This episode of Kat/Red’s saga finds her trying to reconcile her dreams and the pieces of memories as she tries to reclaim her past. Additionally, she has to extricate herself from her physical circumstance that include the aftermath of the tower collapse and the Inquisitors and their questions. Once again, My Cronshaw has crafted a tale that moves this series along in a way that keeps the reader hooked on Kat’s journey.

Quite a bit falls into place in this episode. The card signified that things are about to get heavy, and that is exactly what this episode is about. I am still clueless as to what side of the war should be victorious. This author has truly done and outstanding job weaving this tale! All my reviews are always voluntarily written.

I'm going through these WAY too fast. The story is that enthralling. Great characters from the start. At the beginning, you think of Kat as a spoiled little rich girl. But by now, you see she has many facets to her character, and is getting stronger and stronger. Things are heating up, and I know the climax is coming soon (come on book 21, get done before I get to you)
