Creator of The Chase Fulton Novels series and The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins Series, Cap Daniels is a former sailing charter captain, scuba and sailing instructor, pilot, Air Force veteran, and civil servant of the U.S. Department of Defense. Raised far from the ocean in rural East Tennessee, his early infatuation with salt water was sparked by the fascinating, and sometimes true, sea stories told by his father, a retired Navy chief petty officer. Those stories of adventure on the high seas sent Cap in search of adventure of his own, which eventually landed him on Florida’s Gulf Coast where he and his wife Melissa spend as much time as possible on, in, and under the waters of the Emerald Coast.
With a headful of larger-than-life characters and their thrilling exploits, Cap pours his love of adventure and passion for the ocean onto the pages of his action adventure series, The Chase Fulton Novels and his new series Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins.
Inspired by the likes of John D. Macdonald’s Travis McGee, Randy Wayne White’s Doc Ford, and Wayne Stinnett’s Jesse McDermitt, Cap creates thrilling tales of action and adventure set throughout the Caribbean and coastal Florida and Georgia by intertwining nautical adventure with international espionage. Cap’s Chase Fulton Novels series promises to keep readers on the edge of their seats, trying to guess what new danger or adventure lies just around the corner.
The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins series is a spin-off starring the most controversial and intriguing character from the Chase Fulton Novels. After defecting to the United States, Anastasia "Anya" Burinkova, a former Russian SVR assassin and intelligence operative puts her lethal skill set into action against the powerful Russian Mafia. In this gritty, organized-crime thriller series, Cap Daniels takes his readers into the dark underworld of the Russian Mafia weaving actual events into fiction to leave the reader's heart pounding and their fingers itching to turn the page.

Cap does a wonderful job of keeping the storyline all the while keeping you on the date of your seat with the twist and turns! Awesome series ! I recommend this book for those who love great action stories! I chose this rating because the books kept me engaged and curious with every turn of the page.
I'm the thriller genre, coming up with a hero is relatively easy: a young, strong, handsome guy who wins all the fights and kills all the bad guys. Oh, maybe he gets hurt from.time to time, but he's soon recovered and back at it. That's easy.
But that's just part of it. To be worth investing in.over time, that same hero needs to be molded into a three dimensional creation. And Daniels' Chase Fuller fills the bill. This particular set of the first three books is a great introduction to him. He goes from being the MVP of the college baseball world series to a recruit for a secretive "partners with the US, doing dirty deeds" organization (it's a trope, let's face it), to a wealthy man for killing a particularly egregious assassin, to a love affair with an apparent defector from. The SVR, to target and more over the course of the three volumes.
More importantly, since it's written in the first person, we are inside his head and get some sense of what ping pongs around in there. She is beautiful/she's an agent/she seems sincere/she's deadly/she's beautiful/she might be setting him up...and so on. In other words, it isn't all kills and thrills.
There are two other sticking points for heroes in action thrillers that Mr. Daniels has handled well: recapping the backstory as the next book appears, and the cliffhanger ending. If I had a quibble, it would be that he gave Fuller's time in training short shrift - especially since he brings back characters from the first book in the third. One other: he appears uncomfortable actually saying his character had sex. It's always euphemisms and metaphors.
It will be interesting to see if at so.e.point the enemy is other than Russia. Given that these took place earlier in this century, I'm expecting that in later books.
Cap Daniels does a good job writing this series. Readers of the original Clancy novels may not like the lack of some detail, but if you’re reading the newer Clancy novels…you will like Cap Daniels.
As a reader of this genre, some of it is predictable. However, Cap Daniels knows when to put a twist into the scene and keep you turning the pages. All-in-all, it’s a great read for those of us who love reading. I’m enjoying the cast of characters.
Sorry for the cliché title but this book is absolutely unputdownable. I received the first 3 stories in a box set and now I am hooked on the series. Masterfully woven tales linked to keep the reader turning pages. The main characters are complex, making the story compelling with twists and turns that delight. Definitely five stars. And Daniels' knowledge of boating and diving from the Keys to the Chesapeake with occasional visits to Cuba and the Bahamas shine through, adding to the authenticity of the fiction.
This is a fun series of retro-style quasi-CIA adventures. The challenges and adventures are inventive, and I really enjoyed the sailing (though I prefer a sloop to a catamaran!). Unfortunately, the retro aspects annoyed me more than the exciting parts engaged me. Plus there is a long secondary thread that was becoming annoying.
If you like special-skilled agents with access to tech and secretive contacts, intent on stopping the bad guys, this is for you. Even better if you don't like swearing or on-page sex.
Reread, it’s incredible. How much you missed the first time
Looking back on Daniel’s books which I have read in their entirety, I ended up marrying a girl from the eastern block who encapsulates so many of Anna’s qualities Had no idea God was getting ready for a massive change in my life hundred percent for the best but I see it now and I’ve started calling my wife Anna, but as much as I think it’s funny !! prolific writer, amazing camaraderie between the characters he builds could not love the series anymore
Liked it so much I ordered the rest of of the series after book #2. It's a can't miss way to get my mind off fasting... I started a fast and the first book at the same time. I found the book's main characters, believable and interesting, I enjoyed the information that I got from some of the description of the seacraft and the towns. They story line made me think about going to those places. All in all I've now have finished 3, looking forward to the rest of the series.
Interesting series. It's enjoyable but one part doesn't ring true. Of all the spy or covert ops books I've read, none of them send their operatives out in the field until they're fully trained. This guy couldn't win a fight hand-to-hand until Clark came along . And good thing too. I guess so far as storyline goes, that point is needed. Other than all the romance stuff, it's enjoyable!
I am reading cap Daniels first time. Cap Daniels I found is a good story teller. Chase Fulton a good baseball player turned a contract assassin. The story virtually starts when Chase Fulton was asked to accompany to a horse race to observe and he sees a lady sniper from distance who makes a strong impression on his mind. Well maintained suspense driving the reader not to stop...
I enjoyed the three books. The action moved fast. Descriptions were enough to let the reader "see", but didn't overwhelm the story. It had the flavor of a bio. I could have done with less killing. I appreciated that Chase was a gentleman and he wasn't perfect. I've never sailed but it certainly sounds appealing. There was a bit of repition. Overall, they were good.
Okay, finally a trip of Good stories by a pretty decent author. problem is he makes u but the Damon sequels! Who ever heard of that - only good ones sucked u in for and more. Do I recommend - guess!
Daniels calls on much of his real life experience in developing bigger than life characters in realistic entertaining scenes with lots of good guys and pure evil ones to boot!
Amazing characters you'll come to love. Espionage, action, thrills, gun, knife & hand-to-hand fights throughout. Assassins both those fighting to keep the free world free and those killing them to keep them from succeeding.
Almost James Bond-ish, the hero lives to fight another day! Problem is not all characters get resolved by book's end, so you hope the next one will bring resolution. Good action.
I like these stories a lot but, if I’m going to be honest, they really are just one book chopped into chunks. I think I would prefer that they we one huge tome but ,having said that, this is a series well worth reading.
These are the beginning 3 books of a great series. Chase and his little band of adventurous followers make great reading. They are hard to put down !!!!!! You will e njoy the book series
I'm hooked! The author grabs your attention. early in Book 1 and keeps it. Honestly, didn't see several twists coming. As I said, I'm hooked. I have to read more.
These three books were so intriguing that I want to keep reading the further adventures of Chase Fulton!!! I learned a lot about boats, planes and black ops training!!!
