Troy Battleson is a man with many secrets. No wonder his call sign is Rogue.
A former special operations pilot, Troy is now a ferocious lawyer engaged in a high-stakes mission to catch a mysterious enemy. Handsome and smooth-talking, he hides his past behind an extensive catalog of manipulating charm.
Marisol Mendez is a scientist playing the dangerous role of spy. She's on a mission of her own to avenge her sister’s murder and preserve her family’s legacy.
The most dangerous thing they could do is fall in love...
Anna del Mar writes hot, smart romances that soothe the soul, challenge the mind, and satisfy the heart. Her stories focus on strong heroines struggling to find their place in the world and the brave, sexy, kickass, military heroes who defy the limits of their broken bodies to protect the women they love. She is the author of The Asset (Carina Press), the first novel of her Wounded Warrior series and three other novels scheduled for release during 2016.
A Georgetown University graduate, Anna enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing, and the sea. Writing is her addiction, her drug of choice, and what she wants to do all the time. The extraordinary men and women she met during her years as a Navy wife inspire the fabulous heroes and heroines at the center of her stories. When she stays put—which doesn’t happen very often—she lives in Florida with her indulgent husband and two very opinionated cats.
Troy is the third novel in Anna del Mar's addictive Alpha Heroes series, a series I've been following and enjoying immensely since its inception, and this novel is no exception. It is another exciting, sexy, emotional, intense novel of romantic suspense, and it gets 5 stars from this reader.
Troy is the third Battleson brother to be featured in this series. These are not genetically connected brothers, but men who had it rough from the get-go. Troy was a preemie, left in a gutter by his mother, but all of these men met in juvenile detention, bonded, and were eventually adopted by parents who cared about them, and helped turn them into fine Battleson men they became. Their outdoor clothing line is a cover for their more clandestine pursuits, and has earned them enough money to have bought themselves a town--called The Res. These men are warriors, battling all sorts of evildoers, and especially one very elusive one, known only to them as Zero Tango.
Troy is a lawyer, but his military service as a sniper, Night Stalker and helicopter pilot gave him plenty of skills. He's handsome, smart, sexy, and has no intention of falling in love--ever, but then Marisol Mendez comes looking for him, and all his preconceptions are about to change. Troy is suspicious because the last two women sent to the Battleson brothers by the mysterious computer whiz, Tee, ended up married to them. But Marisol has a different mission. Her sister was married and beaten to death by her criminal husband, a man with lots of underworld connections, money and power. Before her sister died, Marisol promised her that she would rescue her young niece, Lulu, from her vicious father, and she needs Troy's help to do just that.
As in the previous novels in this series, there is no shortage of danger, violence, steamy sex, and character development as these two people on a joint mission against evil can possibly generate. Danger is everywhere, and Marisol is no pushover, nor is she a shrinking violet--she's a brilliant mathematician and biochemical researcher, and a perfect foil for a strong alpha male like Troy.
So, your mission is to grab a copy of this novel, (hopefully having read the previous novels in the series first, although this can be read as a standalone), find a comfortable chair and get ready for one heck of a suspenseful, gripping, sexy and emotional read, Anna del Mar style. You won't be disappointed.
Troy & Marisol: triggers- domestic violence, assault, ICE, drugs, PTSD, depression, I think this book so far is my least favorite but I honestly don't know if it's because of the book itself or because of the narrator. Same narrator as the previous two books this one, I feel he made more mistakes that just wore on my nerves. Example- instead of PTSD, he said “BDSD” and I listened to it twice to make sure I wasn't tripping. His pronunciation of “helo” was said like “hello”. Everyone knows it's pronounced “hee-low” which is short for helicopter. The story wasn't as interesting as the others but it's still good. Once again, a female is sent to a Battleson brother in order to get “help” by “Tee”. The race is on to keep everyone safe from a previous foe while dealing with this new danger that Marisol brings to the game. It's action packed and steamy. For me, it was just missing something.
These magnificent men have each had a horrible childhood before meeting in juvie and becoming true brothers through adoption. All different, but with a strong sense of justice. The women they get set up with (courtesy of Tee) are amazing.
Books are full of action and emotion as they fight to discover who wants to destroy them. These men and women are very into one another, and the relationship between the brothers (and wives) is heartwarming.
Read the first three books in three days (missed out on some sleep), and can’t wait for Apollo’s book next (coming out in a month’ time) and then Kass and Tee’s book is supposedly the last one, but really, Trev and Rey deserve their own book and not just a byline in someone else’s book... Please?
With Troy, Anna Del Mar puts you right into the action almost from page one with car chases and gun fights in downtown Denver, helicopter battles explosions and not one but two relentless pursuers with murderous intentions are just a few of the things that will have you sitting at the edge of your seat. Troy Battleson is a man with secrets and a phobia of commitments. Marisol Mendez is a woman bent on getting justice for her dead sister and she has a few secrets of her own. Staying one step ahead of her pursuers will take a collective Battleson effort but with each step the brothers learn more about Zero Tango. Along the way Troy and Marisol burn with such passion that falling in love is a given.
This is the first time I have read anything by Anna del Mar and I really liked this series. Each book is about a different man who had a terrible childhood and ended up in child detention together where they formed a bond. They ended up being lucky and being adopted by the same amazing couple and all became brothers. All of the different brothers go into different branches of the military and become receive high positions like Navy Seal. Once they come back they create a company where they are able to sell products that they thought of while on tour but behind that company they are also a group that works to help still defend the good and our country. Each book contains a romance for each of these men who believe they are to hard to deserve love.
Troy had it rough from the time he was born until he was founded by a great group of you men. Funny how Liberty Rose manages to know exactly what they need. Kind of curious who this Tango Zero is. I will say I am glad some put an end to the Russian. She was good at improvising especially with the curling iron. After the way the Battleson brothers just threw her in the room and not bothered to check on her made me incensed. How the tf you gonna be the good guys but treat Marisol the way they did.

Wow. The "Fixer" meets the small and mighty. Troy and Marisol. This is their story. It is a standalone but so much better when read after Books 1 (Jax) and 2 (Max). Protector, Rescuer, Strong, Smart, Quick Thinking and so much more. These descriptors belong to both Troy and Marisol. I could not put the book down (maybe even more intense than the first 2 books). Bravo. I have Book 4 (Apollo) preordered and purchased more books by Anna del Mar.
This book was great just like the first two it will make you laugh and cry when reading about the heartache these two people went through to heal each others souls and the love that grows between the Alpha Hero and the girl he saved are awesome the action will keep you on the edge of your seat till the very end this series is a fantastic read can't wait for the next book to come out!
Lots of action framing a story about a brilliant but sheltered scientist filled with loss and anger. Marisol is on a mission to avenge her sister's death at the hands of her husband. Tee tells her to deliver the damning documents to Troy Battleson, the family lawyer and fixer. The usual struggle to accept that Tee has also matched them together also ensues. There's more at stake here, though, and it takes a lot of chess moves, ammunition, stealth, and smarts to win the ultimate prize.
What can I say, Troy is every woman’s dream. He’s a walking talking dreamboat. His and Marisol’s story is fantastic. It flows smoothly and is another great story in the Battleson’s fight against evil. Join them and the others on their journey to find out who wants to destroy everything they’ve built and are working for.
Madison and Troy. I really loved this book. She had an agenda. It worked out fine. I loved the characters, the plot, and the storyline. The chemistry between the two of them was super Hot🔥! This story has action, drama, suspense, love❤, romance, danger and a lot more. Read it and see how your like it.
Wow...another inventive creative love story! I enjoyed Troy and Marisol...and appreciated the two women who helped her to understand it was ok to trust.
Please read this series in order to get the most from this story.
Tee sent Marisol to Troy in order to help her being down a monster. Troy thought Tee was up to her matchmaking again and had no intention of the next Battleson brother to fall. Little did he realize how much sunshine she would bring into his life.
Marisol is a character with a wonderful sense of humor. She says to Troy “You are tall, really tall. I almost want to ask you what’s the weather like up there? LOL Every chapter is exciting but I didn’t expect the twists and turns the last half dozen chapters. A must read! 5 Stars
This is a good series. The only thing I would have liked is a female narrator to do the female parts of the book. With the audio version, you do have to pay attention to the beginning of the chapter to know the character.
Not bad Some small surprises along the story but nothing that would make you fall of your sit. I mostly enjoy this series because the females are strong minded and clever.
Alpha Heroes, Book Three, this is really another great adventure a love story that has to be worked at with a women with a very strong character but the found each other.
This book was absolutely AH-MAZING! Typically, when I cannot put a book down, I get aggravated when I have to; however, as I waited to finish this book, I just became more and more hooked! 😍😍
This series just keeps getting better and better! love the combination of love, danger, and action. I'm losing sleep because I can't put the book down... but I love it!
