Well, I thought this book was gonna be straight sex, which is fine, it was one of the best parts. Who doesn't love a good spanking?!?!?
But when they pulled in the drama, I was living for it! Talk about a roller coaster. It went from salacious to steamy to intriguing to terrorizing to maddening and everything in between. And I loved every minute of it.
The only thing I didn't like was the end and the unknown. This author is new on the scene so how will we know, when will we know if or when there will be a sequel?
There better be a fucking sequel!

I picked this book from Kindle Unlimited on a whim, because I loved the cover and ended up reading it in 1 night! It was so good and I can't wait for the sequel, which I hope comes out soon because I have to know what happens!

It reads like an erotica short story
There is very VERY little character development and there was so many inconsistencies is the plot that it was hard to follow. Such as "he tied my wrists so hard it hurt" then jump to, "I was gripping the arms of the chair tightly" um, ok , but how are you able to do that with your arms tied in front of you ?
If I had read this on literotica or something like that, I would have been quick to favorite it with 5 stars. But this isn't a spank bank website, it's a novel, and advertised as such.
I would like to see the author give this story a more robust and psychologically thrilling overhaul. It's got so much potential, but this is just the bones of a great story. Add some meat and flesh and texture to it. I think it's worth it.

At the beginning, I wasn’t so sure. The main characters started off so quickly I wasn’t even feeling the lust between them, but it just kept getting better and better! The ending KILLED ME! Killed me, I say!! I need that 2nd book more than I need air to breathe damn it!

This looks like a debut so this is an author you need to keep an eye on, people. It can only get better from here! And there better be some damn celibacy going on otherwise I might have to ask for a new iPad cause this bitch will not last! Following on Amazon so I will know when it comes out 😩🙏🏻

The story idea/plot is a decent one but it needs a lot of editing for development as well as proofreading for lots of errors. Their physical/sexual relationship started way too quick for me considering it was by the end of the first chapter, in which it is also said she has almost never seen him since he became her guardian and they had their longest conversation since she met him (of a few sentences) that day. I’m going to round up on the stars since I did end up skimming to the end, which is an ending of sorts, but not an HEA, though there is a note from author saying their story is not over. Unfortunately, I think it is for me.

What a great first book! It is heated from the start and keeps getting hotter as you go. (If school hadn’t started up, I wouldn’t have been able to put down.)
I had to remind myself that this was a romance during a portion of the book. There is a sort of cliff hanger ending... no HEA... yet. Which I totally agree with because of the age of Ali.
Can’t wait for book 2 to see how we meet up with Mr. Delaney.

Not HE A....Major cliffhanger..spoilers
I was enjoying the story and the development on the romance but the ending ruined the book. No happy ever after..just a big question mark.
Both h separated from one another as the ending. What a disappointment. At least an epilogue to show if the h found one another back to each other or they're happy. Don't read this if no ending and cliffhangers annoys you.

What kind of ending was that!
Ok, so I'm an avid romance reader. I love age gap, taboo, the whole innocent vibe, my favorite is a jealous possessive alphas! Oh and the hotter the better, bring on the steam! However, it doesn't matter how great the story is if you don't get a HEA ending which you do not with this book. I didn't know that going in or i wouldn't have read it. What a waste of time.

Pretty Intense
This story was a little slow and surprising at first and it quickly turned into a love story being pulled apart by factors of life. There's crime and family business getting everything jumbled up. There is betrayal. There's family and then there's heartbreak. The last few chapters of the book are so intense I couldn't put it down. I was invested and had to see how it all played out.

I couldn’t put this book down. Delaney is the Alpha male I love reading about , but this story has twists and turns that you wouldn’t expect . It’s so much more than your typical age gap troupe . If you are looking for a really hot intense easy read this is for you.
I can not wait for the second book. I really really hope this author gets it out to us this year. I’m hooked !

The book felt like it was missing a previous book, we didn’t see a development of them moving in together, what was her reaction to this or his. And ones we start we get the part of him telling her he will spank her if she doesn’t stop acting like a child.

Disappointed
This book was going great in the beginning it was a really good read even with the typo errors that it had. However the ending was very disappointing and I feel like I wasted the time that I would never get back.

Amazing story
The entire story was great and this the first novel. Can't wait for more. I'm not surprised by the ending but I feel like Heather is not going to be a good roommate. She is very selfish.

Frustrating
The book was pretty average, nothing that I didn’t see coming. I love a good age gap book, but this one had me frustrated. The girl’s whole identity revolved around the man, and had no real character of her own.
