How many times have you read a book that truly changed your life before?

Called to a far-off kingdom, Anders Brolly must protect his friends and family from the greatest threat any land has ever seen. An ancient mage of transcendent power who will stop at nothing in his plan to seize control of the world by force or guile…
The only thing standing between that fate and the evil wizard of old… is Anders. A young boy, with the mind of a stuffy and gentle historian riding inside of him…
If his friends are to survive, he must become something far more than anyone would have ever thought possible. A thing that even he isn’t certain can exist.

P.S. Power

P.S. Power works in fiction, mainly focusing on Fantasy, Science Fiction and Horror genres, with brief forays into other things just to keep life interesting. He averages 1 to 2 books monthly and has several series going. He lives in an isolated cabin in the middle of nowhere, as a recluse, yet still manages to find time to talk to people online, in a positive and delightful manner. Not one of those creepy hermit types though, you understand. It's more of an isolated farm style thing. Or ranch really. He's also interested in three dimensional photography, and long moonlit walks on the beach, sometimes with vampires. When he can find time he also does writing and voice work for scripted online programs. Anyway, feel free to drop him a line.

Hello Everyone!

In chatting with Dale over the past few weeks, it was decided that he was interested in blogging to you, his readers. The blog he had within the main site was not going to be a viable solution and there were thoughts of just creating a Forum where only he could post and everyone else could reply. This MOD is a nice meeting of the two for what will hopefully be a highly successful blog!

Hoping this first (and only) post by me will kick off a nice method of interaction with Dale's readers!

p.s. - Also going to try and get the feed that comes with this to feed into Amazon and Goodreads. Good luck to one and all!!

Pretty much what I expected from this author. Usually around book 3 is when I start getting tired of of the characters. The magic system is always the most fascinating thing about his stories. The MC personality starts to get to me though. In the first book the responses are expected or at least interesting. By the third book it becomes pretty annoying. Anders walks around still thinking he is only a messenger and a cooks assistant. In the first book, I can understand that. Since then he has shown that he is probably one of the most gifted magic users in the world. So him walking around telling people he is only an apprentice and that he should be beaten if he doesn't do better gets very annoying. It worked better in the Young Ancients series as there was a reason for that MCs actions. There might be a reason for Anders to act that way as well, but it still doesn't mean it doesn't get annoying. Also, it gets pretty annoying when Anders works himself to death for no particular reason. I can understand if he does stuff like that in a battle, but he uses so much energy making things that aren't really important that he has almost died multiple times. That gets annoying as well. I can't understand what Anders really wants. He likes to learn and is constantly busy but I don't understand what he really wants in life. He wants to stop Gange but that is more of a feeling of responsibility than a true want. What will make him happy? I don't know. Again though, it is the magic that keeps bringing me back to these stories. It is a good thing this book was just recently released because I do think I need a break from P.S Powers writing style for a while.

Masterful work of a magical world

Compelling and well written, this story follows the life of a young boy/ancient man blended together by magic. Follow along as he learns the craft of magic, as he fights evil and grows in power and intelligence to save the world from an ancient enemy. The world building is complex and satisfying, making it bloom to life in your mind as you read. It was difficult to put the book down! Highly recommend this series!! It's a whole new world to immerse yourself in.

I'm tired of...

I'm tired of Anders always being the whipping boy. He needs to stop doing what others demand of him, who really have no power over him. His master, sure, but a random prince from another country who's escorting him, while being mean and demeaning all the time? It seems ridiculous. He should also by now, not be doing everything for everyone. They need to stand on their own, cooks and driver's, etc. Plus, by not taking credit for the impressive things he did do, he's demeaning those he travels with when they do impressive stuff too.

A fine, if somewhat different road. Really a great work.

P. S. Power has outdone himself! The story winds itself around itself while works to enhance the morality and strength of Anders. The work seems to be bringing us to another, perhaps final, chapter in this story line. Time will tell!

Drags a little

The story drages more than the first two in this series. I will read the last two and see how it improves. I have read most books of Powers and overall they are some of my favorite.

Bad book

Way to much pedophile gay and lesbian crap, the writer needs to be investigated for child pornography!! But he or she wont be because thats how they get away with their atrocitys

Great but Why

This story of a old librarian who is merged with a bastard prince was a great story. But somewhere along the way, Tor Baker takes over the MC Why?

Very good

I really like how P. S. Powers writes. I was a amazed how the story weaves around magic. I would never thought about using magic the way the story is told.
