*****Eyes Glued to the pages*****
Rebecca's poetic prose always keeps me coming back to read her books no questions asked. A bit of irony there. ;-)
Rebecca's words are poetic! :-) She has a flare with her writing, and this novella is no exception!

Sheriff Dove Connolley is on the hunt for the person or persons who killed his best friend. Dove hopes he can catch the killer(s) before they hurt someone else. This story leaves you turning pages, and finding twists everywhere you turn. The people you think you know, those you don't, every one is hiding something, and it's Dove that finally puts all the puzzle pieces together, but is it too late for Dove's wife and their baby?

Keep writing Rebecca, I'll keep reading. <3

Sheriff Dove Connelly just can't grasp the busy girl his wife Cherie gave birth to. The girl doesn't look like either one of them--she has blue eyes, nothing like Dove's dark ones. Then there is the murder of his close friend Fritz. Was it a robbery gone bad, or did it have something to do with Fritz's 'less than legal' ways of making money? What is up with Sheriff Will Savick? He isn't exactly 'regulation' in the way he dresses or does business. Coralis Sheriff Deputy Mike McCall doesn't care for Savick, and he is his boss. Can Dove find the killer of his friend? An ending I didn't see coming. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
