I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Teagan hasn’t had the best year after losing her mother to breast cancer and a sorts in hurting ending her soccer career she’s in Diamond Ridge to visit her grandmother before deciding what she will do with her life. She wasn’t expecting Aiden he takes her by surprise and the immediate connection they have is something that’s never happened to her before but with her track record with men can she really put her trust in him or will he be year another man that lets her down?
Aiden knee that Teagan was someone special with just a glance but she’s holding back and he wants all of her. As a police officer he’s used to seeing the dark side of life and she brings him the light but it could all be for nothing after she gets the wrong idea. Can he convince her that she’s it for him or did autocorrect cost him his HEA?
These books are so much fun to read and you always get the right amount of angst with them. Safe, short and steamy. 4🌟 read.

lovely story, good romance, fun characters with good chemistry .. a great grandma..LOL. I really enjoyed it, this is a series to follow. from me 5 stars

AIDEN is the second book in the GAMES-Diamond Ridge Mountain Men series and it is a sweet and sexy novella with emotion and heart.
At thirty-three Aiden Carter finds himself having moved back to his home town of Elk River to look after his mother. But it was also a time for a change so he retired from playing MLS for the San Francisco Badgers and now he is an Officer in the Diamond County Sheriff's department. He father had passes several years previously and his mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and has just finished her last chemo treatment. The community tried to look after her but when she said she needed him his heart broke and he came home.
Teagan Lowell has had a hard year. Her mother died from breast cancer a year ago and she had been playing professional soccer for the Las Vegas Chips team when she tore her ACL in her knee and ended up having it repaired with a cadaver one. She has gone through rehab and physio but her professional playing days are over and her team let her go. Her eighty-two year old grandmother, Rosie Lowell, had phoned her up and said she needed her to come and look after her. So Teagan packed up and drove from Vegas to Elk River to look after her for a short period of time. The only problem is that Rosie is "a faker" as she just wanted Teagan's company. So Teagan has no job and is now living with her grandmother, who is a very lively "character".
Teagan is out on one of the fields in the early morning before anyone else is up doing drills and practicing with her soccer ball. She looks up and finds a man following her same routine on the opposite side of the field, mimicking her. Annoyance gets to her and he continues to do this so she takes it to midfield meeting him there and they have some fun together. But she gets passed him and ... she shots ... she scores ... she wins ... That is until she turns around in her victory dance and finds the man writhing on the ground holding his knee. She has just met Aiden but it turns out he is a big faker just like her grandmother. But when he takes her for breakfast, after apologizing, they get to talking and there is a major spark between them, with some thoughts on both sides of a possible future.
This is a wonderfully written and fun, entertaining, laugh out loud and grin at story. Teagan and Aiden are both starting over, but they are at different places along that journey. Aiden fell for Teagan immediately and he fell hard, no faking. Teagan is not sure she can trust, as men are all takers from her. So Aiden has to gain Teagan's trust and faith in him, which he does. I absolutely loved Grandma Rosie. She is the crazy grandma who midnight streaks through town every year, goes dancing every week, is trying to nail down a man, will fleece her own granddaughter at poker and is a wise cracking character. Yep she is the grandmother we all wish we could have and would be in the future..........full of life and love!!!

Teagan has come into town to take care of her grandmother while playing on the soccer field she sees Aiden also playing soccer. Aiden has been watching Teagan for a while and decides that today he will introduce himself to her. After a little banter they go to breakfast together, after breakfast Teagan invites Aiden over for dinner. The to start a slow relationship with one another we’re taking admits to Aiden that she has never been with anybody before because she’s always been searching for something special. Things are going really well for them until one day, Aiden is going to be having dinner with a friend from high school, Gabrye,, he does invite Teagan to join him and she is staying home with her grandmother. Later that evening she decide she will go and see Aiden and hang out with him and his friend, when she gets there she sees him leaving with another woman and she misunderstands and leaves the restaurant without even going and talking to him. Her text autocorrected Gabrye to Gabe and Teagan thinks Aiden lied to her. Aidan not really to give up Teagan takes his friend with him to her grandmothers house and tries to win Teagan back. One epilogue introducing Teagan’s brother Becker.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the second book in the GAMES-Diamond Ridge Mountain Men series. In this book, Aiden returns to his hometown to care for his mother who has breast cancer. Aiden is a police officer and when he sees a woman playing soccer in the field where he runs, he knows he has to meet her. Teagan is in town to care for her grandmother and is recovering from surgery that ended her soccer career. When Teagan meets Aiden, she is surprised to find she is interested in him. Aiden asks Teagan to go for breakfast after their workout and she agrees. Aiden knows he is interested in Teagan and wants a chance to prove he is a good guy. I really loved this one. Aiden and Teagan had a lot in common and were both starting over. I like their chemistry and thought they were great together. Another good one.

This is the second book in this fun series where the characters live in the area of Diamond Ridge but also have a connection to sport in some way. In this latest offering the connection is soccer Teagan played at the highest levels and is recovering from major knee surgery she will never play at that level again She also has her walls firmly in pace as every man in her life ghas wanted to use her either for her money or her fame Aiden also played soccer at an elite level but he spent just as much time on the bench as the field and as now decided to start is life over away from sport. He sees her training on the field and is instantly attracted but can he get her to trust him and give them a chance

Brynn Hale is an author not to miss! She is an automatic, stop what you're doing and READ! This story is no exception. It is a cute story, sweet and sexy. Aiden is a man who knows what he wants, and that is Teagan. Teagan is strong, but floundering. Her dream has ended, and now she must figure out a new way to live. She had bad luck with men, been hurt multiple times. But she never saw Aiden coming. Sexy and strong and just a genuinely good guy, Aiden is not about to walk away from Teagan, proving to her that good men do exist. Add in a grandma with no shame, and you have a cast of characters that are easy to fall in love with!

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Aiden is book two in the ‘’games – diamond ridge mountain men’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Aiden meets Teagan he wants her but will she give love a chance?
The chemistry between Aiden and Teagan is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

Two lonely souls with a common love – soccer. But whereas Aiden has learned to approach another slowly so to not scare them, Teagan has baggage from guys who have lied and hurt her. He really respects her by deferring to her repeatedly. He expresses his love in what he does. When Teagan finally lets him in her heart, she finds the peace and comfort that she always needed. Their relationship had me swooning and dreamily wishing for a guy like Aiden.

Aiden can't help, but be drawn to the woman he sees practicing on the field. Teagan struggles with letting others close. Will Teagan give them a chance? Will Aiden find the connection he was searching for?
Loved this steamy quick read. I didn't blame Teagan for being scared, but loved when she allowed herself to fall. I loved how Aiden was one of the good guys and was determined to prove it to her. Good read

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this quick story about Aiden and Teagan. She's back home taking care of her grandma. She used to play soccer but an injury left her on the sidelines. But she still likes to practice. When Aiden interrupts practice he convinces her to take a chance. Aiden is a police officer and is drawn to Teagan. Great HEA in the end.

Cute book!
Teagan has moved in with her grandma to "take care of her". Which is just a ride to get her to move closer. Aiden moved to town to take care of his mom. They meet on the soccer field and she is a little.skittish of him. Give her a chance, she explains her reasons. Cute ending.

This story was sweet and romantic as heck. Aiden fell head over heels for Teagan. She was a bit reluctant because of her past with guys but holy heck Aiden was perfect. It was sweet how he interacted with her. A sweet and totally safe story with a great HEA. Can't wait for the next book in this series.

Really enjoying this series. This is book two in this Diamond Ridge Mountain Men series. You will not be disappointed. The story is well described and holds your attention till the end. The characters are enjoyable and their chemistry is off the charts. This author has another amazing hit on their hands. I can't wait to read the next book.

Great book
Aiden knew he wanted teagan once he set eyes on her.
Teagan didnt trust very well. So she had walls he had to break thru.
Aiden did all he could to get her to trust him and let him in. They both have in common the love for soccer.

Absolutely Awesome Read, well written, great characters, Awesome story line, easy read to hold you on their journey, this genre might not be for everyone but its a really wonderful story cannot wait for more from this Author.
