Sit back and relax as you read the TUNDRA comics that have had folks blowing milk out of their noses and spitting coffee on their breakfast tables for years! This book contains well over 200 of cartoonist, Chad Carpenter's favorite strips from 2016 to 2020 in bright eye-cramping color! Tundra is an outdoors & nature-themed strip that has often been called 'the new Far Side' by newspaper editors. In just a few years of self-syndication TUNDRA appears in well over 600 new newspapers around the world. These include the Los Angeles Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Vancouver Sun, the Seattle Times, the Honolulu Star-Bulletin, the Denver Post, the Arizona Star and the Kingston Gleaner in Jamaica.
Chad Carpenter is an American cartoonist, best known for his comic panel Tundra. Carpenter launched the strip in the Anchorage Daily News in his home state of Alaska in 1991. Since then, he has self-syndicated it to over 330 newspapers, an unusually high amount for strips in self-syndication. -Wikipedia
I was between 4 and 5 stars but this was good enough to get that fifth star. Pleasant art and amusing ideas — not quite satirical or punny enough to be used in my classes but still worth the read.
