Kazimir's obsession for the curvy veterinarian student will be his undoing. Alegra's addiction for the dangerous Bratva boss will be her destruction. They make zero sense to most, but a love story like theirs rarely makes any sense at all. Darkness comes in many shapes, sizes, and colors. And mine came in a tailored suit with a thick Russian accent. I’m captive at the hands of a notorious man who’s a part of the Russian Bratva. My father owes them. And the only payment he can afford? Is me. So here I am, staring into the cold eyes of the enemy. Naively believing his every word. Stupidly falling for his seductive touch. He’s become my addiction. There’s no other way to explain it. But when the truth comes to light, I realize people don’t change. Darkness, while it changes forms. Never has good intentions. *Please note that Bratva Addiction ends on a cliffhanger and is book one of The Bratva Debt Duet. The story concludes in book two, Bratva Redemption. One-click and enjoy this sizzling enemies-to-lovers, Russian Mafia Romance
A 21-year old veterinary student gets kidnapped by a Russian gangster who developed an obsession with her after loaning money to her dad, to basically pay off the dad's debt. She's a hot virgin apparently, as well. I thought the book was an okay read even though the premise isn't very original. It was a short hot read and ends on a cliffhanger, but the conclusion is also available so I'm reading that one now.
Enjoyed! This was my first experience from this author. The storyline was good and I love the two main characters. I can't wait to find out what happens next.
Ummmmmm. So it’s been a while since I’ve read a mafia romance. Granted, a lot of the mafia romances I read were on Episode and not as graphic as these adult novels.
It’s the typical mafia storyline of a girl, we also have to make sure she’s a virgin 🙄, who’s father owes a debt to a mafia leader and guess who pays the price? The girl, or Allegra in this book. I only picked up this book bec it has a Black female protagonists.
I like Allegra as a character, she’s very aware of her surroundings. Ofc this is a romance book so ofc she falls for her captor, very Stockholm syndrome. At the very least we see her questioning herself and constantly thinking that it’s weird for her to be falling for her captor.
Speaking of, Kazimir is 😐😐😐. He doesn’t make sense to me. He stalks Alegra for a whole year, then abuses Allegra’s situation to force her to live with him. He fools himself that he likes, no wait LOVES, Alegra. BUT I DIDNT BELIEVE IT.
He’s so confused on why Alegra initially wants nothing to do with him. He constantly says rubbish like “I honestly did not expect her to fight me so much. I obviously can give her whatever she wants, anything she dreams of: money, sex, adoration, and it’s still not enough?” Like BOY IF DONT GET OUT OF HERE.
I also think Alegra fell too fast for Kazimir. I honestly liked the book better when she hated him.
Anyways yup. That’s it. Three stars bec it ends on a cliff hanger and now I have to read the second book to find out what happens.
He has waited and watched for a year......now he will have her
Bratva Addiction is the first book in the Bratva Debt Duet and ends with a cliffhanger, so you will need to read the next book in this duet. The story is about about Alegra and Kazimir (Kaz). They are opposites as he is the powerful and tough boss of the Bratva and she is going to school to be a veterinarian and working at her father's vet clinic. But Kaz has watched Alegra for a year now (not stalkerish at all right??? insert eye roll her please) and wanted her. He has waited for the right situation and finally it has come about because of her father having a debt that he cannot pay. Kaz will wipe the debt out if he can have Alegra. What is a girl to do when her father's life is hanging in the balance. This story is nicely written with some twists added to the normal story-line. The characters are interesting and kept my attention, especially as Kaz changes, unintentionally, to be with Alegra. But secrets come out and a cliffhanger is the ending.
I received an ARC of this book from the author for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
WOW this is a delightful story! One that you will definitely enjoy. There is so much excitement with these awesome characters, they have such great chemistry. It's full of excitement and very passionate which will have you on the edge of your seat with their drama element, There's suspense that will fuel your romance. Plus all of the characters are so captivating and the family is so amazing and their relationship is magnificent. The storyline is great with it's mafia vibe and when you add in their family drama, along with their emotions their love and the intriguing twists they go through you have a tale that's a awesome read that's truly delightful." Plus the gang characters are amazing with some violence that just worked so well together that I couldn't help but enjoyed their story I enjoyed the time spent on building Rocco and Ryah's relationship because it's great. WOW even with the cliffhanger it's still a awesome mafia romance which l greatly enjoyed and I'm excited about the continuing the story.
Very immature. Insta love stupidness. Characters had no depth. They could have been anybody. Man snatches girl he has been stalking for a year because her father can pay the money he owes back. Young woman who has been so dedicated to school and her father just falls for guy and does not want to talk to her father when given a chance...so unrealistic. And the deflowering...you know what I mean...she was so "ready" she orgasims on first entry. Really. And this was after being with the guy for less than a week. She says this during the first time, “I want you to really f@#$ me, Kazimir. Don’t take it easy because you think I’m fragile.” Could have been so much better. One minute she is on the verge of tears the next she is slapping her captors. Just not real. Such a B flick.
I was looking for a new book to read and ran across Coco Miller. I read the different reviews because yes I'm always doing that. I'm glad that I gave this book a chance because it didn't disappoint me. I loved the plot, the characters, the romance and yesss the smuttness lol. I know she was sad about what she found out but what did she expect to happen? What would she had done in that situation? Oh well, off to find out what happens in book two.
In Bratva Addiction Coco Miller gives readers an enjoyable and slightly OTT obsessive love story. Allegra came to Kazimir’s attention solely because her father owed his family a large sum of money. For the past year, Kazimir has watched Allegra and fallen deeper and deeper in love. When it becomes obvious that her father will never be able to repay his debt, Kazimir suggests that Allegra marry him in lieu of the money. Allegra is horrified when she learns of her father’s transgressions, she is even more upset when she becomes a part of the solution. And while Allegra is attracted to Kazimir she is adamant that she will never submit to being anything more to him than an unwilling pawn in her father’s mistakes! This very engaging story ends on a cliffhanger, and I can’t wait to see how the story unfolds.
Good storyline but it seems as if this author is new to writing. This book needs serious editing.
It’s as if the story in the author’s mind is way ahead of what’s been written. There are sections where, for example, the FMC is lying in bed then next sentence she’s suddenly slamming the bathroom door and we’re not told how she got there. Or the MMC is kicking ‘it’ shut but we’re not told what ‘it’ is.
It’s as if the author is in a rush. It’s a shame as the storyline works, just amateurish in its delivery which a good editor could have helped fixed.
This series is intense and delicious. It has umpredictable twists that leave you raw with emotions and nerve wracking tension that keeps increasing as the story unfolds. I am captivated by Alegra and Kazimir. The gripping story quickly captivates and pulls into the story. Be prepared for the cliffhanger and the wait for the next book in this exciting series."

A gripping read of suspense, twists, excitement, angst, humour, witty banter, drama, and so much more! It is an on the edge of your seat riveting read that hooked me from the first page. First read by this author, and I will definetely read more. Always thought that the Bratva were violent and ruthless, but Kazimir is sweet and caring. Alegra was dealt a real raw deal, having to take the fall for her father; but she is stronger than she seems. What a revelation for both Vlad and Alegra! I have a bad feeling that we are going to see the ruthless side of Kazimir, as he looks for Alegra. Ready to dive into book 2. Great read!
Well defined characters, really good plot but the female love interest is young and going through the usual challenge when emotions are on the table and that is complicated since she doesn't understand what Bratva is, though what she has experienced should give her a good idea. My interest is in reading the unfolding of the plot. The author really did a good job setting up the story. The Bratva characters are interesting and should keep book 2 engaging...
Alegra is taken against her will from her father's business in place of a debt owed for payment. Alegra now belongs to Kazimir son of the Bratva boss. Just as Alegra starts to warm up to Kazimir's attentions it all falls apart. This is part one, there is more to come.

Alegra’s father owes the Bratva a lot of money and Kaz offers him a deal, he wants Alegra instead of the money. Sparks begin to fly between them but when Alegra learns some of Kaz’s secrets, she runs. Will they find their way back to each other? Fast-paced steamy read with plenty of drama and emotion. I really liked it.
Bratva Addiction!" I really enjoyed this short but steamy story. Kazimir had watched and wanted Allegra for a year, stalkerishly. Allegra didn't have a clue, wrapped up in her father's veterinary clinic and going to veterinary school. When her father's unpaid debt to Kazimir's Bratva boss father needs collecting, he will erase the debt...in exchange for Allegra!
Why can't the female charts meet these men under better circumstances? Algebra was studying to become a veterinarian, why couldn't she meet Kashmir when he brought his dog to the clinic? She was taken as payment, the she develops some attraction to her captor.
I also could barely get through the typos. 3 stars for the effort
A good read. I am anxious to read the Bratva Redemption that comes out in May. This story has a bit of comedy in it (the heroine's thoughts). I wish it was not so short and that there was more to the storyline in regards to what she finds out at the end. Anyway, onward to the sequel.
Bratva Addiction: Russian Mafia Romance (Bratva Debt Duet Book 1)
Pretty good read for a duet book from author Coco Miller. I like the story line written in the first person. I will read the second book titled Bratva Redemption Book 2 next.
I love cultures coming together to find that we are not so different as some want to believe. In this book, for me, I magine the adventure of learning of how much we have in common and that it shows how with effort, interest, a great fear could be turned into a great love one could not have imagine. I want to read more in book 2.
This book was awful!!! I tried but it was just ridiculous, predictable and corny…. I wanted to enjoy this book because it is so rare that stories are told that highlight “black” women physical attributes. Very disappointing
Interesting read! So much drama with the Bratva heir, Kazimir and his kidnapped lady love, Alegra. What's next for this budding couple. How do they move forward from this bombshell?
The daughter of a veterinarian is given to the Bratva because her father can’t pay his debts. What starts off okay between the two takes a twisted turn and leaves you with more answers and a continuation for the next book other than that a good quick read
This was good. The prose was well done and I liked the story. Alegra was just the right amount of sassy. The plot moved fast and Kazimir was well done. My only complaint was the clues came together a little too neatly at the end.
It was somewhat immature for my taste. How she went from never have kissed a man to doing that was a difficult thing for me to accept. Maybe it happens and I'm too ignorant but still I like it when it develops slowly, the transformation, if any.
Sooo good! I just felt like reading about a sexy russian, and this book was perfect lol.The storyline is really good and the steamy parts are really really good. Can't wait to read part 2.
Good book Alegra is a reactor she reacts without thinking where as Kasmir is a thinker he thinks everything through. She ran away now Kasmir will hsve to go find her I can’t wait for book 2
