True Love From A Cold Beast
The Kingas men have hit the town and they are nothing to play with! We meet eldest brother, Shamir ‘Hazard’ Kingas. He’s the undisputed king of New York with his hands in everything. His only focus is his money after losing love in such a tragic way when he couldn’t do anything about it. Just as he believes the past is the past, an old enemy comes back to finish what they started and in pursuit of that enemy, he literally bumps into the beautiful, Celine Munroe. She’s the key he didn’t even know he needed but once he gets what he wants, he believes that he will never lay eyes on her again. But he finds that to be far from the truth when she keeps popping up. Khamel ‘Beast’ Kingas has just been released from jail after spending 5 years inside. He comes out promising not the touch the same thing that caused him to be locked up. Beast is confident that he’s got it until he sets eyes on his first job - the alluring Lexus. Seeing her beauty causes him to freeze and in doing so, Lexus escapes. He vows to find her but later finds out that he didn’t have to look too far. Now with her in his grasp, Beast goes against his new found principles and decides to find out who wants her dead before doing the job. Along the way, feelings he never wanted to have again after an ex’s betrayal, come hurdling out but he tells himself that she’s nothing more than a job and runs from his feelings. It has him wondering if he should have just killed her to avoid it all. But can he really walk away? And lastly, we meet Trust ‘Barricade’ Kingas - the youngest. He’s the hitta and not only does he kill it in the streets but he’s killing it with the ladies with his foul mouth and cold like tendencies. But despite him hopping from woman to woman, he does want love. Barricade wants a woman that will stimulate him more than in a sexual way and one that will catch his attention and keep it. He just wasn’t expecting Passion Matthews to be that woman - the chick that robbed him! She comes crashing into his life and leaves with his money and jewelry setting off the beast in him that’s determined to find her and make her pay. Knowing that Barricade will undoubtedly kill her the next time they meet, Passion runs from the city but sadly, she runs right into Barricade. There is a connection between them and Barricade can’t deny that Passion stole more than his possessions that night. Sparks fly and soon nothing except love is between them, however, not everyone is happy with their union. And is Passion really over her past life of robbing men? A life that Barricade decides to take her away from. When these women cross paths with the Kingas men they were not expecting to find a True Love From A Cold Beast.

Oh wow
This book was definitely a page turner . Like my jaw DROPPED multiple times . 😭 I will say that I am tired of Kelly Marie describing the same type of woman . Every book I’ve read from her the heroine(s) has/have been “peanut butter,” “toffee,” “slim thick,” or something along those lines . I think it’s important for the author to realize that there are all different types of women in the world : light women , dark women , skinny women , big women, etc.
But other than that , I’ve truly enjoyed her books .

Omg, this book had me all over the place. The Kingas men knew how to deny their feelings. Who knew that coldhearted Harzard could be so gentle and loving? That ending has me rushing to download pt2.

Fantastic!
First let me say, everyone needs a Big momma! Whenever BM is in a scene she steals the show.Now this family of men are real with the game but man, they suck when it comes to relationships. I love the each land a woman in the end is not only going to balance them but save them as well. I love the easy pace, the writer is not making you work at this story it just come effortlessly. This was all that and some ,can't begin to tell you how good it was without giving it away. Take a moment to chose this as your next read or one for the book club.

Man, this was so lame and it was a wrap for sure!!!
I didn't want to start this series until I saw both books were out but after reading this 1st book, forget about reading the 2nd one because I am not doing it. It was truly not what I expected and thought it was going to be. This was worst than what I could have imagine and all. The guys in this first book were perfect and probably a little bit too softy but the girls, baby where do they cam from. They were truly the worst I have yet to read of so far in any series.
Shamir "hazard" supposed to be the oldest, the alpha, the top dog and although he was that, he still came off a little bit too blah. Nothing was exciting with him and he is the one holding the bag, but he acts so stingy. He was not romantic or fun to be with and not even driven.
Celine, man she was bad. I mean, confused, annoying, misguided but nevertheless, boring, and just plain. Nothing was good with her and she was so wrong on everything that she was doing. So what with T, but you want to show loyalty until you hear stuff that he was doing and you want to come back, say I am sorry and all is well. Man get off this ride.
Khamel "beast" was my fav until the end when he just became extra and annoying. So what if it's Renzo or LJ's chick? What's in it for you? He is not even around and you are letting this affect you, why? I call stupid...
Lexus IS probably the sanest one in this group, well at least in book 1 and that's saying a lot.
Trust "barricade" is also my fav and I love how he has opened up to Passion but we all know how something is gonna go off and he will be changing, specially if her momma is going to go to him again. Well I do hope he does her like he did the last time... This was good; bae for sure...
Passion, is right up there with Celine and running neck by neck with each other, doing the most stupidest thing possible and then turn around and say "I didn't know".
Now for some independent, educated woman, they truly need helped and I do not like reading about them degrading themselves as such. So I am good on this and this story for now.

The Kingas Brothers aren't into falling in love. They're all about their paper and minding their businesses. The fear of falling in love when you've been betrayed or had someone you loved dearly snatched away will keep you at a distance from love. And then they came along. Will these men allow themselves to take a chance on love or will they keep their distance? Will love prove them right that it comes with pain and betrayal? Only way to find out you'll have to head over and check it out.
From beginning to end this read held my attention. There wasn't a dull moment. Just when you thought all is well, one thing after another pops off that you couldn't predict. I think the author mastered the twists very well that kept the reader from being able to predict too much. The end definitely was one of those you didn't see coming.

Celine loves Big T, Passion is grimy and Lexus Is cool. The Kingas brothers are truly a different breed, Beast, Hazard and Barricade are their street names and if you don’t know you will. When these ladies encounter these brothers their lives will change and vice versa. Celine will find something’s out about a man she though she loved did not deserve it. Passion will try and do something she’s never even thought about and that’s love. Lexus IS just wanting to do right but her little brother may have her caught up in some shid....when Celine finally finds love it will be snatched away like a thief in the night, passion will find out who really loves her and Lexus IS still cool. Part 2 is going to be a scorcher!

Great Read
This book was so good from beginning to end and what a ending. Enjoyed the storyline and these characters and it flowed so smoothly. Held my attention and I couldn't put it down. Full of action, drama, lies, secrets with some twist and turns made it an interesting read. Also, just enough humor to balance everything out. So many unanswered questions that I can't wait for the next installment. So loving the brothers with the girls and hope they can get it all together. After that ending, I can't wait to see how it all unfolds. Great job Kelly Marie.

I hope Hazard don't end up in a coma again from being shot by Gutta and that he won't blame Celine thinking that she was still trying to avenge Big T. I hope Passion don't get raped by the dude that her momma tried to set up Barricade with. Barricade going to reign down on Passion's mom when he finds out everything and catch up with her. I can't believe that Lexus's LJ is the same Renzo that set Beast up to do five years in prison. I think that ALL three of the girls, Passion, Lexus, && Celine, are pregnant. You did it once again
It took me until part 2 came out to start this one. I am so glad I did because this one right here was sooo good. I laughed so hard at Celine trying her best to kill Hazard. Big Momma is something else, trying to get her groove on with the Deacon. Overall the story was great. You do something different every single series you do. And I love how you will give us a small detail in the beginning and then later it becomes something really big that we forgot about. Passion and Trust were made for each other.

Damn!!!!
That cliffhanger was too much!!! Lord I pray that Hazard makes it!!! I mean the way that him and Cline met was crazy but it’s no denying the lobe that they have for each other. I hope Passion gets out of whatever her mom just put her in and her and Trust can work it out!! That Damn Beast is a whole different problem!!! Over all this is a good series and I’m looking forward to part 2!!!!!

Not bad
The book started off slow for me, I just couldn't get into it at first. It finally picked up after a while and i really started to like the characters more. I think Passion made a big mistake not trusting Barricade with the truth now she about to be violated because of her hateful mother. Beast gonna run Lexus away being stupid. I hope Hazard is ok but is he going to forgive Celine after he find out the truth.

WTH
Unfortunately, I could not finish this book. I was halfway through when Celine started doing drugs and attempted the heavier drugs. That was just a turn off. That was very depressing and hard to watch her fall so low. I prefer to read books for that are not so depressing. Therefore, I’m sure she gets herself back together but I just wasn’t interested in watching her fall so low. I just stopped reading.

They’re all crazy
These brothers are something else. Hitta’s. Bosses, and heartless. But you can’t run from love but for so long. Once it gets them their changing their movements, routines, mantras and life for it.
The women are just right for these men even though the way they all met is wild. All the women have trauma in some way or another but the men are still attracted to them.
Let’s see if all of the drama can give an HEA

Amazing
This book was really good it was freaking amazing! It had me going from page after page after page. I could not put this book down I am so glad that I read it, It was in my library last year and I finally got a chance to read it, an baby when I say I was pissed at the cliffhangers I was pissed! The women In particular Passion and Celine mades some dumb ass decisions I just hope everyone gets there have happily ever after

What is Beast gonna do with that discovery? Passion should have fessed up to Barricade. I am shaking my head at Celine as she got me troubled over Hazard. Expedite part 2 please!!!!!

Childish
The book was an OK read. A lot of parents were to damn unrealistic and childish. Like really 75 year old grandma was doing to waay to much i mean if she was just a shit talker that would be ok but the sex stuff nah. Then the way the guys were acting on vacation with the girls was to childish. I will definitely be reading book to but I just hope it's more believable.

Ughhh
An immediate turn off to me is addressing the audience “excuse me let me introduce myself” I can always judge an authors skill level by the way they introduce and describe the character initially. Work on incorporating introduction descriptions and not addressing the audience in your next book. That will be growth!

I really liked this book I like the character so far but that Celine I just can’t get with her I don’t understand why she has to be like this yes I know what she’s been through but dang you fell in love with a fraud. Passion should have just told trust. Now beast about to go back on a rampage because of Lexus

Good read
Started a little slow for me. I couldn’t keep the brothers in order. The friendship between the women never felt genuine to me. It always felt like the author threw them together for the sake of the plot of the book. Drama did start happening in the end. Great cliffhanger! Can’t wait to read the next book.

Ugh.I'm not sure if I will be reading the next book...The story was all over and an most of The guys had a-hole moments throughout this book...The ladies a bit all over although I loved the friendship it was missing something and the best part was Bigmama... Uhhmmmm I had such high hopes for this book but it just didn't do it.

The drama
There is so much going on in this book. Each person is definitely fighting their own demons. Poor Passion. Yes what she does is wrong but her mother is the root. I don’t know what she got her into now but I hope Barricade gets her and forgives her lying. Hazard needs to make it for Celine and the baby. Beast and Lexus are a mess but good together.

Awesome read! Three best friends living different lives and three brothers meet them and it crazy bc of how. Hazard gotta watch his back bc Celine either is jumping him or trying to kill him and that funny to me bc she’ll jump outta nowhere on his a$$! Lol Beast and Barricade got their work cut out for them too! I’m loving it!

A very good read
I loved everything about this book
Big Mama was my favorite though.
I loved her humor and free spirit.
All the action, drama and steamy sex scenes got me stalking Amazon for book 2.
