1. Life is a marathon not a sprint: Don't think I 'should' be doing certain things (ie earning more money, having a kid, travelling, etc) but rather I 'could' be doing those things. Having an unrealistic expectation for how your life should be = recipe for dissatisfaction. Be patient, good things take time and thats okay.
2. To achieve goals don't focus on the outcome (ie getting a job as a doctor) as you don't have control of this. Rather, focus on the processes that you feel are important to obtain your goal. These processes are things that are within your control to complete (ie reading this anatomy textbook, finishing this suturing course, learning about common medications). If you finish all the processes then you will likely also get the goal. Note: When you achieve a goal the joy is short lived. Need to find ways to enjoy the process.
3. Don't use the phrase "always" when talking about yourself. I.e. don't say to yourself that I 'always' make a mistake when trying something new and let people down. Rather it should be I 'sometimes' do make mistakes, but often there are times when I've gotten things right on my first try and exceed expectations. Keep a positive mindset, don't hold onto limiting beliefs.
Some helpful and effective suggestions but also some questionable proposals.
One of the things which the book does well is to focus on the fact that it is our models of reality which impact upon our thinking and acting, so improving the accuracy of our models is really important. That’s a good point and its well made.
However, sometimes the book’s cure for bad-models is not entirely helpful. For example, it tells us to ‘verify our assumptions, or else avoid making them’ (5%). In principle it sounds sensible that we should only believe what we have evidence for and what we can verify. But that is the old style rationalism which is impossible to actually follow.
This is because there are a whole range of beliefs which we hold, which we cannot prove. For example, when you get up in the morning you cannot prove that family members haven’t been replaced overnight with look-alikes, by indetectable aliens. We assume not. And we assume appropriately, otherwise we couldn’t function as human beings. But we can’t prove it. So, what the book should be recommending is for us to pick our assumptions carefully, not avoid assumptions which we can’t prove.
The book also goes a little too far in its recommendations for positivity, especially when it says surround yourself with positive people (62%). Yes, positive people are (generally) more pleasant than negative people. They may even be more energizing too. But an excess of positivity is as bad for our thinking as an excess of negativity. We achieve balanced and accurate models of reality by surrounding ourselves with a balanced set of opinions to challenge us in our modelling. If we surround ourselves with an extreme then we’ll probably veer into that extreme in our thinking. And that is hardly conducive to maintaining an accurate model of reality.
One puzzling theme in the book is a semi-fatalism which seems to permeate the text. For example, we are told that ‘in order to develop an accurate model of reality you must accept that things are exactly the way they’re supposed to be right now.’ (28%). The same point is made in slightly different ways throughout the book. For example, ‘you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be right now. Because if you weren’t, you would be somewhere else…’ (82%).
But why would anyone think that kind of fatalism is true? When children are dying of cancer is that the way it is supposed to be? And whey you fail to achieve your dreams should you just give up, because that’s how things are supposed to be? If the world is not fatalistic, then cultivating that kind of fatalistic thinking is simply cultivating a false model of reality. And isn’t that what the book is supposed to be warning us against?
Overall, there were some good ideas in the book, but the presentation of those ideas was a little overly simplistic in places, and the presentation of some ideas was arguably not the most effective way of ensuring sound thinking and an accurate model of reality.
The book focuses on aligning with the reality and moving away from false perception. There are action steps which the author provides which is very useful. Highly recommend anyone to read this book
If you are looking for ways to improve your life financially or emotionally then this is the book for you. This is a great read especially because it gives direct steps on how to master your thinking. It is even interactive throughout the book.
To me it feels like I got most of the results and everything I needed from this book I already got in book 3 and 4 , so if you read the previous ones I’d say you can go ahead and skip this one.
The content is all productive and good. But the book doesn’t speak of its title. It delivers the subtitle or that description stated below the huge title MASTER YOUR THINKING. For me, it sounded more like a goal setting stages and things to do like a planning rather than working on thoughts. I would definitely say that book description could’ve been the title because I had a different idea based on the title. Looks like title is just lure.
The book was well thought out and researched. I learned how to ask myself the questions and how to ask better questions to get better results of my life. I understand how to think to get better results gave me a different insight of how to use my brain. I appreciate a book and learned a great deal.
That I can’t wait to read this others other writing! I’m an avid self help reader with numerous books under my belt. This book has me motivated to keep changing for the better.

Tytuł: Myśl i działaj. Jak realistycznie oceniać rzeczywistość i osiągać swoje cele. Autor: Thibaut Meuisse Wydawnictwo: współpraca z Sensus
2. Jak dostosować się do rzeczywistości? * Akceptowanie rzeczywistości taką, jaką jest * Badanie założeń * Doprecyzowanie modelu rzeczywistości * Unikanie błędnych przekonań i myślenia w kategoriach urojeń * Jak stworzyć efektywny proces? 3.

Through clear examples and simple exercises, The writing is straightforward, motivational, and easy to connect with, making it suitable for anyone beginning their self-improvement journey. Overall, Master Your Thinking is a powerful reminder that true change starts with mastering the way we think.
In this book, I discovered valuable insights for enhancing the way I define my goals, becoming more confident, and improving the accuracy of my thinking.
The most powerful chapter for me was "Developing Unshakeable Confidence." In this section, I learned a lot about various tools that can be employed to overcome mental blockers that hamper performance.
Best quote: "This is the belief that everything happening to you is the result of your own thinking and everything outside of you is a projection of what’s inside you"
Realisation about the reality, the need for the Presence of positivity, meeting tasks, journeying step by step, self building by doing, bringing change, practising by doing, action plans etc. However there was sporadic repetition of terms and ideas which could have avoided. Ok, good reading. 👍
A good book to guide you how to navigate your path in life at the right mindset. Learn to think right; what you think manifests what you become. Don’t speak limitations; take action to work towards your goals. Bringing possibilities alive!
Very nice book to learn how things work and how you should be thinking to achieve it you must be thinking long term rather than seeing short term benefits thanks for the book
