An incredible eight book set that's about the Thompson family of three boys and one girl. Trent, Mason and Kevin are all gorgeous but not close at all. They all love their sister Emily but treat her as their step to person and try to keep her under their control. It's so sad the way they treat her especially since she was always so nice and helpful to them. In the various books which include Winning Her, Claiming Her, Protecting Her, Dark Desires, Dark Rules, etc. we follow the lives of the boys and the women they fall in love with and how their lives change as they have children. We watch Emily as she out grows her innocence. The Father has built a hotel empire and is rich beyond words but his family life leaves a lot to be desired. He pitted his sons against each other and as a result they are not close. This book shows how he brings them back together in the business and how they learn to really become a family. No shortage of drama, twists, passion, chemistry or emotions. Well written and a page turner. The books build on each other as they bring different family members into the story. A great read that you will enjoy. I read an arc via Bad Boy Update and voluntarily chose to review.

Captivating, dangerous, dark, twisted, intriguing, chilling yet oh so beautiful. All Emily wanted, was to be seen, not be used and abused by her brothers, so she did something risky and daring, for herself, with the help of her friend Roxie, who put her on the path to self discovery.
Emily had this one desire, to have her ultimate fantasy fulfilled, to be pleasured, to be taken in any way possible, her wants and needs taken beyond heightened passion, fulfilling this dark, powerful erotic sensual need inside of her and Dylan gave her all of that an more.
The way she threw caution to the wind, her submissive nature compelling her to take a daring chance with a stranger, going out of her comfort zone, the way she responded to his dominant side, fulfilling her carnal needs and desires along with his own. The themes were dark, the kink and BDSM alone was such an instant turn on. So controlling, so dominating, so possessive.
Dylan showed Emily that there was much more, no matter what either wanted, together they explored each other’s pleasures, going beyond more than what they both could have possibly imagined. There relationship was electric, there desire white hot, there love for one other burning from the inside out.
The secrets, the lies, the twists, the turns lead to the inevitable, the truth. There story was raw and sensual, as it was powerful and confronting. There love for each other heartbreakingly beautiful. It was fast paced and thrilling, it made my heart race and soar to unfathomable heights. The need to see there growing attraction, the lust and fear, to own and dominate, retaliate, to take control, god it was hot.
If I could have read it in one sitting I would have. I had no choice but to savour it, and it was worth it. Since I picked this story up I could not put this book down, I was hooked from the very first chapter right up until the last. I loved the different points of view, it told a telling story, especially the complex family dynamics between Emily and her brothers. The author knows how to write, to ensnare her readers to ensure they’ll come back for more.
And those steamy love scenes in and out of the bedroom were oh so steamy, deliciously wicked, dirty, hot, beautiful, dark, sensually erotic, naughty, raw, powerful, passionate, wet, dominating and wild, and there happily every after was heartbreakingly beautiful.
And… it was nice to see the author taking the time to explore the intricate family dynamics of Trent, Mason and Kevin, there relationship with each other and there sister Emily, and more importantly what makes them unique unto themselves.

Damn in a more than one way, good and not as good. I enjoyed the first two books the most. A lot of steamy parts, I found myself returning to read more and more. A nice balance between story and sexy parts, that is until you reach book 3. Then, it becomes a lot more about them and their backstory as well as spending time together enjoying this new romantic relationship they are forming that is forbidden in Dylan's mind. You're left with a door closed on your face and to me the ending was lame.
Luckily, these are available free, or I wouldn't have started reading books 4-5, but since they are, time to find out how it ends. I'm really hoping to get the spicy parts back in the next books.

Hot and steamy so loved all the charactors. I couldn't put my phone down at parts. Housework pffft Emily's journey was too spicy 😂

Wow
This was a great story. For me it was way to long. But that is my opinion. They had a contract and kept extending it till they made a life long contract. It was great in that it showed how a relationship can come together when both partners work at it. Like I said a great storyline just too long for me.

Wonderful book collection! Really enjoyed her description of all the feelings of the protagonists, particularly the last three books that delve into the feelings and perspectives of the three brothers!! Her insight into their point of view makes one realize how everyone experiences the same things in very different ways. Good insight into seeing your own life.

Awesome series the thompson family and their partners. Loved how you started with Emily and Dylan to Trent with Jesse, Mason with Laura and Kevin with Ember. How there was brotherly disconnect to becoming close siblings. They all found true love. Thank you Summer for a great series.

Excellent to some disappointment!
The first book with Emily and Dylan was a very good read. The second book was good along with the third, however, I did not care for the writing near the end of the book.

All the books up until Dark Truth were amazing, then it just simply went downhill fast. It feels as though it became like a teenager was writing it. And Dylon lost his dark appeal to me. Could say he was just another guy at the end.

I loved Emily's story but would've liked more. Shame it ended where it did. Good to then have her brother's stories but I think another book of at least 500 pages is needed to tie all ends please.

No big prize winner but Dark Desires was an enjoyable series, and I'd read more of this author's work. The storyline worked and it was pretty well edited. Getting ready now to start the last 2 books of the series.

All she wants is to have a life of her own and to find and be desired by a man who will bring all her fantasies to fruition. Dylan/Mr. Dark is everything that she has dreamed about. For Dylan, Emily/"Stephanie" is everything he always wanted but never knew he wanted because he "doesn't do relationships". When her best friend Roxie helps negotiate a contract between "Stephanie" and Dylan as sub/Dom, her journey and his begins. Will each party find what they want or will this lead to more heartache and confusion about what is really important in life. The book ends in a cliffhanger of sorts but only makes you eagerly await Book 2, Dark Rules.

Well, I got part of my wish but this book leaves me with more questions about Emily/Stephanie, Dylan and the involvement in the other Thompson brothers. Dylan was everything Emily dreamed about but with the happiness, there is sadness when she realizes that all she may be is a "contract" for Dylan. She knows he has "feelings" for her but "he doesn't do relationships". Can they overcome the obstacles that continue to get in the way of their "relationship"? This book leaves me hungry for more of Emily's story and Summer Cooper has left this story in a place that makes me nervous. When is the next book in the series or maybe there will be more than one before I get to know how things end....
Dark Secret - This series is TOTALLY addictive and each page I turn gives me more satisfaction as well as more frustration as I immerse myself in the story of Emily and Dylan. Never have I read about a couple where I was able to keep my interest through not only one cliffhanger but three if you count the ending to this book. Poor Emily still has not been able to tell Dylan her real name or who she is because she is afraid of losing the only person in her life (except for Roxie) now that her family has disowned her. Poor Dylan has kept his own secrets from Stephanie/Emily and what will his and her secrets do to their relationship if they are ever revealed? Do yourself a favor and buy every book in this series so you can IMMEDIALELY read each book, in order by page after wonderful page.
There are two more books in The Dark series as well as the books outlining the Thompson men and their love interests that are included in this collection for your reading pleasure.

I love this series!!!
Not only does Emily help her father bring her brothers home, and one by one they all get their HEA, but after a while so does she.
She gets her own series within the series, and oh boy is it hot!!
The writing is captivating and I couldn't put it down.

ARC review For honest review winning her-Matthew wanted his sons back home so he had his daughter Emily helped him . While home Trent see jessi and with their past Trent needs to show and communicate his true feelings. 10 stars claiming her- This is a beautiful story of love . Laura works at the hotel as a housekeeper and who has had cancer .mason father owns the hotel that she works at . Protecting her-Bridget now ember is in England, where her boyfriend throw her out with just her guitar , now homeless sits singing her heart out only to catch the ear of Kevin who finds that he just heard a Angel and feels he must help her. Wow what a beautiful story of love . Dark desire-Emily Thompson is true of her family and wants one of her own and after they all forgot her birthday it was enough .She asks her best friend roxie who works at Emma's stop club/sex club to get her in. where she introduces her to Dylan James . This is getting really awesome can't wait for the next apart . Dark rule-( Stephanie) Emily Thompson has a secret lover but her doesn't know who she really is . She have a dom/sub relationship with Dylan James . This is what happens in this relationship . Beautiful, kinda sad, but awesome writing can't wait to see what happens next. The first of this eight-novel set introduced me to author Summer Cooper, and I have been in love with her characters and entranced by their stories ever since. Thereby assuring my fandom for this author to be both a foregone conclusion and my book obsession over these stories something I love to share. Each story in STAY WITH ME is an inspirational love story, and each is completely different and STEAMILY delicious! The chemistry is real, the prose entices, pulling readers into the mind, circumstances, and decisions of characters that seem so real they could walk through the door at any moment. This set of books has it all, grumpy hero’s, strong heroines and some BDSM!
Trent is the eldest and left home as soon as he could, feeling left out, unloved and alone, but it was partly brought on by his own feelings. Jessi was his fathers housekeepers daughter and had lived at the family mansion throughout her childhood and had fallen in love with Trent when she was young, but he laughed her feelings off and was so mean to her. Until they both grew up and he wanted her, but could she forgive the mean man he has turned into or has he hurt her too much.
Mason fell for Laura the first time he met her, but she has issues of her own to deal with so tried to stay away from him, the age gap was also a problem for her, could she fall for a younger man who liked to party and left a huge mess for others to clean up.
Kevin was the youngest of the brothers and preferred to travel than be stuck with his family, whilst in London on business he met a young homeless lady who he could tell just needed help, and she had a voice of an angel. So he took charge and managed to get her back the States, but then basically ignored her. He set her up with a job at a hotel in Nashville, and went to see her, their relationship grew, but when a woman told Ember things about Kevin, she ran. Could he track her down and bring her home, or had the damage been done.
Emily is the baby of the family, and she was sick of being treated like a doormat, so talked her friend into taking her to the club she worked at, a BDSM club which was tasteful and had strict rules. There she was introduced to Dylan, and the attraction was instant. The problem is, her family and what happens when it gets out that is into bdsm, but Emily doesn’t care and she loves Dylan, but he has problems of his own to deal with. Can they get through this together or will it break them apart?
A great box set of books and well worth the read.

A great collection of books to read, I will just note a few of them and my thoughts:
Winning Her - Trent Thompson broke her heart years ago, with his rejection of her, but Jessi has left those feelings for him behind her and become a successful pasty chef or has she? He has returned home, after a long absence, and Jessi might have been lying to herself over her feeling for him. I loved Jessi, and sometimes Trent isn't very nice to her, but I still liked him.
Claiming Her - Laura just wants to do her job, and get home, but party boy Mason Thompson has destroyed/messed up his room, he looks great naked, although she thinks he is too young for her. Normally the women drop in Mason's lap, but Laura one of the cleaning maids in his father's hotel, and she isn't going to give into him easily. I loved Laura, she has gone through a bit, but is still feisty. and Mason is easy to love, but he has lessons to learn.
Dark Desire - luckily the series is in this collection, so the cliffhangers won't be a problem (you just start the next book), it covers Emily, the sister of the Thompson brothers, of the previous books. Emily (Stephanie) comes from a well off family, which has sheltered her (and she is a virgin), and they kind of take advantage of her helpful ways, but she is going to teach them to appreciate her. She meets Dylan, when she explores a club her friend works at, and he changes her, but their romance isn't going to be smooth sailing.

This is an Amazing box set. Each Thompson brother story in unique in it's own way but the all fall for women thay live simple lives and are not impressed about their money. Trent and Jessi's story is my least favourite of the three brothers. The five books in the Dark series tells the story of their sister Emily. Her story is intriguing, romantic and steamy. At Emily's request, her best introduced her Dylan who would help her to explore her sexual desires. Neither Dylan nor Emily expected to have anything but dom and Submissive relationship but they got more than they bargain for. Their story is brilliant, I love how Emily stood up for herself and went after what her wanted. Sometimes we have to please ourselves and ensure our own happiness enen when all the odds are against us. The dark series are my favourite in this boxset but all the stories are good. Get this Boxset now. You'll not be disappointed.

This is a fabulous compilation of the Thompson brothers and how they met their matches and Emily, their sister's story. Each book is well written with a good story line including strong female characters and the alpha male that can be possessive and strong willed. Always wanting his way, but will he bend if it gets him the girl he wants? All the women have struggled and it is interesting to see how they move forward with their lives. The last 4 books are Emily's story and you find out if she can find her happily ever after like her three brothers have. Lovely to get and read the entire series all in one place. An easy one-click!

Having already read and reviewed emilys story in the past, I was intrigued to read her 2 brothers and trents stories ( half brother) I quite enjoyed getting to know them as a family and as individual people. Trent seems dark, brooding and the most difficult to get to know but he’s had a sad childhood so I can understand why he’s like he is. Mason is outgoing and not shy and Kevin is the romantic soulful one. The women they love are strong, independent as is Emily although being the youngest she looks after them and their kids but needs to be her own woman and have her own story and she certainly does. Lovely writing and great characters. Thoroughly enjoyable book. Tvm summer does it again for me. I received this arc for an honest review.

I love boxed sets and when those sets include all the stories from the Thompson siblings for one price, all the better. the first 3 books offered focus on Trent & Jessi, Mason & Laura, and Kevin & Ember. Each couple's relationship has its challenges, twists and turns and each has crazy chemistry. Each of these books are well developed fast paced, and compelling. The last books focus on the tumultuous relationship between Dylan & Emily. This book is a lot kinkier, has more drama, secrets, suspense, but intense chemistry and steam. I loved this couple! Overall each of the couples come out through everything with their HEA. Great Read.

If you want a great binge read, this is it. In this box set you will meet the Thomson clan, 3 brothers and a younger sister, they all have personal hurdles to navigate to find their HEA. The characters feel real to the reader, and I found myself getting involved with them all, chearing them on or shaking my head at different actions each would do. Although each book is about specific family members, they are all in each of them. I highly recommend this series.
