Rate this book
What would you do if you were an innocent man entangled in a dark conspiracy plot that took everything away from you…except your soul?

It was an unexpected offer, the job of a lifetime. Who wouldn't want to lead a team of computer experts on a top-secret project in the heart of Mexico?

I thought they'd forgotten about my gift my CO noticed when I was a young conscript, but destiny wouldn't let them use it. Instead of sending me to the front in Iraq, they had to send me home… but someone hadn't forgotten about me.

Ten years later… how could I know that my talent would change my destiny and strip me from my humanity…

They call themselves the “White Cells” and are hell-bent on exacting revenge on terrorists… that's why they have these secret camps where they recruit and train mercenaries to fight for their cause – the base where I am stuck too…

That job I was offered was a lure that would bring me here to this hell-on-earth place with my wife and my daughter… I've lost everything and they think they are training me for their cause, but I have my revenge to exact…

Who are the people behind the White Cells Organization, and why did they target Theo?

Follow Theo as he tries to survive the inhumane conditions of the training camp as he searches for the puzzle pieces that would help him give the solution to the greater-than-the-world conspiracy plot that landed him in a hell-on-earth camp in the Sierra Madre.

With a delicate blend of political fiction, military action, and his factual worldviews combined with a journalistic approach, author Pierre Rehov will take you on a unique journey filled with thrill and suspense.

In Beyond the Red Lines, nothing is what it seems…

If you are a political and military novel lover – then this book is a must-have for your collection. Sit back and revel in the magnificent story that will keep you glued with every turn of the page. What are you waiting for?

Born in Algeria, when it was still a French department, I was exiled to France with the rest of my family after its independence.
After studying law, I devoted myself to journalism, mainly in the field of cinema, which was and remains one of my passions.
During my conscript time, I was hired by a French publishing house to write the memoirs of actress Romy Schneider, and went on to write an essay on cinema, which led me to organise several festivals on this theme before becoming a film distributor and then a producer.

In 1983, I moved to Hollywood, where I participated in the production of an action film directed by Simon Nuchtern: "Savage Dawn". Back to France, I became a full-time ghost writer. Between 1986 and 1991, I collaborated in the writing of more than twenty novels and essays.

I returned to journalism in 1992 and in 18 years I made nearly 20 documentaries in conflict zones, mainly in the Middle East, while publishing articles in many newspapers, including Le Figaro and the Jerusalem Post.
This exciting experience allowed me to get back to writing novels. "Beyond Red Lines", my first book published in English, reflects my knowledge of terrorist and secret service circles.
I now divide my life between New York, Paris and Tel Aviv, which has become my main residence.

This is an awesome book. A book full of adventure, twists and turns. It keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout.
I literally couldn't put it down.

The author has an excellent command of the English language proven through his writing skills and ability to write an on the edge of your seat story.

The story is based around a computer expert who thinks he has gained a huge promotion. But the organisation is very mysterious. His wife and child are removed from him and this is when he descends into hell. The organisation thinks they can defeat international terrorism with his own army.

The rest your going to have to read for yourself.

It's seriously a great book.

Beyond Red Lines is a thriller out of the ordinary. It's the story of an anti-hero, caught against his sandstone in the mesh of a dead-end net. Theo Collin had the misfortune to be discovered for his unique talent during his military service. A few years later, he is offered an exceptional promotion within a mysterious organization. Thinking he was hired for his computer skills and organizational skills, he sets off on an adventure with his wife and ten-year-old daughter. His descent into hell will begin when he comes into contact with the Mexican mafia and is then dragged against his will into a case of paramilitary training. His wife and daughter are taken from him while in New York, the head of the organization believes he can wipe out international terrorism with his army created to strike back blow for blow.

Jam-packed with thrilling adventures, unexpected twists and suspense, Theo’s story will have you hooked from the very beginning. The author has a strong command of language and excellent writing skills which is evident from the gripping narration and impressive vocabulary. Regularly switching the perspectives in each chapter, it adds to the intrigue and helps readers connect with the various fascinating characters in the book. A wronged man who is forced to undergo rigorous military training, a fierce military captain with dubious intentions and numerous mercenaries separated from their families against their will, this book has it all. This tale of military action and political intrigue explores several elements including terrorist threats, secret military camps, revenge, betrayal and dangerous missions. It also does not neglect themes of romantic and familial love as well as Theo’s relationship and heartbreaking loss of his wife and daughter is also masterfully written. Apart from that, fans of action-packed thrillers by authors such as Tom Clancy and Robert Ludlum will especially revel in this novel involving the secret services and plenty of military knowledge.

All in all, Pierre Rehov has created a highly engaging book of exhilarating action, conspiracies and a well-developed plot. I give this novel five out of fiver stars and I definitely recommend it to others.

Pierre Rehov created a thrilling and phycological story full of intrigue, mystery and drama. I really liked it! It was my first time reading one of his books and I must say that I am truly amazed with BEYOND RED LINES. Pierre’s writing is lyrical and complex and will leave you astonished with the darkness of some moments and you will see that the human being won’t take chances when it comes to survival.
Theo is without a doubt my favourite character, because he won’t give up, he keeps always fighting even when things are dark. It all started when he his hired for a mysterious organisation that he doesn’t know much about. However, he quickly finds out that the company doesn’t have good intentions. Theo keeps feeling that he’s not in control of his life, but is he a puppet in someone’s plans? He finds himself in the middle of a terrorist war and conspiracies and he must do everything to save the lives of his wife and daughter.
Pierre takes the reader into a 100% suspense mood and you never know what is going to happen in the next page. Don’t expect this book to be a simple thriller, because you will find so many different topics: love, family and exploitation. You can expect a roller coaster of emotions. It is well paced and masterly written. Believe me when I tell you that it is addictive, I couldn’t stop reading it.
