Nobody knows what it’s like to be the daughter of a club bunny. But life gets much worse when Willow’s mother turns on her. Willow has no choice but to run as far as she can to escape the dark world of The Shadow Raiders.

Willow never expected that her mother would sell her out to The Shadow Raiders. But then again, her junkie mother would do anything for another hit. Willow does the only thing she can think of and runs from her hometown. Her old van made it a year out West before finally breaking down. When a rugged motorcycle man stops to help her, Willow fears for the worst. Maverick shows her that he’s a good guy and offers to help fix her van. While his club, The Devil’s Highwaymen, work to get the van running, Willow starts to fall for Maverick. But like all things in her life, nothing ever works out. So she runs again but this time, straight into the pits of hell.

Maverick never expected such a beauty to be stopped with that old van. So when she comes at him with a knife, his interest is piqued. He offers to help her but slowly starts to fall for her while the club, The Devil’s Highwaymen, fixes her old van. The dark cloud that followed Willow puts his family and club in danger and Maverick has to make some difficult choices. But when he takes the wrong step, he drives Willow away and spirals out of control. When Maverick finds out Willow is in danger, he drops everything to save the love of his life.

Will Maverick be able to save Willow in time? Can their love withstand the dark times?

I love this series. The men of the Devils Highwaymen fall fast and love hard. They maybe stubborn to admit they are in love but man when they do they will doing anything to protect their woman. Maverick faces a lot of backlash from the club when Willow comes into his life but when Willow is in danger the club has Mavericks back and support him 100%. This book is chock full of angst, club drama, love and forgiveness. A definite must read for the summer season.

**Trigger warning** heads up if this does contain a bit of violence so you were warned.

Maverick and Willow is an explosion of everything under the moon and sun. Wholly heck this book grabs your attention from the beginning and will have you on the edge of your seat with your heart pounding. If you were not wanting to cry, to bad you will be gutted so have some kleenex on hand. I love the chemistry between Maverick and Willow. She is sweet, smart, patient but tough and sassy. She grew up with the mc lifestyle but she doesn't want the one that her mom is trying to thrust upon her. What is Mavericks deal? Why is he sweet and then a d-bag? No matter Willow can handle him! So what happens when Willows past comes back into her life. Will she leave like she always do? You will love this book and fall in love with Maverick and Willow. I cannot wait for the next book in this series.

I absolutely loved this!!

I needed this book!! I’ve been so unhappy with my MC reads lately. I have found so few satisfying. I loved this one so much!! (POSSIBLE SPOILERS). I loved the immediate chemistry between Willow and Maverick. But it wasn’t insta-love. They both fought it but not for too long. I loved how his family fell in love with her and she fell in love with them. I adored Wrench and how protective he was of her. I thought Willow handled every situation SO well. Especially her recovery at the end.(the past she was running from finds her). So many times in other books the heroine will push the hero away after she’s rescued and there’s just more needless drama. Not here. She has a long recovery but she handles it with grace. And Maverick well...he almost lost her twice and he was never letting her out of his site again. He does some amazing things for her to show his love. He’s one of my favorite MC heros!!

This was a bit predictable. I did find it a bit of a mess. One minute Zach was hitting on Willow and Maverick beats the crap out of him and he was thrown out of the club. The next day they are at church and Zach is there again causing problems. Of course later on it shows that he was working for the enemy which wasn't a surprise. So far both books in this series someone from the club is helping the enemy.
It's a bit repetitive. Different characters but a close comparison to what has already happened.
On a side note I really hate how Lilah and her mother treat her brothers. They are grown ass men and they treat them like kids. The way Lilah is always slapping them and then their mom hitting them upside the head is a bit juvenile.
I know we will probably get more of an insight with what is going on with Goose but his whole attitude just didn't add up. The whole thing with Ellie seems so out of left field.

Willow O’Callaghan and her dog Orio have been running from the Shadow Riders for over a year when Silas ‘Maverick’ Crawford finds her stranded on the road near his family’s home. Willow makes quite an impression on the family and the brothers, except for maybe Goose who’s secretly going through his own special brand of woman problems and sows seeds of distrust about Willow’s secrets.

To my taste, the spine of the plot is intriguing, the characters fun and smexy times good but there are too many elements and the flow isn’t smooth, disrupting the read and affecting the read’s rating.

Book 2 in the Devils Highwaymen Mc, and this book gave me whiplash.

It has everything you want in a MC Romance, Alpha bikers, bitchy women, strong women, returning charicters that you wish were your family, so much steam you have to change your panties.

Maverick and Willow have alot of turbulence most if it rocky with patches of smooth. Their connection is hot from the very start, and is a slow burn, which ends in flames.

Awesome story, great charicters. Lila has away of making you love and hate charicters.

Maverick was so good. It took me a couple of hours to read. I love Willow and Maverick together they make a cute couple. I like how they always made up even when Maverick was being a dick. I loved meeting the new characters and hope they will get their own stories. I can’t wait for Goose’s book even though I’m still kinda mad at him. Five stars out of five stars. I’m totally in love with the characters.

What a ride we go on with these two. Its definitely a rollercoaster but the end is worth all the twists and turns. Maverick is the VP of the club and doesn't expect Willow so when she turns up it turns his world upside down. I really enjoyed these characters and their story. I'm excited to find out more about the other side characters like Bambi.

Willow is running from the evil president of the mc club her mother owes drug money to and she meets Maverick when her van breaks down in his town. He takes her and her dog in and they slowly fall.

I like how strong Willow was, she was running but she wasn’t a whiny damsel. Great chemistry and I can’t wait to read Goose’s book next.

Really enjoying the series

I liked this installment even better then the last one . The writing has muttered and there was a sense of family around the MC with all of the new additions . In this one Maverick finds a woman broke down on the side of the road . Willow is running from her past but she doesn’t trust easily . I loved getting to see what was happening to Lila and Striker’s little family and I can’t wait for Goose’s book next .

A new addiction!

Lila Grey's continues to impress me! Hard to believe this is only her second book! This series gets better as we meet more characters. I thoroughly enjoyed Lilah and Striker's love story. Your characters really draw me in and make me feel like I'm right there with them! Laugh, cry, wet my pants, sigh, and fall in love with them! Great job! Looking forward to book 3 and 4!

I said it with the last book, and I’ll say it with this one. I am not usually a romance novel reader - but this series is making me reconsider this one. I cried a lot more in this one - but it’s been an emotional year for me. This book was great and the details were perfect. I can’t wait for more!!!!!

This is a very steamy story! It made me want to scream at times and it was an emotional rollercoaster but I loved it! Willow is a strong, likeable character who get put against some impossible odds so she is on the run. She meets a man who is meant to help her. They seem to be each other's yin and yang.

Great MC series

Book 2 of The Devil’s Highwaymen. VP Maverick is alpha male and is about his club until he meets Willow broken down on the side of the road. Willow is running from another club and need of a family that she never had. This is great series with hot sex scenes and how 2 people find love in each other.

If you like MC romance this is a great one.

Sometimes people can be slow on the up take. Take Maverick for example, he almost lost the best thing that ever happened to him. He was stubborn and let his twin get inside his head. Willow had a rough life. These two came together like oil and water. They went through hell and back but got their HEA.

This book was so cute.
The hardships Maverick and Willow had to face were so difficult both within themselves and around them. I did cry a bit in this one but loved every second.

warp speed ahead!

I’ve never read an mc book that skipped any in-depth detail about anything and just went on fast forward mode to everyone being overly familiar with each other or straight into a relationship without any context. It was hard to read let alone finish.

Maverick

This is MC light but it was still a sweet read . There is violence and triggers but hey it's an MC world. The author is more relaxed than in book 1 .
