole every scene they were involved with the next generation of Morley men. I loved that the author had the women give as good as they got. Black love and romance was front and center. The plot was organized and executed well. The story was also true to its genre.
The only con for me was in book one there were lots of characters with nicknames and it was hard to keep track of who was who without going back to check. I think lovers of urban fiction romance will enjoy this series immensely.

It's seems everybody lives had took a turn for the worst. Aidonia thought he had a full proof plan when it came to Bronnie and he almost did but someone is bitter and wants revenge and let the truth out. Achilles found out Mariah was scandalous. Gucci found out Pilot was up to no good. Achilles and Gucci decided to get both Pilot and Mariah back but that didn't go according to plan. I hate how Achilles is doing Gucci knowing she had a hard time with wanting one of her dreams to come true. Now that it has happened. Achilles is trying to take that away from her. Ares and Korrey should have been upfront about how they feel but with Jarell in the picture. I don't think it's going to end well if and when the truth comes out. Also someone else is harboring feelings for Ares and he's going to be shocked if it ever is revealed.

With a few friends Tyrese, Korrey and Pilot this crew is set. When the family is warned their is a new Detective Bronnie looking to bust down this crew and by all means. Alpha is also the lead who will become Bronnie’s main focus, Ares will find out his brother from another mother Pilot has some secrets and his bff Korrey steps right in. Unknown relationships began to get serious and these boys do not know how to handle it. Life is going good but wrong decisions will be the ultimate payback and Bronnie has anything to do with it she will take this family down and we all know when a woman is scorned...oh my!

This is getting good. I feel sorry for Gucci and how Brayley doing her. Boy I hope she doesn’t go through with the termination. Alpha’s skeletons have come out of the closet because of a bitter booty call. I hope Korrey and Soul can be together. Jarelle is a snake and I hope his dirty laundry comes out real soon. On to part 2.

This book was so good from beginning to end and what a ending. Enjoyed the storyline, plot and these characters. This book was sooooooo good! I absolutely adore the Morley family... Elena is a scorned mess and she stirred some mess back up that was being laid to rest. Nothing good is gonna happen with that and it makes my heart break. I can't believe how Achilles is doing Gucci.. He got me hot right now.. I hope he gets some sense or Gucci just says f'em and handles it herself.. Ares has put him and Korrey in a pickle. But that Ty though, shocked the hell outta me!!!! Them Morley men are something else! All of them have my nerves bad. Soul was so stupid for pushing Korrey away and now things are all bad. I can’t believe that Elena played with her own life like that. Alpha should’ve known better. Now both Soul and Alpha got the family hot behind their bad choices. I can’t stand Blasta right now. How he gonna play Gucci like that. I hope she has that baby and gives him the middle finger. Great book! Can’t wait to read part 2!

This book was really good. There are snakes all around this camp. All poo ha should have killed his bitter sex buddy. Bonnie is g kung to try and ruin him and his family but I think she will end up pregnant. Ares needs to off Tyresse because he is going to be a problem. Gucci needs to have her baby and let Achilles work out his demons without her. vivant wait to read part 2. Kettle is a loser and don't deserve Korrey.

This was a great read. I really liked Ares and Korrey's story line. I can say this book had a few twists that i really wasn't expecting especially at the end. The story seemed to drag a bit in the middle of the book and i contemplated putting the book down, but I'm glad I didn't. I look forward to part 2
